And I promise to keep up the search for an address to add to the listing. First to review (FTR) a new fabulous local biz in Napoli!!! I live for stuff like this. I love this place. They have wine to purchase by the bottle to either take home or enjoy in their cute little side shop (note: they have cheese plates as well!) Most important: they have my beloved Lacryma Christi Del Vesuvio. While this is probably par for the course in Napoli, it is something special for me, as I first tried this on my last visit to Naples and have been obsessed ever since, to the point of begging wine stores in NYC and NOLA to pretty pretty please carry it. That aside, I hope the locals love this new wine shop as much as this visitor to your fine city, Napoli!

This was by far our FAVORITE meal in the Campania region from the food to the service (Thank you,…read moreAntonio!!!) The restaurant was charming and the tables were perfectly spaced so it didn't feel too crowded. We didn't know what wine to order but we knew we wanted a White wine that was regional and could pair well with our meals. Antonio found us the perfect wine in our price range and we couldn't have been more thrilled! We started our dinner off with fried fish and a burrata dish. The jalapeno were so fresh, it wasn't spicy at all and the burrata was perfect. The fish was delicious and not too heavy. Then I had the best meal of the trip - the Tortelloni alle Nerano. These tortelloni were stuffed with multiple cheeses and the pasta was so fresh, it melted in your mouth when you took a bite. The pairing with the zucchini and sauce was so light, I think everyone needs to try it. My boyfriend got the seared tuna and it was prepared perfectly. The fish was fresh and soft as you bit into it. We saw amazing reviews for the meats and ragù but coming from Tuscany, we wanted to try something different. However, after eating these dishes, I'm sure it would have been even more incredible. We had to end with a dessert. The chocolate mousse was rich and perfectly paired with the berries. I wish I could rate this restaurant 10 stars. The people working there knew so much about the dishes, the wine and the pairing. The food was incredible. And the atmosphere and location made it feel like we discovered this hidden, local gem. We can't wait to go back!

This place is mainly a wine bar and we didn't get the wine so it could be on us! Burrata Appetizer was really good, fresh tomatoes and arugula. They gave you bread/oil vinegar for free which is nice. Carbonara was really good and had shaved truffles on it The stuffed Cannolini and it was extremely smokey and the cheese inside became kind of tough and gummy, it was the only thing I would not order again. Overall the place was solid and I wish I got to try some wines. Next time Wouldn't recommend since there were better spots.

Alessandro was more than accommodating and went out of his way to make sure that happened. We arrived in Capri and, for our first meal, headed up the side of the clock tower, climbing what seemed like a million steps. But it was hot as hell, and the staff graciously moved us inside, where we could enjoy the air conditioning. And something happened the moment my wife and I sat down....We felt at home There were greetings, smiles, kindness and laughter happening all around us. It felt like everyone knew us--even though they didn't. And the best part was, And importantly, none of it felt rehearsed. No fake Italian hospitality. No theatrical nonsense. Just genuinely warm people who seemed happy you were there. From my side of the table, I could see the ocean. From my wife's side, she had a view of countless bottles of wine. Honestly, we were both pretty happy. And there, to my right in the kitchen, was Chef Umberto, with his perfectly triangular, closely clipped beard and thick, solid handlebar mustache. You couldn't miss him. The kind of face that tells you this man has opinions about food--and probably about everything else. Hahaha. Since it was so hot, I was dying for a chilled red wine. Not only did they offer me a glass, they brought me a selection to taste first. And that's when the party started. The staff had absolutely no problem talking, laughing and joking with us. I told Chef Umberto how excited I was to try his food. He laughed and told me he was just as excited. The burrata salad. The burrata was beautiful, but those tomatoes--Jesus. They were so fresh and so sweet they tasted like they had come straight from heaven. Why am I even trying to grow them at home? The tuna literally melted in my mouth. And then came the Linguine alla Nerano--which may very well have been one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. I've eaten a lot of pasta in my life. This one stopped me. The kind of dish that stays in your head long after the plate is gone. I still think about it. The wine that stood out was Pallagrello Nero. Absolutely amazing. And then there was Lilly, who made an espresso we will never forget. Pietro served our wine with an extra level of care and attention that you don't often experience. Thyra was another great asset to their team--funny, warm and a lot of fun to be around. When it was finally time to leave, we didn't want to. And that's probably the best thing I can say about Pulalli. And I honestly got the feeling that they would have been perfectly happy if we'd just stayed. They made us feel like rock stars. When, in fact, they were the rock stars.

It is not in a touristy part of town at all, you wouldn't think it was much just from the outside, but once inside it is beautiful. The atmosphere is very romantic and the food - delicious. It's not your typical kind of restaurant though. Basically you get a choice of meal sized antipasto dishes - you'll enjoy cured meats, cheese, bruschetta, different types of pickled or marinated or sun-dried vegetables, wonderful wine, and amazing locally made honey and marmalade to accompany the different types of cheeses. Oh, and the dessert is fantastic so make sure you treat yourself! It is WELL worth it. The host, Yuri, was an absolute delight. A simple Google search for "live music near us" in Naples led us to Keste, and it turned out to be the best musical experience we've had not only in Italy but in our entire lives. We arrived at Keste on a Wednesday evening around 10 pm. My musician husband immediately noticed a drum kit--the first he had seen since we arrived in Italy. The amazing wait staff greeted us warmly and promptly handed us drink menus with clear prices, contrary to some reviews claiming they were overcharged. Our drinks arrived quickly, and we instantly felt at home. The locals, who seem to frequent this bar on Wednesday nights (which we learned is jam session night), asked if we played music. My husband, a drummer, was invited to collaborate on the drum kit--not once but multiple times throughout the night. What was meant to be a one-hour stop turned into an all-night amazing experience. The bar seemed to get even better as the night went on! The vibe at Keste was nothing short of incredible. The music, the owner, the staff, the openness, and the overall sense of belonging made us feel right at home. If you are a musician in Naples, this is THE place to be. If you enjoy music and great people with great energy, this is THE place to visit. I can't wait to return to Naples to visit Keste and reconnect with the wonderful people who frequent it!
