We had an absolutely wonderful dinner with friends who live here. It was chilly outside, but warm and cozy inside with a warm fire. Everything is local and seasonal. We had some wonderful crostini w/ 4 dips; eggplant, red cabbage, chicken liver and radicchio - all were very good. Then, we shared 4 soups - lentil, a Swiss chard, a beans and chestnuts, and another bean soup - they were all great, too, but I think the Swiss chard was my favorite - light and flavorful. We had 2 bottles of Sangiovese between the 5 of us, and they were both excellent, - a blend, and a local one. Absolutely recommend. Note: they are open In the cooler months - Sept. through May or so. read more
