I had ordered the same meal several times up in the Daytona area and it was about double the size. We went three weeks ago to this IHOP which is across the street from FIU. We sat outdoors with some huge fans close to us and it was very comfortable. We got excellent service and the food came quick and everything was nice and hot and it looked just like the pictures in the menu. Needless to say the food was delicious and the service was amazing. This place makes you pay just breathing, I ordered a stack of chocolate chip pancakes and it came out 10 dollars so then we asked the waitress 'why so much' and she showed us a menu that priced 4 pancakes at 8.49. I added chocolate chips to which is almost an additional 2 dollars to only 3 pancakes that they gave me. it's just really overpriced and not worth it. The bacon is super thin and the presentation was bad. When we got the check they added more money than what the menu said. Overall we were disappointed with the price. read more

I love ihop and the food is super good but the service here it's just terrible. They always have a problem either card doesn't work or Apple Pay. Servers are really rude for the most part and take years to bring your food. You can't order over the phone and they make you go there just to sit there for more than 40 minutes while they make your food. Worst ihop out there. read more

When we arrived the hostess took our name and never called it. She tried to pretend that she did so I got a bad impression but our waiter Anthony made this brunch with my family very pleasant he was very attentive and seemed to be going the extra mile for us. The food was cold but I have no complaints about the flavor. Because of covid they give you packets of hot sauce and ketchup instead of the bottle, which I wasn't mad about. My boyfriend got the French toast combo and everything tasted pretty standard. I got the mushroom and spinach omelette and although it was cold I cleared the plate. I also got a side of blueberry pancakes which were delicious. The toast was cold and burnt. I enjoyed seeing the outlet on the table. I might stop by again when on campus read more

My food was cold and the waitress disappeared. When she finally reappeared I had to ask for jelly for my toast and she left so fast, I didn't even get out what type of jelly I wanted to know if they had it. This was the last breakfast me and my freshman daughter will have together for the next couple of months. Very disappointed in the service and cold food. My mother and I came on a Saturday night. It was nearly deserted, with only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. There was no A/C during our time there, but it wasn't hot and we didn't mind. What we did mind was how bad the service and food was. It took 40 minutes for us to get two identical turkey dinners that looked and felt like they had been sitting out for a while already. I ate my food as I was starving and I hadn't eaten all day, but the food truly was bland for the most part with the stuffing being the saving grace. It took about 10 more minutes for our waiter to come back and check on us. We asked for the manager who explained that they were very busy with online orders. He was nice but that is just a poor excuse, especially when there was practically no one dining at the restaurant. I was warned by my cousin who came for breakfast earlier, stating that the wait time was very long. However, that's breakfast time where it is presumably busy. I wouldn't expect to wait 40 minutes and poor service at an empty restaurant. Shame because it's nice to have an IHOP only a few minutes away, but based on my experience and other reviews, we don't think we'll come back here again. read more

My favorite weekend breakfast/lunch spot. Yes - they are packed on the weekends and service sometimes is slow but once it gets to 11AM-1PM this place empties out and it's pretty smooth service. Every time I come here I want to try something new. The latest was the bacon and cheese chicken waffle (pictured). Holy cow. It does not look very appetizing but it was soooo delicious. By far the best chicken waffle i have had in a Miami diner. It was way better than i expected and I highly recommend ordering it. Other good options are the biscuit and gravy breakfast or the breakfast sliders. Cheese sticks are always great as well. As mentioned service is some times slow but most workers are students from FIU and it's probably their first job - a great learning experience so I always try to cut them some slack since they are still learning. read more

