Four cheese gnocchi is my favorite pasta dish here. The tagliatelle with ragu is ok, and their carbonara is popular and beloved, even if it's very heavy. Their gnocchi is very soft, but all other pasta is definitely al dente.
A margarita pizza is only €4,50 and I think you can get two meals out of it. The calzones are also huge, especially for only €6. It might not be mind-blowing pizza, but it's good stuff. They have a lot of different combinations of toppings, even if they don't serve (my favorite) pineapple on pizza. Taking pizza or a calzone to go is also a nice move for a quick dinner.
A standard size water bottle is €1,50. Individual prices of meals typically range from 6-12 euros. They also have wine and will split the cost of a bottle among a group.
The staff are hit and miss for niceness. Try to speak Italian and it will be appreciated. Also, pay attention to prices and remember what you ordered. You go up to the counter at the end of the meal to pay, and they expect you to know what you ordered. They also don't have takeaway boxes. If you can't finish your plate, they might encourage/shame you about eating more. Maybe it's an Italian thing?
