My daughter begs to eat here at least once a month so we've eaten a lot of meatballs with mashed potatoover the last few years. The chocolate cake slice is my favorite. I do enjoy the wide open space here, never any problems finding a seat. The deco is also nice and homey. The cafeteria- style service is quick and easy. Until next time, IKEA!
Great place to eat a casual meal and get some work/studying done. The food isn't as affordable as it used to be, but if you're an IKEA family member and accumulate points by logging into the app every week, you can redeem them for $5 off your restaurant/marketplace purchase. Staff are friendly and quick with service. I do love coming here to study though! Wifi is free and easy to access with no time limits. They've added a conference table with access to outlets, although the rest of the tables/cubicles don't have outlets. It can get a bit loud with background noise, as the sound echoes from kitchen operations and kids are playing in the play area of the restaurant. It's usually easy to find a spot in the afternoons/evenings on weekdays and weekends. Overall, reliable study spot for anyone looking for a place!
The curiosity of cheap eats got me to try Ikea's advertised pasta and marinara for $2.99! I wondered - how much do they give you? How does it taste? I was about to find out! I went up to the restaurant - grabbed a side salad out of the cold case and went to the hot line for the pasta marinara. It was a cavatappi pasta on this day (I'm not sure if it's always the same) and he scooped a full bowl of it and topped it with marinara! You can add 4 meatballs for $1.50 so I did and put it on the pasta. There you go - pasta and meatballs marinara. The taste - not bad! I mean, you can't expect a sit-down restaurant quality but it's simple enough that for $2.99 - you don't have much to complain about. I ate it, I was full and I was on to my next errand! PLUS - free coffee for flashing the members code (which is free).
IKEA is a great place to walk around during lunch time. We stopped by the IKEA restaurant after our walk. It's okay. The food is really cheap. The dinning room is very clean. See my pics
Their quality in the fries have taken a tumble. This was one of the items I could always depend on. So sad that their quality has taken a crapper. What was one of the best items to order is no longer so. Their fries used to be nice and crunchy on the outside and creamy soft on the inside is no longer so. I think the present vendor has a terrible product. A new item is their falafel balls accompanied with a garlic ailoli. A hard pass on this unless you enjoy disappointment, the falafel balls were overcooked and tasteless, the garlic aioli didn't help it at all. It's too bad that their quality has fallen so far.
Hej! What are you guys complaining about? Where else can you get: FREE COFFEE or TEA with your IKEA family membership, which is free by the way. We saved $13 by not buying coffee from that place that starts with an "S" and ends with "bucks". That place should be renamed SuperBucks. 40% OFF MEATBALL PLATTER w/ IKEA Family Membership: $4.99 for a plate of 12 meatballs with mashed potato, gravy, lingonberry sauce and peas; choice of vegetarian or real meat. Hubs got the $1.99 for 4-piece sampler. $2.99 PASTA with MARINARA PLATE, with the fancy corkscrewy pasta. Lots of it. Smacked onto a plate for a real cheap price. Did not try it, but it looked just about right for the price. Las Vegas is ridiculous expensive, but not here. My membership expired but Isiah at the counter helped us out. He was super wonderful, kept his sense of humor and good mood laughing and greeting people although he was the only one manning the cash register on a Saturday morning. Awesome guy. But one thing I noted about Las Vegas lately - very empty. Hardly any crowds, or people. Don't know how business is going to survive if Vegas doesn't do something drastic to get tourists and visitors back. You can fill up your intestinal gas tank here for real cheap and relatively quality foods. I saw some Marinated Salmon chunks for less than $5 and an array of tantalizing desserts including rainbow colored cake.

There was a special going on for the 5 piece plate but I was starved and opted for the 12 piece. $9.99 instead of $2.99.... I didn't realize till after I paid that the sale was for 5 pieces LOL. Oops! Everything was fresh. Deff wasn't sitting in the warmers. Service was quick. Went through the line and paid just over 5 mins is all it took. It was pretty chill for a Friday afternoon. Easy to snag a table around 12:30-1pm. I have to make time for soft serve next visit!
I eat here few times a year. Foods are ok. I realized the foods prices were increased a lot. When it was cheap, I enjoyed their foods more. But the foods still look healthy and fresh. I like that. It's self service restaurant like buffet. The restaurant has big windows and natural lights.
I went on 12/29 for a bingo for 18+ event and also had dinner there before the event. I have come here multiple times in the past and eat here often with my kids and parents too. I haven't had any complaints or issues with the food. Their Swedish meatballs dish and mashed potatoes is always delicious, and there's plenty of seating. It's pretty much self service, and there's lots of room for the kids to walk around within view and some play areas for the kids in the eating area as well.
The food and experience at the IKEA Restaurant is always pleasant! Prices continue to be incredibly affordable with many options and exceptional quality. The dining area is kept clean and service attendants are easily found and constantly cleaning. There's always an available table and the distant views of Red Rock are beautiful (though they are a bit blocked by the newly constructed Ashley Furniture store). If it's your first visit, I definitely recommend the Swedish meatballs with lingonberry jam, chicken tenders, and garlic bread! Also, try the lingonberry drink! It's very good and refreshing. Definitely check the IKEA restaurant website too. They seem to always have a rotation of lunch and breakfast specials. Perhaps the best piece of advice, though is to sign up for their free IKEA Family Members card. You'll be able to take advantage of daily food and beverage deals and receive special offers for shopping. We're definitely fans!
There is a small amount of items I can have that are gluten free but I like that everything is portioned. Their side salds are small but full of fresh vegetables. Their lox was deliciously salty and covered with dill. The chocolate almond cake is light and crisp. The vegetarian meatballs are plant based as well as the vegetable medallions I just preferred something cold on a warm day. The rest of the family had their favorite Swedish meatballs with gravy, mash poatoes, peas, and french fries.
IKEA Restaurant is such a good deal. The Swedish meatballs are solid and the price is almost unbelievable for what you get. It's located right next to IKEA with plenty of parking, so it's easy to stop in before or after shopping. Nothing to complain about. It's affordable, quick, and satisfying.
Came here for early dinner before shopping at the store. Meatballs didn't have as much gravy as before. Wish there was more choices for sides. Asked for a combo (entree, salad & drink) for our meal but they were out of salad. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes we get a helpful & cheery staff, sometimes we get a tired & impatient employee. Dining area is well lit but a lot of glare towards the end of the day.

