By the time we left it was packed! Go early! The owner is originally a new yorker but the food is authentic Italian. The pasta was yummy, the pizza was delish but my favorite thing had to have been the potato skins. Our Italian friend joked in America we skin the potato and make fries, in Italy they use the skins and throw the potato away. It doesn't sound appetizing but it is out of this world. CRAZY good. We tried the Cheese and pepper pasta and it was cooked perfectly complimented by an amazing sauce. The Pizza had a little bit of everything (mushroom, egg, prosciutto) It was thin but crisp. LOVE Italian pizza. This is the real deal. The prices are reasonable. We didn't have anything that was bad. Tip: Go early and order the potato skins. You won't regret it.

Once you sit, complementary on the house they give you a basket full of a wide variety of fresh and delicious cold cuts that you can cut at your own pleasure. Their "house appetizer" made with fresh fried vegetable, meatballs and bruschetta is delicious too! They have an amazing fire wood grill on which they grill all sorts of meats and fish! Ask the waiters for the day specials since they are usually really good and tempting. This restaurant has been family run for over 5 generations now, and the king of Italy used to stop here to eat on his way out of town. Definitely worth going if you are looking for a real roman culinary experience!
