I was told my service man was at another call and would be over between 10 and 10:30. I asked what happened to our 8am appointment and was told it had been "moved", no call or email to state that. I said I was not happy but was still going to let it go. At 11am I get a call from the office that the tech would be over in 35min to which we then canceled the appointment. If I showed up to a doctor appointment that late with no call, I would have been charged a late fee. Now I need to find someone else to do the repair!

Total cost was well over $1000. In order to get a bobcat into the backyard the fence was dismantled. When it came time to list the house the lawn looked worse than it originally did despite watering regularly. Not only did grass not grow, weeds grew rampant. It turned my yard into a mud pit and weed field. Don't trust me trust the attached pics. I called, texted Paul on multiple occasions to reinstall the fence he removed and asked him to resolve the lawn and weed issues. When he finally called back I was told that the grass seed only works 60% of the time. This information would have been useful before I spent $1000 to ruin my lawn and fence. Paul never fixed the issues, never warrantied his work and never called me back despite leaving multiple voicemails and texts requesting follow up. I ended up giving the buyers of the house a $1k credit and told them not to use this company. It was a complete waste of my time and money. Don't waste $2k like I did. Instead hire a professional landscaper.

His personal car insurance paid for my repair. He gave no discount for the HUGE inconvenience of having my SUV in shop for 5 days. He did not pay for car upgrade to SUV which I really needed to transport my three kids. I purposely parked WAY out of his way to leave most of driveway and all of garage clear for him and his partner. It took him 3 days to re-install 3 closet doors and three towel rods and three shelves. One closet door fell off the day after he left. This was the one he took hours to put on its tracks and when he finally got it to slide on tracks, it was upside down! He billed those hours re re reinstalling it. He made sure he billed me 7 hours of work even when he took off for lunch and talked a great deal during day. Made sure full days work billed-- conveniently finished at 4:30 and took extra 15-30min putting stuff in van (also billed). Came out more costly than "Mr. Handyman" company who bills at 1/2 hour increments. John bills hourly and doesn't estimate in advance. Now I know why. I've tried 3 other handymen in the region and they are ALL better than this guy. He shouldn't claim to know how to do things if it takes forever to learn to fix, and charge as he learns and fails and tries again, as he goes...
