They finished the job in a few hours, and Dean asked if I had any issues with it, and I mentioned that it did no look great and I would appreciate it if they came back and made it look better. He came out himself about a week later and fixed it so it looked literally as good as new, and made sure I was satisfied before he left. I would 100% recommend to friends and family. Things not going perfectly is common for contractors. Fixing things when they DO go wrong is a lot more uncommon. 5 stars, and Dean is a stand up guy.

But I reached my…read morebreaking point when my neighbors' dogs kept using my yard as their toilet and left me to pick up after them almost daily. I called a few companies for estimates, but David the sales rep from City Fence was the friendliest and most helpful. He suggested I go with half vinyl/half chain link due to the size of my yard to keep costs down. Also had some other suggestions due to the extensive gardens I have in the yard. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive quote I received. After signing the contract, I was told it would be about 8-10 weeks (mid-fall) when they installed. They didn't get to my yard until January for the install and got 90% done within a week. Then- despite several phone calls to City Fence asking them to complete the job- they didn't return until April to put up the last few panels. And they only came out at that point because I refused to pay the final bill they kept sending me until the job was actually completed. Despite the fact that I love the fence and the installers did a great job, they're only getting 3 stars. Seems to be a real lack of communication between the sales reps and installers to let the customers know a realistic time-frame of when we can expect the fence to actually be installed. And then another breakdown between the scheduler and installers to actually get the guys to finish a job.

I spoke to other companies that flat out said they don't do repairs. The house was newly purchased and we needed to repair the fence and move the gates back ASAP to secure our dog. We shared this information with John the owner and he totally understand. The fence was repaired and the gate was moved back and secured perfectly. When it is time to get a whole new fence we will definitely call them. Their professionalism was 100% the work was awesome, and the communication was easy.

Installed 150' fence & posts with header to hang bench swing. They recommended and used 6'x 6"…read moreposts and 4" x 6" header for bench swing. After 6 weeks header began to bow down. I called and asked if they could change the header to a 6" x 6" post. I didn't expect them to do it for free and offered to pay something. The owner told me if would have to pay at least $750 for them to come out. - it's wasn't worth their time. WOW - what a way for them to stand behind their work.