Ordered food, 2 of the 3 dishes came out COLD, not room temperature, COLD. The cheese in the dish wasn't even melted, just as is when it comes out of a refrigerated shredded cheese bag. We let the manager Arnold know and he took 1 of the dishes, left the other on the table. Our waitress Veronica then approached our table and asked if we just wanted her to "heat up" the French toast! Not even to get a fresh order made. Asked for a straw the moment I ordered my drink, never received one. Asked for ketchup, got an empty bottle. The third dish was decent but not worth coming back. The staff here all seem lost. They weren't apologetic, the manager avoided us after we told him he food was cold. Never came back to our table, didn't take care of us, nor gave us an explanation as to what was going on in the kitchen, after he told us he would. He never even tried to compensate for the terrible experience we had from beginning to end. Clearly they were in a rush to open this establishment that their staff didn't receive proper training. As soon as we arrived we had to wait for 15 minutes, and it wasn't until I waived down a waiter that we were able to be seated. The waitress was on her second day and although she did her best the kitchen was yelling at her regarding some mix ups that had occurred with our order. We all heard someone from the kitchen say verbatim "no more screw ups for the day". As we were eating our food some families were also waiting and never had anyone attend them so they left. The manager had told some staff members to go check the front as there were people in the entrance waiting to be seated yet no one went. Came here on a Monday night and there wasn't anyone to greet us in the front, no biggie, finally got sat down and our server came over within 5 minutes which we then put in the order immediately. My partner and I go to ihop frequently and were very excited for this location to open. I ordered Swedish crepes with a biscuit on the side and my boyfriend ordered the brunch burger with unlimited fries. The server then had to come back to confirm my order about 15 minutes after my order. The server refilled our drinks once in the beginning and once 30 minutes passed by and we still had no food and she never came back to check on us until she said in passing "your food will be out shortly, sorry for the delay". Our sever was constant weeded and slammed refills on not only our table but the table across from us as well. We waited even longer for our food and the server comes back to say my boyfriends burger is done but not my crepes...which she proceeded to mention it only takes two minutes.. so what happened? Finally after nearly an HOUR of waiting for our food, it arrives. However my biscuit does not. She says its coming. Also, my boyfriends burger contained raw onions, lettuce and tomato, which were not stated or shown on the menu (picture attached) and half of my crepes were clearly burnt to the point it was very difficult to cut into. The server also never came back to check on how are food was, let alone offer my boyfriend more fries (since her ordered unlimited) We both devoured our meals being we waited so long and the sever comes (in passing yet again) to tell me my biscuit will be out shortly. At this point I'm a bite away from finishing my food and I tell her to cancel it since I'm finished. She tries to convince me to take the biscuit since "I deserve it for waiting so long" even though the biscuit was still not in front of me. We ask for the check and she brings it to us...with the biscuit on our check!! We politely ask her to take it off and check us out. She says the manager has to void it. At this point, the manager and server should have been in communication as to the situation and the clear dissatisfaction on our faces. But no. We ended up paying and the server says that she's sorry they didn't expect to be "this busy" since they've only been open for two weeks (I mean why wouldn't they be since they opened across from a busy college campus on 107th and 8th street???) She then told us that the chefs aren't trained properly on the menu and didn't know what Swedish crepes were!!!! Now I don't know how accurate the information she gave me is but if her excuses are true, i am truly disappointed. My boyfriend and I are in the industry and have been for a long time now. This was unacceptable. The manager should have passed by to talk to us at the very least. We are finding it very hard to ever go back to this location. read more

I just went there at 2am and they deserve way more credit!! It was a husband and wife running the restaurant with one of their friends helping them serve and they were all super nice and welcoming. There overall is a shortage of workers so the kitchen might be a little slow but im just so thankful they're still open! Most places are closed after 9, but this place is the place to go after hours. It looks like there's a lot of people but the parking lot is just small and I think the workers park there so even if you think it's busy, if you have the time, stop in! When we asked for water, server was rude & defensive saying he was seating people & serving multiple tables. I acknowledged it was not his fault, but that I'm still a costumer. It's definitely not the fault of the costumers that your restaurant is understaffed. He continued to be extremely condescending. Then, he walked by our table loudly saying that "people have no consideration while seeing how busy he is." It was so uncomfortable. Very happy! First and foremost our waiter Richard was awesome he was attentive knew his menu and followed up with us to make sure we had everything. I went with my family and we all ate good. The milkshakes are amazing especially the Oreo one. We had the turkey sausages, pancakes, eggs, ham, hash browns, the bacon temptation and country omelette which are pretty big. We couldn't complain. Yes it's busy and we had wait alittle for a table and maybe the food however its Sunday morning everyone is going for the same reason to eat, it's understandable and well worth it. We were a Party of 4 Service was terrible the place was not that busy I had to get up and look for our server after waiting about 15 min. I saw a group of 3 women chatting and laughing the hostess was there so I asked the Hostess if we can please get some service she gave me the nastiest look as If saying "how dare you interrupt our conversation", so we got our server which was basically non-existent she took our orders and went back to her lovely conversation while we waited what seemed like forever maybe 40 min. our food came out cold of course, it had to have been sitting there for at least 15 min.
