I LOOOOOOOOOVE this shop, three floors of cooking utensils, pots and pans, kettles, bakeware and…read morebooks. Guaranteed to get you feeling like Delia in your own home. Everything is pretty packed in and up so you will have to pick your way through. If you need something in particular there are a lot of staff on hand to help you find what you need. I particularly like their book section downstairs, which has a mix of new and classic cookbooks, and they also have a reasonably good baking section - although a little thin on moulds which is what I happened to be after but you can't expect them to have everything... They stock big name brands including Le Creuset, with an emphasis on quality (after all, you can pick up basic pans in Tescos if thats all you want). If you spend any amount of time in the kitchen then I recommend splashing pout on something good.

This shop may have the world's most unimaginative name, but it tells you exactly what you're going…read moreto be getting when you walk through it's doors: kitchen stuff. Spread over three floors there's enough to turn any woman (or domesticated fella) into Nigella Lawson. There's pots, pans, baking trays and books on everything to do with turning your kitchen into a housewife's paradise. The shop assistants are so helpful, which is great if you're feeling a bit lost. The prices, and quality, of the goods vary from budget to high end so you're bound to find something to suit your salary.

Other people here have mentioned the hardware store on one side (they mix Dulux paint which is very…read morehandy by the way) but I just want to mention the garden centre which is on the separate building across the pedestrian/cycle path (which reminds me - do note the different coloured bricks and cycle images on the floor and watch out for cycles). The garden centre is pretty well stocked for peripherals, but also has a nice selection of instant colour seasonal plants as well as some fruit and herbs for kitchen gardens. Their willows and topiary are a bit old fashioned and I would recommend going to a specialist nursery for trees (try Chew Valley Trees) but this is great for a gardening hit in town.

This sprawling department store feels like one giant throwback to the 1970s. The design is dowdy,…read morecome here after going to Ikea for a real shock. You'll hear very British muzak plays over the speakers, interrupted occasionally by an announce who kindly reminds you to validate your parking when paying for your goods. Quaint to the point of being weird, and also almost always completely empty. Enough of analysis of the style of the shop, I should probably tell you if it's any good. There are sections for homeware and DIY, as well as a garden centre. You can get more or less anything for the home, a few things you didn't know you needed, and a few things no-one would ever need. There's an entire row of various things for your milkman to leave the milk in, to give you an idea of the range. It's not that cheap unfortunately. I think all there costs must go on the staff (who are very helpful), of which there seem to be a greater number than there are customers most of the time.

Great high end quality products and service is good and friendly…read more Nothing in stock and delivery dates have never been met which is a shame and disappointing. Contact to inform us of this was zero, also disappointing as the products are not cheap. After a long delay when collecting products no apologies for lateness or inconvenience.

"AVOID - VERY BAD EXPERIENCE - OVERPRICED - AVOID !!!"…read more VERY BAD EXPERIENCE Bought shower enclosure and tray which are okay. The size could not be easily found anywhere. ********** PLEASE AVOID BATHROOM VILLAGE ******************* But the electric shower (Mira Escape) bought was £450. After order made, I realised B&Q is selling the same unit with a slightly high spec for only £300. Phone the salesman to cancel order (the unit has NOT delivered). He said it needs to be charged 25% of the £450 for restocking fee. It is very unfair to charge £112 for an item which has NOT arrived. So end up I was force to go ahead without cancelling the order for the electric shower. The shower is very very weak while turning on the full power. Phoned the salesperson, is not very helpful. Just offer me the phone number of mira and does not offer full refund. Total rip off will never shop there again. ********** PLEASE AVOID BATHROOM VILLAGE ******************* 25% restocking fee for refunding is totally ridiculous to consumer right. I just do not have the time to report this to Trading Standard. ********** PLEASE AVOID BATHROOM VILLAGE *******************
