They turned away our basketball team and cheerleaders at 9:20. They close at midnight. Server claims that they only had one cook. She also said that they only took large groups by reservation. We were asked if there were only 2 of is three different times, & still not seated. 2 dressed military gentlemen came in for Memorial Day & the manager had no clue if there was or wasn't a discount & did not take the time to see if there was. Or even offer one. Disappointing. I saw more employees than customers the whole time. At one point, when we were seated, the guy who seemed to be the manager was already sitting in the booth behind us ordering/eating with what looked like his family. I had stopped in once and placed a to go order after about 20 minutes the manager suggested that next time I call it in first, as I work in the mall and time is limited. Next time when I called, first phone had to ring about 30 tines before someone answered, then the girl says they don't take orders over the phone. After clearing that up I ordered the breakfast sampler, she asked what type of meat I wanted, I said it comes with all 3, she again asked what type of meat I wanted, no lie this happened 4 times! Finally getting that cleared up she says have a nice day....uh excuse me? I'm on the phone hiw about how much is it, finally get a price out of her and she say bye....again wait I'm on the phone, how long will it be....she replies 45 minutes to an hour!! I've ordered 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham and 2 pancakes and it's going to take 45 min to an hour??! For a to go order! I told her I didn't need a table just the food...her response "oh well". Yesterday I ordered a smokehouse special and requested charred smoke sausage and crispy hash brown, 3 eggs and pancakes..... What I got was charred eggs, soggy hash brown and slightly browned smoke sausage.... First I regret ordering an additional side of smoke sausage thinking it would be prepared the way I requested rather than the way the chef wanted to make it. Next my poor over cooked egg! If they were in culinary school and cooked an egg LIKE THAT I doubt they would've passed. I will give the pancakes props though! I'm giving a star for each pancake. But I'm going to need IHOP to tighten up their shot group on cooking everything else. And in the future, it would be nice to be greated by a hostess rather than awkwardly watch the servers watch me watching them while sitting in front waiting for someone seat me.... read more

My wife and I went to this location on a whim. The last time I set foot in an IHOP, my wife's grandmother was on the way back from the restroom and she bit my ear. Yes, that's weird. Sufficed to say, I hadn't returned to an IHOP until today. Well, I had been dreaming of Belgian waffles and decided that we must have some. We hit all green lights on the way on our ten minute journey as the fates smiled down upon us. We were welcomed by Damien who may be the best breakfast server I've ever encountered. Every time we thanked him, he'd reply with "my pleasure" and it seemed sincere. The waffles were perfect as were the eggs but the turkey sausage was a bit overcooked. Not so much that I was deterred from eating it. Excellent service, good coffee, nearly perfect food and it was very empty at 7:30 AM. Get your butts there now, do it! read more

