You have a choice among about 15 pizzas with simple but fresh and good ingredients. You order you pizza at the counter, and then watch them make it in front of you and bake it in the firewood oven. My favorite is the proscuitto - rucola - buffala, mmmm... Try the truffle one, it's also very nice! A few minutes after, you're free to go eat your pizza in the nice Sarphati park close by, or, like with the current weather, at your home! My first experience with their Diavola pizza was ecstatic. It was just the right combination of salty and spicy and cheesy and meaty. They even had little kiddie pizzas that my daughter liked. Subsequent pizza orders have been not so nice. Their pizzas seemed too salty, and just a bit off. I don't know if it's me or them. But their pastas I did not like from the beginning. I ordered a lasagna which was covered in meat and didn't have as much cheese as I was expecting, but this might have been because it was a more authentic Italian version than I'm used to. I also ordered a rolled manicotti pasta thing that was filled with tons of spinach and cheese, and I was expecting mostly just light fluffy cheese in the filling. Their website is light on the details about describing the food, so I think that's how I got that misunderstanding. I was trying to avoid meat for the most part so I ended up giving the pastas to my husband. The tiramisu, however, was great, even though it wasn't made with alcohol. And the delivery guy was diligent enough to carry the tiramisu outside of the pizza compartment, so it came fresh and intact and not all melted from the heat of the pizzas like I've seen with other pizza places. Delivery in general is really great. They're fast and can handle complicated delivery instructions. I really really want to love this place, but I just don't know how yet. All were beautifully plated and the eggplant came surrounded by a salad of different brightly colored and nicely bitter greens. It was also topped by tasty crisp homemade bread crumbs.
