Agree with the other negative reviewer. Wish we had read their review before we selected Zak IK Yacht Design to do our project. This is the first time I have written a negative review of anyone, but felt I needed to share our experience and issues when dealing with Zak and IK yachts to help other people avoid making the same mistake we made using them. Zak makes promise after promise that he can't keep. He then avoids your calls or emails so you are left in the dark with issues still unresolved. Very frustrating. The project started out great, but quickly he started missing deadlines and not doing things he said he would do. On the cost side he is very expensive. In the end we had to have another firm finish up the stone work at our cost. They were much more affordable and professional and they did a much better job. He also bills for a lot of extras that are unjustified and without proper documentation. In summary, we paid more than we should have and were billed for unjustified extras and our project was continually getting pushed back and not completed anywhere close to what he had promised. We would never use him again for any further project. read more
