They welcomed us (6 persons) to their winery with no reservation, offered hefty tastings of 4 wines (1 Spumante, 2 reds, 1 white), served a platter of freshly baked focaccia (best I've ever/will have) and local meats, and chatted with us for hours. We were a bit confused that some of the signs for Pignole say Suastene, but we found out that they had recently been sold. Despite catching them in transition, the winery open its doors early for us. The tasting included 10 wines plus snacks for 25 euro. Our server Francisco was warm and knowledgeable, treating us to a tour of the cellars. Before we knew it, we had spent 3 hours there!

My friend and I found the most amazing red wine there, called Kairos, which is a blend of like 15 different grapes! We tried looking for the same wine in other Italian cities but could not find it anywhere, which was devastating. Come here if you want to learn about and try some delicious and unique wines!
