Was so excited to hear we were getting an IKEA in Syracuse. Love IKEA and all the showrooms which always taps into my decorating creativity. Unfortunately, this was disappointing as there are very few decorated rooms. To me this was a wannabe IKEA. So happy we have an IKEA but wish we had the usual large than life store that I have grown to love. I was not a particular fan of self check out which was not intuitive and difficult to use. Think I will still make the trek to the city or NJ to get my IKEA fix

I mean... it's fine as far as IKEAs go, I guess? I've been to a couple full-size IKEA store locations, and this store location is significantly smaller (and that was noted as much when they put it in the mall and were promoting the opening, etc). In line with that, it doesn't have the variety of displays or more of the unique inventory that you'd find in a full-sized IKEA location... but it offers the basics. There's a small little section for food and snacks - including their signature Swedish meatballs, of course. Nice to have at least *some kind* of IKEA option nearby.

My second visit to IKEA! My main reason was to score some of the iconic meatballs! I don't know what kind of magic is in the recipe but these are absolutely to die for meatballs! I have bought the beef the last two visits, I'm coming back to try the chicken , and plant based options! Absolutely delish! Perfect for get togethers. I need to find the correct sauce, looks like Huvudroll! The mashed potatoes are yummy as well! I did peruse the furnishing section as well, you can get some serious steps in following there intricately designed path that maximizes space throughout the store! I still have my eye on that sturdy little kitchen cart for my apartment! Great furniture options for small spaces! Love that we have an IKEA in Syracuse! Can't wait to make my first furniture purchase! I have avoided weekends because there is not a spot to be had near IKEA!

First time at an Ikea and had no expectations or knowledge of what kind of store it was. It was a big store and very easy to get lost in it. The layout was confusing. The products however, were nice. There are some great deals and then most overpriced items. I bought a kitchen tableware set for $1 a piece. That was a steal. Furniture looks like good quality. There are a lot of items that I know could be purchased cheaper at a homegoods or Marshall's but it was a fun experience. We didn't try out the Cafe but it looked interesting. Hot dogs, Swedish meatballs and cinnamon rolls were on the menu.

The store is very unpleasant looking. For selling furnishings it looks like somebody's garage very disappointed.

From the second I stepped inside, I was greeted with a beautiful tableau and enveloped with a warm,…read moreinviting vibe. I was greeted just as warmly by Deb, the shop owner, who chatted with me as I browsed. She's got the level of attentiveness just right-- she's lovely and engaging, anticipating customer needs (like offering the fitting room, if you're looking to try on their cute selection of vintage clothing) while also giving you room to explore the gorgeously-curated boutique. There are quirky, fun details to be found in every corner. I've learned pretty much everything you see is fair game! Even antique pieces I was sure were display only, like vintage thermoses and framed art. All affordably priced. Stationery, slim beeswax tapers, canvas pouches, unique kitchen/home goods, retro posters, knicknacks, vintage accessories, and so much more. I'll be adding photos, since words can't convey the array of awesome to be found here. Even better is it's pet friendly! Bring your furry friends. I know I'm going to visit as often as I can to make up for not discovering this Ithaca gem sooner! What makes the vibe immaculate is the shop staff, especially the owner! They have been just sincerely kind, generous, and lovely people. They have a basket of free water bottles to keep visitors hydrated. This is a new local hospitality bar set! If you drop by, tell them E sent ya.
