I have never bought anything from here. The owners don't mind...at least i don't think they do- they've never said anything to me! They have a lot of good items in this shop, such as mattresses, bed stands, desks, wardrobes, and chairs...did i mention the chairs? They have the best selection of chairs around! The chairs are probably the best value itesms in the store. Everything else seems quite expensive comapred to similar items at Tescos or Ikea. However, we need to support the independants so i definately would reccommend giving Clearance Centre a visit. The owners leave you free to browse, and the majority of items are second-hand meaning bargains all round! Brilliant!

Staff are friendly too, so, for some cheap furnishings, this place is worth looking at.

It wasn't possible for me to go to the shop so everything was arranged with Ian on the phone and emails. The order was not straightforward due to involving a choice of fabric for the chairs and needing additional items such as safety bars and special bedding plus my decision to add a matching bed and chair for myself. Ian's knowledge and advice was invaluable and everything was delivered and installed very efficiently within nine days of my first enquiry. The chairs have been designed with tot many useful features for me to list here, I just recommend looking at The Bed Shop before considering other suppliers.

I believe it is a family run business, the staff are friendly, helpful and informative. We were advised to take a elderly relative and ended up buying for our selves as well. The care and time they took was amazing. Discussing all aspects of possible back problems, sleeping habits, weight, height etc. Their prices are really good value, much less than other comparable products. There is parking on site.

Everything is very thrown together in here, and I suspect that underneath that first layer of shelves, cupboards and tables, there are more shelves, cupboards and tables.. and maybe a lamp or five. It's an alright shop if you've got a really low budget for furniture in your house (students, take note!), and maybe you won't get the best design or quality, but I suppose they are functional and good for a temporary solution. Plus, a slick of paint can do wonders.

This is a great shop to wander around looking for a gift or just to spend some money! The prices of the electircals are cheaper sometimes than Argos. Since Argos is next door then it is well worth comparing the two. The staff are friendly and very helpfull. Sometimes they do a promotion that gives you a £5 voucher for spending a certain amount. The catch is you can used it within a certain date and never on the same day as getting the voucher.