Both the store and the restaurant always under a makeover; this is constantly. More tables were added here, the Return dishes area is to the side now, the far left of the restaurant. Unadvertised special: free coffee & decaf, or tea, for Members- use your card to scan it. Dessert featured: four items on a plate, for $5.66- this is a bargain! Hubby mentioned that if we are out & about, but we want a sweet treat, we can just stop here. It's a good idea, since IKEA is just five minutes away from us. read more

So I've been a fan of the Ikea restaurant for years but was a little disappointed on my recent visit in Las Vegas. I don't eat peas, so have always substituted for a different vegetable, like broccoli or the vegetable medallion. I was informed that they no longer allow substitutions on their plates so if you don't eat mashed potatoes or peas and want a different side or veggie, you now have to pay extra. Not sure if this is only at the Las Vegas restaurant or if this is Ikea-worldwide. At least offer a $1-2 upcharge if the side is more expensive than the potatoes or peas. I would gladly pay that to get something I will eat rather than leave it off the plate and still be charged the same price. On a positive note, they now have a meatball sampler - 4 original, 4 veggie and 4 plant based for $5. However, I was not charged the correct price and was charged for individual orders of 4 meatballs. The veggie balls are chopped up mixed veggies and the plant protein are pea-based. I definitely will order the veggie balls again! read more
Ok, we don't have IKEA in Hawaii so, I came here to wish I did! Lol. I actually came to pick up little housewares gifts. I love the room set ups as well. So creative for small spaces. So while I'm here why not hit the cafeteria? Of course meatballs were on the agenda! I had it with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas and that famous Ligon berry jelly! Something so simple just hit the spot. My trip to IKEA was complete! read more
I haven't shopped at IKEA in probably six years and I think the last time I hit their cafeteria was over 20 years ago, probably 25 if I think about it. I guess I had a warm enough memory of it that when my wife wanted me to go to IKEA with her, she talked me into it by saying we could grab dinner at the cafeteria. I do love meatballs. They're like their own food group in my world, so I agreed. The last time I had Swedish meatballs, I found a recipe online and made my own. They were pretty good and I guess I'm wondering why I haven't made them again since. They were definitely many orders of magnitude above the sad little things I was served at IKEA. Any meatball smaller than a golf ball is a waste of time and these were the size of marbles. If you remove the instant mashed potatoes, gravy and pees from the equation, you're paying about a $1 a marble. I don't consider that a good price. It honestly looked like a Swanson's Hungry Man dinner from the 1960-70's and the flavor was probably on par with that as well. In any case, I probably won't be back. Maybe they were good in the past and they put the team in charge of designing their low-quality, assemble-it- yourself furniture in charge of the recipes. That stuff is probably responsible for a significant portion of landfill deposits over the last 30-40 years since IKEA became ubiquitous in the US read more

Honestly I've just tried the veggie hotdog and the review is only for that. I'm yet to try other things at the IKEA restaurant, so this feedback is for the veggie hotdog only ! It was okay but I wouldn't order it the next time. It had pickled beets and fried onions as toppings which balanced the entire flavour. The veggie hotdog was a disappointment, it was more of spinach & lentils! The place was very hygienic and aesthetic, given the fact that it's a furniture & home goods store! And there was only one server at the counter. It also had self-checkout for ordering. That was convenient!! read more

Is it weird to go to IKEA just to eat? Well that's what we did lol. My wife's idea btw . She loves the meatballs. Yes, that's what she said. The people aren't particularly friendly there but the food is quick and easy and inexpensive. They even have special discount prices on Fridays. At least they do at the one in Vegas. Their dining area is actually huge. Kind of reminds me of elementary school cafeteria food but somehow it's very gratifying . They don't have a huge selection of food but we get the meatballs with mashed potatoes, the chicken tenders, Mac and cheese (my fav), and the cheesecake is pretty good. A nice place to just go and grab a snack when you don't know where to go and you just wanna kind of relax and maybe end up spending a lot of money on furniture and stuff lol. read more

