The pizza was really nice, you get a choice between Naples' style (deep pan) and standard thin pizza. Other friends went for some second courses and were all happy about it. Amazing food... friendly staff... definitely deserving of five stars!!…read more We passed by this gem on our way back to the AirBnB & decided to stop and have dinner. The restaurant is located just outside the central part of Florence, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism - which was a HUGE plus for me. I love to see where the locals hang out & this certainly felt like one of those places. I ordered the Vegetariana pizza and literally had to stop myself from eating the entire thing - it could probably feed 2 or 3, so order the pizzas accordingly! My friend ordered the spaghetti (recommended by the waiter) and totally cleaned his plate. It's safe to say that the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, checking on us frequently to ensure that everything tasted no less than perfect. Long story short, I will absolutely come here again when I'm back in Florence :)

We ordered crostini with pate, tagliatelle al ragu, and pizza margherita. The waiter told me carbonara is the best pasta for the place but I just had carbonara lunch so I decided to go to the "next" best choice he suggested. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures of the pasta and pizza as we were very hungry and started eating when dishes came out. This place deserves 5 stars because: 1. Awesome pasta and pizza - we could taste the freshness of tomato sauce and pasta was cooked perfection with delicious but not heavy sauce 2. Very reasonable price was -most dishes were 5-6 Euro (most expensive item was 7 Euro) and antipasi ranging 3-4 Euro. 3. Friendly services - The waiter (could be the son of the cook) was friendly and funny and it seems that other people in the restaurants (mostly Italians) like the food/services

Very nice menu, explained well, almost. I wanted the famous Florentine T-bone steak. Menu states 5.50 euro per 100 grams, 500 gram min. Ok. They tell me and show me the beef and saying 1 kilo was the min. Ordered the lamb chops as recommended by our waiter. While I did not specify the level of cook, they didn't ask either. The lamb chops were well done and I prefer medium. They did have good flavor and taste so I just kept quiet. Wife's pasta dish was ok. Wine was very good. Service was ok. Overall prices were reasonable. Overall not too exciting for Florence.

They didn't have anything inside so we got stuck put outside with anyone else who didn't have a reservation. this would have probably been fine but we were less than a meter away from the neighboring table. which meant I got to hear the gossip and drunken stories of a couple that was vacationing from London, I wondering if they are telling the same story but saying they heard ramblings of a Houston couple on their vacation. If this was the only problem then that wouldn't be that big of a deal but the staff gave awful service and had no interest in giving good service. I wanted to chalk it up to cultural difference but this was by far some of the worst service I got in Italy so I doubt that was why. I think they just didn't much care to give good service. The food was Okay but nothing amazing. I can confidently say that the best part was they make small pizzas so you are able to order two small pizzas for each person.

A waiter at another restaurant actually recommended it to us as a top pizza spot where locals go and we didn't regret taking her advice! You order the pizza and bring it to your own table to eat. There's not service per say but the owner and staff were still helpful. If you're looking for a real authentic pizza spot the locals actually eat at and not tourists this is the place to go.
