The yogurt tastes better, perhaps creamier. Maybe it is the milk from the Dutch cows. The formula is simple. Pick your cup size and toppings. I went with a regular plain yogurt with fruits (strawberries, lychee, and pineapple). The fruits were so fresh and juicy. If you don't want fruit, you can also top your yogurt with nuts, coconut, granola, etc. The overall effect is refreshing with a mix of textures.

The place is really nice, clean and so bright, and it was full of happy kids with their families. As Italian, what I immediately noticed was the perfect queue: if you enter in a traditional Italian gelateria, everyone is in front of the servery (or whatever it is called) choosing and looking at the gelato varieties. Instead, reading the flavour and picking them from that distance for me is difficult :). Anyway, I tried pistachio and lemon, but nothing special for what I'm used to. I personally don't like when you, as a customer, could not taste a sample in a gelateria of what you'll pay for. That said, I don't mean that someone has to taste everything... Lastly, doesn't really matter the size of the cups or the ice-cream cone, because the gelato balls are similar and small for a final gelato not even so generous.. I'll give 3 stars, because I am.

My husband prefers their vanilla and stracciatella ice cream over all others because they use real vanilla beans instead of vanilla extract. It's not the best ice cream I've ever had, but it is pretty good. And they have tables and chairs and lots of room inside, so it will be a great place to hide out from the sun in the summer.

We've been there many times (because of my girlfriend, she seems to love it) and every time she, the Italian girl who works there, is up in our face asking if we know how it works. We say we do, she asks again, we answer again, she asks one more time and we answer one more time and then she starts explaining the whole process anyway. That is SO annoying!!! Moreover, if you stay there and eat your froyo, you have to hear her do this to EVERY. EFFING. CUSTOMER. That's not even the worst of it all... the worst part is: she shouts and yells EVERYTHING! This woman is amazingly annoying. My girlfriend loves this place and even she mentions how annoying she is every time we go there. That's not the only reason this place gets 2 stars from me. What also annoys me is that this place (in the beginning more so than now) actively advertises LOW FAT yogurt... which is bullshit because yogurt fats are actually good fats and can be very beneficial to a person, even a person on a diet. What they fail the mention is the crazy amount of refined sugars that is in the yogurt. Refined sugars are far, far worse than natural fats and the body treats them as poison (for example, check out "Sugar: The Bitter Truth" on YouTube if you're interested). The only reason I see for anyone to go here is the array of toppings they offer.

Also, you have to pay for every topping even though they present them like they are free. I had to pay 4,70 euros in the end. The ice-cream tasted fine, the toppings are also okay. So this is a decent place to get your ice-cream when in the neighbourhood. The stuff is also nothing special though and very pricey so I would rather go somewhere else next time. Like getting a few scoops at Haagen Dazs.
