I recommend the bruschetta with very ample amounts of flavorful tomatoes (you pick which 3 bruschetta you want from 4 or 5 options such as traditional, caprese, parma ham, etc.), the Veal Scallopini Al Marsala (which Yelp makes me type that way not to spell correct it), and the truffle Paccheri pasta (which was heaped with a generous portion of sliced black truffle and burrata). Absolutely the most entertaining dinner we had in Europe by faaaaaaar and the owner Gerardo made sure we had not only a delicious dinner but also we had tons of fun talking to him and he cooked table side. I was excited to try Swiss food for the first time so we set off through the city to look for a good spot. There are sooo many places in Zurich with great reviews, you can through a stone and it'll land in an area with an abundance of 5 star restaurants. After walking past a few places we settled on Italian, mostly because it was right there and pasta is filling. We walked in and asked for a table for three. They asked if we had a reservation and we said no, the restaurant was empty, but maybe there were more people coming and there would be a rush soon? We were lucky enough to get a seat. We started looking at the menu. They have different options in pasta and pizza, including vegetarian, meat, and seafood options. I ordered a seafood pasta, my friends ordered a pizza and pasta as well. The food took a while to come out. Maybe the pasta is made by hand? Not sure, but the restaurant was still empty. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. Once the food came out we dug in, it was ok. It wasn't the best meal I've ever had but it wasn't the worst. It wasn't worth the price tag but Switzerland is expensive so everything is on the pricier side. The whole meal even after we left the place never filled up. It makes me curious to know why they seemed like they didn't have availability. Interesting. All in all I wouldn't return, but it is in a great location so maybe I'll return for wine and a cheese platter!
