We came here for some snowballs. We went to another place down the street was all the doors were closed. Lucky for us Ike's was open. The customer service was great here. They were friendly and didn't take long to get our snowballs. I ordered their King Cake with condensed milk, my son ordered their Hurricane and my wife ordered their pina colada with condensed milk. They were all really delicious and can definitely see myself returning if I'm close by.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I'm a born and raised New Orleanian and let me just say this these people are selling gentrified snowballs. Now let me get into the service, flat out horrible. The workers all have sh*tty attitudes. I asked for sour spray on my snowball & I had to repeat myself twice bc she didn't know the menu. The cashier caught an attitude w me after I explained that there was sour spray right there on the menu. She told me "she just started working there". So another worker walks over to help her put the topping on the bill and tells her just charge them 75¢. So I asked them why was it 75¢ instead of 25¢ like on the menu and I pointed at it. A different lady annoyingly said to just take it off the bill. I don't understand what all the hostility was but all I wanted was a decent snowball w condensed milk & one w sour spray for the correct price ofc. The pricing was okay considering the prices of snowballs have been going up in the city and the snowballs were almost great but this experience was by far the worst. Also this is the smallest large cup I've ever had.

Snowballs were decent. Not the best nor the worst in NOLA. The ice was soft and the condensed milk added the perfect amount of sweetness. The employees were quick making our snowballs, and upon asking for my syrup, they immediately apologized and added more. Overall, Ike's is a solid snowball stand. Although I would not make an effort to go, if in the area and craving a snowball, I would definetly stop by.

A friend of mine convinced me to come for dessert. I have driven by many times, just had not been in before. You go up to the window, order and pay. They will call out your name when your order is ready. You sit out at the picnic tables or take it to go. We both got the butterscotch sundae, and oh my goodness it was wonderful! The employee working was friendly. I look forward to coming back.

Be prepared to wait, wait, and wait. This little snowball stand offers treats and snacks, however the operations make it good and not great. I imagine they could rake in tons more revenue if they where logistically sound. So be prepared to wait, wait, and wait. Another thing that boggles me is how clumsy the logistics are they have two windows but only use one for service, they could take orders from one and serve from another, this could possibly cut down on ticket times.

This place was a blessing in disguise! I was having an outside meal and being almost 7 months pregnant the heat was starting to get to me. I asked my husband if he thought there'd be a snowball stand open even thought it was 4th of July. He got on Yelp and quickly found Ike's. We decided to drive by since it was so close to where we were. They were open!! The line was a bit long but it didn't take them long to get it cleared out. They had some great flavor choices. I was delighted to see they had snowballs for dogs and I happened to have my dog. I got king cake and condensed milk. It was delicious. The milk wasn't overly thick either. There was plenty juice. The ice was perfectly soft. The prices were pretty normal compared to other places. It was the perfect way for us to all cool down!

Horrible service, owner threatened and cursed me out over a simple mistake. This happened on Monday October 2nd, 2023. Do NOT visit this snowball place, mean, nasty owner and terrible service

This has been my 3rd time here and the first time the snowballs were truly amazing however these last two times have been awful. There's no way their snowballs should cost that much but poor in quality the ice was horrible so hard and clumpy and their juices are terrible you can't taste the flavor they must cut them with water they're so watery you'll order one flavor and it doesn't even taste like the flavor you ordered but not just that the service is horrible especially when the adults are there. The kids are better servers. Any who this was my last and final straw. If their prices increased so should their quality. We still ate a little of the snowballs because we spent $6 on two and we didn't have tops as well (per our request)

Let's just say that I got more syrup than ice. Bruh moment. This place was made in he double hockey sticks.

I like Ike's! David and I are trying different snowball stands around town and he suggested this one that I had never heard of. Ike's is right by the Burger King/MoPho strip mall by City Park and there was no crowd when we were here early on a Friday evening. There's a lot of seating area with tables and they have a nice selection of different snowball flavors and ice cream and also offer boudin, for some reason. I got a wedding cake snowball and David got pralines and cream. I have to say, I really liked the fact that they flood the ice with syrup. It was practically spilling out of the cup, and when it comes to syrup, you can't over do it. The ice was nice and fine and the flavor was great. The stand is right by a bus stop and a nice "New Orleans' highlight was when a bus driver parked the bus at the stop, hopped out and treated herself to some much earned ice cream. This stand wouldn't be my first pick for a snowball, but I wouldn't skip it if I was in the area when a craving hit.

