They were professional, personable, trustworthy, and true to their word. By the end of the project, they felt more like family than contractors. One thing that really stood out was how they prioritized our situation. Because we have dogs and frequent visits from foxes, coyotes, and other wildlife in our backyard, they moved our project up in their schedule to ensure our dogs' safety. That level of care and customer service is hard to find. We chose a beautiful gold wood-grain vinyl fence along with black chain-link fencing, and the quality of both products exceeded our expectations. The owner also took the time to show us the difference between his premium materials and the lower-quality products many competitors use or that are sold at Home Depot. Seeing the comparison firsthand made us even more confident in our decision. If you're looking for a company that delivers exceptional craftsmanship, high-quality materials, honesty, and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend them. Eight to ten weeks was projected work time frame. It actually took 13 weeks. We've had TONS of rain. All jobs were backed up. The installers showed up and did what they had to do. Easy peasy. I couldn't be happier with my Active Fence experience…read more I've been putting off getting a fence for three years. With a baby on the way, trashy neighbors living directly across my backyard and my rottweiler chasing the mailman for the 5th time (sorry!) I figured it was time. I got estimates from four other companies in late May. Mike at AF was the first to respond and come out for the quote. he also wore a mask which I appreciated. He was not the cheapest BUT he was able to install the fence earlier than all the other companies. I explained I needed it done before August when my baby is expected to arrive. He said it wouldn't be a problem as long as rain held off. Sure enough he got the fence installed in mid July. 50% down payment prior to the work beginning. Then paid the balance upon completion. I was also able to change my order to a larger gate when when he began the installation. Mike's staff worked quick and efficiently. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a fence.
