Lovely little hotel. Excellent location, only a 5 minute walk from the train station, close to lots of shopping and cafes, and very close to several vapretto stops.
Room was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and had a mini-fridge. Beds were on the firm side, but comfortable. My only complaint on the room was that ours had a full bed, instead of a queen sized, although I think some rooms come with different bed configurations.
The staff were are very friendly and helpful and at least everyone we talked to at the front desk spoke English very well.
Wifi wasn't free, but was reasonably priced. It cost 2 eu for 24 hours, however if you remembered to logout when you left the hotel, you could easily stretch a 24 hour pass for 3-4 days.
Breakfast was nice, although the selection wasn't huge. What they did have was good though, and my wife and I both enjoyed the jam filled brioche. I will say that the breakfast room is a bit small, so if everyone in the hotel decides to eat at the same time you might have to wait for a table, but we never had that problem when we stayed there.
If I ever make it back to Venice I'd mostly likely book this hotel again. The excellent location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms made this a winner for me. read more