The salmon tasted fishy and unremarkable and the vegetables were so overcooked they were shriveled up. We also had chicken tenders, not in a photo. The tenders were very dry. read more

It's easy to take things for granted when they're always around you. Like, IN-N-OUT Burger, Trader Joe's or Swedish Meatballs from IKEA. These businesses are not in Hawaii and they're just some of the places that everyone from Hawaii hits up whenever we make it across the Pacific Pond. We arrived at noon and there was no one in line. This IKEA is wonderfully designed and very clean. The kitchen was immaculate. The food was so good! After eating, we walked around and looked at the furniture. We were really wishing we had an IKEA after the tiny food and at how inexpensive IKEA is compared to any choice in Hawaii. Perfect for furnishing Airbnbs. IKEA would make Hawaii an even better paradise. So if you're listening IKEA... ; ) read more
Can't decide what to have for lunch ? Take a quick stop for some cheap eats here in Ikea! Ikea concept is so cute! Everything used in here is their own products of course. Very Cafeteria style Dining. The food is okay. It wasn't great but it also wasn't bad. The food fits Ikeas style ~ Meat Balls, Mash potatoes, Jam, Veggies. They had other options as well- Salads, Sandwiches, Chicken tenders. The Desserts were great! Not too sweet and just a little something after eating all that salty food. They have many options as well. Grab a glass and have a self serve fountain Drinks. The flavors for the drinks were Okay. Wouldn't Prefer but its there. After a great meal its always nice to walk it off & walk the whole Ikea just to see what they have. Anyways Always nice to come back- Can't wait till we move and actually get the buy things here. read more

My husband and I stopped in yesterday evening for dinner. It is set up cafeteria style. We looked at the menu board and decided to order their namesake Swedish meatballs and salmon with hollandaise sauce. Both came with matchstick size veggies-different types of squash, and some other side-it was delicious too. We ordered a plate of fries too. I selected a Ginger flavored drink and my husband chose Pepsi. The food was really good, hearty, filling and delicious. It was a must try and for everything we ordered it cost $23.00. We sat by a huge window for the view as night fell in Las Vegas. I love IKEA for their products/ furniture and now their food. I recommend trying them if you haven't already. read more

I just love the ambiance here. Super spacious, straightforward canteen style diner. Also I love pewdiepie and anything that reminds me of ikea tower. Lol. I think the food is alright, it is fairly priced. I thought they served Lingonberry juice? But I guess not- they just have coffee, tea, and the carbonated flavored water. Service wasn't really there but I think that's the appeal here at IKEA. I always try to eat here whenever stopping by, and I always get the Swedish meatballs with the jam and mashed potatoes. Also coming around sunset is the best. There's no one here and you get a nice romantic view. #brofist read more
My first time to Ikea, yes I know. I've been missing out. So of course with that, I had to experience it all including the food. To which we all know, I had to try the well talked about Swedish meatballs. The cutest dining area, with big windows letting in that natural light. Cafeteria style, they have little carts to carry your trays as you go through the line. Went with the Swedish meatballs & the pulled pork sandwich. Also got some fountain drinks, which wasn't your typical coke/Pepsi. It was their own version, so I got the cola, raspberry, & pear. Meatballs were good,nothing too special. Cooked perfectly, gravy was really tasty. They come with mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, & streamed broccoli. Cranberry sauce was a good touch as it was a good balance to savory of everything else. The pulled pork sandwich came with your choice of side. This one was just ok, all you could taste was straight sauce. Probably wouldn't get that again. Sodas were good, definitely not as much sugar as regular sodas, & ooo can't forget to mention that they have that good ice. But you really can't complain for the price. Heard good things about their breakfast & wanted to go today. But good thing I checked, I guess that stopped as the dining opens at 11. Hopefully they bring it back! read more

Very clean and organized! I didn't see anything posted about specials. The food was not hot enough, the fries were cold; and we got there at opening on a Thursday. The food was however, very delicious. The staff (in the restaurant) were not welcoming. That was a shock to me. But I will be back. And I have already told my friends. read more

Convenient, fair-priced, & quick. Located on the 2nd floor. Walk-up counter to order food from cafeteria worker, then pay at cashier, & find a table. Plenty of seating available-regular dining tables, high tables, & lounge areas w/ couches. A pretty nice spot to bring your laptop & get some work done because of the great 180º view of the mountains to the west. Good variety of food & drink options. read more
During our visit to IKEA we stopped for a light lunch at their restaurant area located upstairs. When you get there you just grab an IKEA cart as well as a food tray. Then proceed to the Cafeteria style line. Whatever catches your eye you tell the servers & they'll give it to you to sit on your tray. once you got everything you want you just proceed to check out. Right next to that is the very large dining area. It was very clean & extremely spacious. With huge windows to give you a nice view of the mountains & the rest of the surrounding area. Tried the chicken tenders, fries & macaroni which was all good. Seen some really nice pieces of salmon & veggies that I'll definitely try on my next visit. read more
