I booked my appointment several days in advance for June 15 at 3:30 p.m. and specifically selected Danny because I had seen positive reviews about him online. The booking system gave me the option to choose my barber, and my confirmation clearly showed that my appointment was with Danny. I arrived at 3:14 p.m., 16 minutes early. I made an effort to arrive before my appointment because I respect other people's time and would never want to inconvenience a barber by showing up late. Unfortunately, that same level of consideration was not shown to me. When I checked in and said that I had an appointment with Danny, he told me that he was Danny, but that one of his barbers would be cutting my hair because another client was coming in for him. I was not notified beforehand by phone, text, or email. He did not ask whether I was comfortable with the change, offer me another appointment, or give me any real choice. He simply told me that someone else would take care of me because they had good barbers and a fade was easy. The other client did not arrive until approximately 20 minutes later. It honestly felt as though I was being penalized for arriving early. Since I was already there, I was passed to another barber while Danny waited for the client he preferred to take. I found that unfair and very unprofessional. My concern is not that a business has multiple capable barbers. My concern is that the website specifically allows customers to select a particular barber, confirms the appointment under that person's name, and then disregards the selection without advance notice or consent. If choosing a barber does not actually guarantee an appointment with that person, the booking system should clearly say so. I believe everyone deserves the same basic level of respect, regardless of who they are. You should treat the person cleaning the building with the same dignity and consideration you would show the CEO. I respected Danny's schedule by arriving early, but my confirmed appointment and my time were not respected in return. Juan ended up cutting my hair. He was polite, and the haircut was acceptable overall, but he appeared uncertain several times and asked another barber for guidance about what would look best. The front was not finished as well as I expected, and the overall result was not as detailed as haircuts I have received elsewhere. I paid $60 for the service and still left a $7 tip. The haircut itself was acceptable, which is why I am giving two stars instead of one. However, the way my appointment was handled was disappointing, unfair, and unprofessional. I booked Danny specifically, received confirmation under his name, arrived early out of respect for his time, and was reassigned without warning because he chose to take another client who arrived later. Grant was friendly, clearly a seasoned professional and did a stellar job with the slick back, 70/30 part, mid skin fade I requested. I gave a review 27 days ago saying how bad this place was. 27 days later the owner calls me a second time harassing me and my son. This second call he told my son to suck a (genital word) and calling us very explicit names. I truly don't understand how this "business" is so unprofessional. They do NOT value you or care for anything except their paycheck. This is extremely unprofessional and is sad because people deserve to be able to get a haircut to look presentable and speak up if it isn't right, except when I did speak up I got harassed TWICE. read more

My girlfriend and I needed a fade badly - as we had been on the road from California for a few weeks. The shop got us both in on a Thursday afternoon, walk in, and an actual proper fade. It can be hit or miss on some of the higher end barber shops, but both cuts were spot on. Fade was $35 and worth it. read more

Second time going here, first time wasn't horrible, but this is the most uneven haircut I have ever had, he completely shaved one side of my head and left the other. On top of if I did not even ask for a high skin fade, I asked for a skin-4 taper. read more

The Best haircut in AZ! I recently moved down to Tucson from Scottsdale. I've gone to about 10 different salons and barbers all in the nicest part of town up there, none of them compare! I'm extremely particular and on top of that I have very hard to work with hair. Anthony is terrible. I gave him clear specifications of what I wanted with pictures, how I style my hair, and the length I'd like. None of my specifications were met. He did not do what I asked with the back and sides, length was way too short and not the style I asked for. He also cut me on the side of my face and the back of me neck. When I told him I was disappointed he got defensive and claimed it was my fault. his rate is $35 and he charged $40 and expected a tip. DONT GO HERE By far the worst and most disrespectful barber shop I've ever been to and I'm not even a man! My boyfriend was charged for the full haircut when he was dismissed by one of the owners EMPLOYEES that next time there would be a late fee but this time I was excused because it was not explain since he was a first time customer. The owner was being very difficult and rude not trying to cooperate with us and why were we wrongly charged 9PM AT NIGHT when the shop isn't even opened.!! Owner then proceeded to tell me to calm down cutting me off mid explaining after he wasn't trying to cooperate with my boyfriend. I've been in customer service for years and that's by far the worst customer service I've ever seen. Owner obviously hasn't dealt with a upset customer a day in his life.
