So glad I found this place! After searching for years for a decent nail salon in Beverly Hills and getting disappointed over and over, a friend recommended Kote. The girls at Kote are truly masters of their craft. Their technique is perfect. They use the Russian technique, which is a lot more involved. They are not afraid to work with skin to get the cuticle and the feet just right. They prime the nails to perfection and the polish application is flawless. I know a thing or two about nails, and am very, very picky. I can do my own nails better than virtually 99% of the techs I dealt with before. I had some awful $100 pedicures at five star hotels, and some decent, but not perfect manis at those hole-in-the-wall salons in the Valley. But in terms of thoroughness, no one but me could ever give me the perfect mani. Until yesterday. Julia did my manicure, and she know her stuff. You can see from the way she works, she's a pro. The whole thing takes a while, this is not your average 30 minute job. My regular manicure (not gel) took about an hour, because of how thorough Julia was. Anya did my pedicure, and it also looks amazing. Bonus points to Anya for being super patient and accommodating with me. She literally stopped mid-pedi to let me finish my errand and come back an hour later to pick up right where we left off. I am so grateful for her flexibility.
