My mom went with the minestrone and she raved about it the rest of the trip! I dipped some of my bread in it and agree that it was quite good and that's not normally a soup I care for. The rest of us somehow all got lasagna and most of us enjoyed it, though one of the group found it too "creamy." I would agree that I do like a bit more mozzarella on my lasagna, but that could also be an American thing and not "authentic." Really the only negative here was having to go all the way downstairs to pay my bill. The restaurant isn't very big yet it was not the easiest journey and the wait down there was a bit long. It didn't taste bad but the bread was so toasted that I could barely bite into it. I left about 75% of the sandwich because I only at the middle which was less toasted. He never came back to check up on me and I ended up going to the counter inside to pay. Maybe this is how it's done in Italy but it was very odd. It wasn't even busy which made it very frustrating. I could understand if it was packed and a lot of tables had to be served but it wasn't at all! Definitely would not come back and would not recommend.
