This place is a gem. It is a small, family run restaurant near the EU complex. Locals eat late and it was a Belgium World Cup game that evening, so I was the only patron for most of my meal. The chef is from Puglia, and his recommendation for a starter was a mushroom pasta from his home. He kindly made me a half portion, as I was on my own. Delicious fresh mushrooms in a very light butter and cheese sauce on their gorgeous house-made pasta. My main was osso buco, which was different than what I have had before -- quicker cooked, in a light tomato sauce. My server recommended the tiramisu, which she informed me was the best tiramisu in Belgium. I haven't tried them all, but after eating it I am prepared to believe her. Delicious cappuccino to finish. Lovely meal, kindly service. read more
