The store was still full of customers, and while I stood outside being denied entry, every person I saw leave the store was not a person of color (check the cameras). What makes this even crazier is how often I shop here. I spend good money at this dispensary regularly, so this was honestly shocking and disappointing. And before anyone tries the "the security guard was Black" response -- being Black doesn't automatically mean someone can't participate in discrimination against other Black people. But things don't seem overpriced here. They have a good selection, 1 thing I'd recommend is take cash if you can. While they do accept credit cards, they have a funky ass processing system. They charge you, I think $4 extra and you get $2 back in cash or something. It's a weird ass process. my guess is they ring it up like a ATM transaction and there's the fee's associated with it. And the other dispensary I go to is cash only, so using their ATM to get cash back works out to be more expensive. So having the option to use a card is a plus, and I believe they do have an ATM in the store. Also this is a "no shit" thing, but make sure you take your license and make sure it's not expired. I went last year and mine had just expired, the security guard was on top of his job and noticed and sent me away. He was nice about it though.

And that's all I wanted - the medicinal marijuana (5-7.5 grams indica for pain as needed, 8-12 grams blend for sleep) that's allowed me to discontinue five other medications permanently (three pain meds, two sleep meds, all of which don't help).. Not only did she call a manager, she actually brought out a big ol' scary security guard to scare me off. Not to worry - I will never go back, not even after my ID card arrives. Worst people ever!

Patient Beware - Powdery Mildew Clones…read more It's a shame to have your favorite and long time despensory stop caring about its patients. Budtenders are just there for looks and know nothing about medicine or clones. (That's every despensory in Cali tho) Was going to buy some clones a few weeks back but noticed powdery mildew all over the rock wool and on a few of the leaves that would easily destroy a grow if you do not know what it is. So I notified the bud tenders since there was no one to talk to that runs the place ever that these should not be sold since it would be a health hazard and a defective product at this point. They had no idea what powdery mildew was they said to me and would be taking care of it ASAP with the 3rd party company they use for clones (would not tell me who they get there clones from) Weeks later and still no change so patient beware if you want to deal with powdery mildew in your grow. I'll be notifying the health and human services and the BBB. This should not be allowed even in the gray market of despensories but that is what no regulation does sadly. Don't wast your time or money.
