We stay 3 nights and every night we got a surprise, first night 1 bottle of champagne and a personalized welcome card ,second night box of some Italian gummy candies, and third night a box of chocolates. The Radio rooftop lounge is great too. The views are amazing and they treated us to the first round. The small plates of food was superb and the ambiance is stellar. I never saw a "hotel" lounge pack like a 5 star restaurant. In closing if your ever in Milan you should definitely stay here!!! Oh I also forgot to mention the bellman were so helpful, on the last day checking out Milan had a torrential rain storm. They help me put 6 pieces of heavy luggage in the car and got all wet and then they escort my wife, daughter and me by holding an umbrella so we wouldn't get wet. Keep up the superb service!!

Buffalo mozzarella, red and yellow cherry tomatoes, basil, pistachio pesto with chopped pistachios and EVOO. So unusual and so good. Shared three entrees. The veal scallops in Marsala wine sauce with garden vegetables was absolutely delicious. The fettuccine with mushrooms and Alfredo sauce was awful. Like a canned ragu sauce. Would not order that one. We also had a traditional Milanese dish that was recommended by our waiter. The Ossobuco alla Milanese served over risotto was very good. Ossobuco is a classical Milanese specialty. It is a braised veal shank cooked with vegetables, white wine and broth. It was served over Milanese risotto which is infused with creamy saffron. Nice to try this local dish. Overall, the meal was very good. It included a service charge. However when we went to pay, they charged us for the "free" bread that they brought to the table and tried to charge us an extra 20% fee on top of the service charge. Thanks, but no. I only wish they had a location where I live. This is the only Da Zero location in Milan that I've tried, though I believe there are a few others in the city. Business was bustling when we went. This place is super popular and I see why. The service was swift and friendly and we were seated quickly in the very full main area. We began with a Caprese Salad (cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, basil), and I ordered a Moretti Gold draft beer and my wife had a bubbly water. My beer was a 22 oz but as shown in the picture it was more like a 15 oz with the pour. Maybe the guy didn't pour drafts very often? In London, this one would've been sent back to have them finish pouring. For pizzas, we shared the multi cheese pizza (fiordilatte mozzarella, caciocavallo , mozzarella in myrtle, gorgonzola, pecorino cheese, provola, and Parmigiano Reggiano wafers). This one was rich and super tasty. We also shared a Capricossio pizza DaZero: (Incontro" tomato, fior di latte mozzarella, salami, ham, artichokes, mushrooms, olives, basil). This is sort of like the combo pizzas back in the States. It was tasty but a bit underwhelming for me. Overall, I like this place and would return here in the future.
