I will give them five stars since I can drink craft beer, eat amazing food, chill with the family (kids included) or go on a date with my husband, hang out with friends, throw a party, enjoy a quick drink with the girls, and __________ (insert anything you might want to do involving eating and drinking with anyone and everyone in your life) at Il Birrificio and everyone will be happy. They get mad props for having a great in-house production beer. That is to say they brew it there. Behind a little glass window that you can look through to see the fancy beer brewing apparatus that is as of last week churning out some really yummy mommy water. They also have wine, sparkling wine, and wine :)
The food is great! They have a cheese plate and charcuterie plate (10e and 13e) that are perfect to share and some seriously delicious fries (5e)...if you're in a pinch for time and just want to catch up over some drinks and snacks order all three and you'll be fat and happy and in and out in no time.
The sausage platters are supposedly very good and they look super even to this vegetarian. The panzanella salad is one of the best I've ever had. And huge!
Environment is nice: no fuss, nothing fancy. Some bar stools, two rooms with tables. One main dining room with LOADS of natural light due to the corner location and another room that makes a great space for parties or bigger get-togethers. This place is really worth a go. They DO have baby seats (for those of you who like a baby with that bubbly or beer), they DO have banquettes, they do have ample seating for groups, and it is also a fine place for a low-key date night. Their quality standards make me feel good about going there, their versatility makes me want to suggest the place for just about everything, and their menu just makes me hungry. Go here. read more