I really love this snowball stand! The prices are so cheap and they have a nice area for sitting to enjoy your cool treat! Also have doggie snowballs if you like bringing your fur baby out as well. Located so close to City Park that you can just walk on over. They have a huge selection of flavors, including color free and sugar free. If you need snacks, they also have some light bites like nachos, hot dogs and pickles for purchase as well. Cash only...be sure to have some cash because they do not accept cards.

If there's one thing you can never have too many of, it's snowball stands in New Orleans. Upon the urging of my wife, who is a self proclaimed snowball connisseur, I stopped at Ike's Snowballs this afternoon to kill her craving. Located at 520 City Park Avenue, this newly constructed business resides next to the strip mall that houses Burger King and Subway. Being on the extreme Northern Border of Mid City, this location will prove perfect for people residing in Lakeview (South), the Bayou Saint John area and for Delgado students. The facilities are spotless inside and there is plently of availble tables outside to sit down and enjoy your snowball. This will prove especially helpful if you have kids who are prone to spilling things in the car. My wife had a combo flavor (chocolate & coconut), which almost tasted like a frozen "Alomond Joy". The chocolate was creamy, but not too strong as to be overpowering. The coconut was also good without being overly sweet. The real treat was the consistency of the ice. Although I could not see if their ice machine was a "Snow Wizard", I'd bet that it is. It was almost velvety smooth and had no lumps at all, even when she got to the very bottom of the cup. I'm giving this place 4 stars for now, as it is a little too new to give a perfect rating. If you're in the Mid-City or Lakeview area and are looking for a new taste, give 'em a try.

I stopped by pandora's snowballs on a saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Despite the long line, we actually were served pretty quickly. And our snowball was made pretty fast as well. The food was pretty good! It was very sugary, but that's kinda what you come for :) the ice was really good & the cream was also yummy. It was a nice balance. I also thought the flavors of ice were nice and potent. We got a stuffed snowball with vanilla cream & half mango + half strawberry cheesecake. We also got the sour spray on the mango half. I'd recommend getting some more toppings, it would definitely make it more delicious I was a little disappointed that there was no seating or tables to eat at. Had to eat and walk at the same time.. or if there were tables we couldn't find them. But overall a good experience

I am used to snowballs being somewhat fine chunks of ice that have a ton of syrup glazed over it and maybe some bites have too much syrup or not enough syrup. The ice is so fine the moment it touches your tongue it literally just melts. I opted for the Ube flavor in typically because of the syrup, I usually get more thirsty after I'm done eating snowballs, but with this one, it was so refreshing. I can only imagine the sensation if I were eating this on a hot summer day. They had some unique flavors and my husband my mother-in-law and I all got different flavors that we tried each other others and I can't say anything wrong about any of them. They were well balanced somehow the savory flavors worked as a dessert and I can't wait till the next time I can go back. Something I learned on this trip is that snowballs here are available from Mardi Gras until around Halloween so just something for you to note if you are traveling, but I was told that they do pop-ups here and there a little outside of the season. Their overall service was amazing. They are very friendly, very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. So if you're in the area, I highly recommend.

Stopped in for a snoball, as my regular snoball stop was closed for the day and lo and behold as I'm driving down the street, I SPIED, you know the game I SPY, well, I SPIED Downtown 504 Snoballs. I made a beeline and turned to partake of the syrupy goodness. Good thing I stopped as soon as I did, because shortly after arriving, they began their daily 'shut down' procedures. Anywho... So many flavor choices to choose from, what's a girl to do? So, I took my time, surveyed the selections and picked the most interesting combination... stuffed (with ice cream) STRAWBERRY + MANGO; two of my favessssssssss. The snoball was so juicy and tasty and thirst-quenching until, I had to savor the greatness before pulling off. I mean, scoop after scoop rendered a great juice & ice combination. I tried to stir to mix the ice cream and syrup, but the mouthwatering that was going on was too much to contain. So I began eating and slurping, don't judge me, and eating and slurping; until I looked up and nearly half of it was gone and I was still sitting in front the snoball stand. I plan to return to try the other snoball flavors and menu items. I like that the owner, employs school aged youth.
