Honesty and Integrity are hard to find in businesses these days, so I'd recommend them any day. During the installation, the installer realized he had the wrong color weather tripping, apologized, and was back a few hours later to finish that part of the job. Definitely showed he cared about doing the job properly and to our satisfaction. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is that their process of confirming an appointment was not consumer-friendly. They called the day before, within an hour of the close of business, to try to confirm...I had told them I would not be available to confirm that day because I was traveling. However, they were going to reschedule if they could not confirm an appointment the day before the appointment, within an hour or so of close of business? I get that some people are chaotic with their appointments and don't remember them, but that's really not my fault. Perhaps a fee for cancelling the day of would be more appropriate? Either way, that process keeps me from giving a 5 star recommendation, but I would still use them if I ever needed maintenance or repair for our brand new garage door.

The only positive comment I can make about Midwest Garage Door Company in Pawnee is that they came out the same day we called and gave us a free estimate. It was a bit odd that when my husband called originally it sounded like the call went to a call center overseas.

They said they'd be at my house between 4:30 and 5:00. At 4:45 Tom pulled up to my house. He took a look at my door, explained why the door had failed (previous owner installed it wrong) and started fixing it right away. The work was done well. My garage door opener is old and doesn't have many safety features. When I called to schedule the appointment I mentioned I'd like a quote for a new opener. Even though he knew I was looking to get a new opener, Tom took the time to oil the chain and adjust the machine so it was working well. I was very pleased with his work and attention to detail. I thought the quote for the opener was reasonable and he'll be coming out next week to install it. I highly recommend Superior. THe work and service are first rate.

Buck St. Leroy, 61752 for forty thousand dollars ($40000). On 7/15/24 Midwest Garage Builders secured a Residential Building Permit from the LeRoy code official. (Midwest garage Builders owner had been informed about LeRoy's requirement for 4 ft. frost footings, but had informed me they could conform to code with 12in. x 12 in. footings. The Building Permit application was amended to require 4 ft. frost footings. Midwest Grage Builders request a price increase of four thousand dollars ($4000) due to the footing change.) A garage foundation with 4 ft. footings for the garage was installed between 7/22/24 and 7/26/24. So far, payments to Midwest Garage Builders (Jeff Klees, Owner) of thirty-four thousand dollars ($34000). Since 8/25/24 the project has stalled. Numerous phone calls and emails have been sent to Midwest Garage Builders (Jeff Klees, Owner) and based on Jeff Klees responses no specific materials have been purchased for the project and no schedule has been established. From these details, one can only conclude, this is noy a reputable business.