I'm not much into franchise breakfast or food but I will go on occasion. I would have to say this is one of the best IHOPS I've been too. I was a little worried about the wait time and crowd but was pleasantly surprise how quickly I was seated with 3 people about 15 mins. The waitress was excellent even though she forgot my drink and I had to remind her. Not a gig in this case, my food was cooked to perfection and was served in a timely manner. I LOVE IHOP. And the food at this location is just as good. The problem? Customer service and management. There is never a person at the front to greet you - usually a waitress is yelling 'be with you in a second' while serving others. I've never had to do so much waiting in my life. The wait for food or the check is just as bad. Once I had to actually peek my head into the kitchen to alert someone that I needed to get my bill and leave. Service here SUCKS! Husband and I came here on a Sunday morning and were greeted by two employees complaining to whom I assume was the manager about another employee. As we were being seated, I made the mistake of asking the young lady how she was doing and she proceeded to explain in detail how sick she was. When I suggested maybe she should go home, she said, "Yeah, they said I should." I thought, so, why are you still here breathing over me?? The table we were sat at must have been right under a vent because it was freezing. When we asked the server if we could move because it was cold, she said, " It's cold everywhere on this side, but I'll follow you." Looking a bit lost because we figured she would lead us, we picked a table away from the window and against the wall that was much more comfortable. As she placed the menus down, looking very annoyed, she says, "we usually try to reserve these booths for parties of 4 or more, but I'll let her know up front." Then why didn't you lead us to an appropriate table? Don't have us pick one and when we do, tell us it's wrong! I was told by my family that we were going to IHOP to celebrate my 50th on last week. I was totally happy because I love IHOPS pancakes. Well, when we arrived; there were 5 people on both sides of the lobby waiting to be sitting. I thought that was fine because it was 11 morning rush. My mom goes up says, good morning with a smile the waitress that was taking my mom's name and number in group, was slouched over on the podium, looking like she didn't want to be there, had a very sarcastic mouth and said it would be a 20 minute wait. Huhhhh really! There's 10 people waiting already. We can clearly see on both sides of the restaurant there's no one at any tables, yet we are standing. I'm beyond mad trying to hold my anger remember it's my 50th birthday celebration. We wait and wait. The line is not moving; 6 more people come in. My sister and brother in law arrive, mom and I have waited 35 minutes now. My sister approaches the hateful witch of the West and she says, it would be another 40 minute wait. Huh, what, how, why, really this is totally ridiculous. Mind you all this time, no one is seated. People are leaving; waitress is hunching her shoulders. I'm furious! I'm the queen for the day; she is ruining my moment. My sister goes to her tell her to keep the table and a few choice words. If you have your heart set on the pancakes and other delicious fare which made IHOP famous, be prepared to be disappointed. This particular site may well be the gateway to pancake hell. From the ridiculously long wait for service until the order arrives at your table.... you will experience a level of service that can only be described as sub sub sub-par. When the anticipated flapjacks appear, they will be chilly, the sausage will be unrecognizable and there won't be a server in sight to replenish coffee, provide napkins or extra cutlery. The manager that wanders around and asks "how is everything" and then walks away while you attempt to convey that the meal is a disaster, the service is beyond bad and our fellow diners were not nearly as patient as my family. This iHop is actually really small on the inside. But when I went, at around 5:30pm it was rather empty. The waitress seemed really nice. I got my drink very quickly. My appetizer arrived very quickly as well. The appetizer was so much better than any other iHop I ever got it from. The chicken tenders were juicy on the inside, and it all was hot and fresh. It was really great. The main entree was decent. I ordered the steak tips breakfast. The waitress asked me what kind of eggs I wanted. I read on the menu that over hard meant from whites and firm yolks. So I ordered it. What I got was an egg pancake looking thing. Not what I imagined. But eggs are eggs, and as long as their cooked, I enjoy them. The server never asked me how I wanted my steak tips and I think this was important. My stake tips came out well done, but everything else was burnt to practically being inedible and the steak tips were not so juicy. I enjoy my steak medium rare, for the fact that it's juicy and delicious. I think the mushrooms and onions were burnt because I just could not eat them. The hash brown didn't look burnt, but it was also definitely cooked for longer than it probably should have. I had to use a knife to cut it up - this was the only time I've ever had to do that for a hash brown. I also got crepes. Now I do not fault this iHop for not putting anything in the crepes but rather on top of them. In fact, this is a chain-wide issue. iHop has no clue how to make fulfilling, delicious, and original crepes. I ate so much and all my food came out pretty quick that I got really full quickly. The waitress kept coming back every ten minutes asking if I needed anything and that I just needed to let her know when I was ready to check out. If I needed a refill I would have understood, but I didn't and it felt like she was trying to get me to leave. In the end, this place isn't terrible, but it is not the best of iHops I have gone to. I'lll probably go again at some point, maybe. But I am not deterred. read more

This location is awful. Service is bad, they tend to ignore you and when they actually finally wait on you, it is with heavy sighs, as if you are inconveniencing them. I ordered cranberry juice and French toast. They brought orange juice and were annoyed when I said I ordered cranberry. Then they bring my food - bananas foster French toast. I hate bananas!! So what do they do, take it back and scrape off the bananas. That still leaves the banana taste - gross. And you can't even get a manager to complain to. I would never go back to this place. We visited this particular IHOP a few days after it first opened at our local mall a year ago. We've eaten at IHOP all over the world and were expecting the same excellent food and service. It was crowded the staff was new. The wife and I patiently wait fifteen minutes for a table. The server came over and I asked if they served Eggs Benedict? She looked puzzled and said she didn't know and would check with the cook. She came back is a few minutes later and said yes, we serve Eggs Benedict. So I ordered Eggs Benedict and the wife ordered her regular French toast. The server brought us or drinks and we patiently waited about twenty five minutes and finally the food arrived. The wife's French toast was their typical fair. My order on the other hand was the strangest presentation of Eggs Benedict I've ever seen in my 70 years. The server brought me three plates and a small bowl. One plate contained two overcooked cold poached eggs. Another plate contained two undercooked cold slices of ham. The last plate contained two burnt slices of an English muffin and the bowl contained this pale yellow gook that was supposed to be hollandaise sauce. I looked at the assortment and asked the server what's up? She politely said the cook didn't know how to make Eggs Benedict and looked it up on Google. This is what he came up with. I told her that I appreciate their effort but I can't eat this cold concoction. She should have informed me in the first place that they don't serve Eggs Benedict. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet which was okay; at least it was hot when it arrived ten minutes later. Needless to say we never went back to this particular IHOP. read more

The food was delicious as I have come to expect from IHOP. The service was horrendous. I didn't mind the 10 minute wait to be seated. Our waitress was nice on the rare occasions she came to our table. It took her 10 minutes to bring out our drinks alone. I understand the restaurant was crowded, but even the other waiters didn't take that long. The craziest part was the hour long wait for our food. We witnessed those that came in after us get their food before us. Our food wasn't even hot! The only reason we didn't ask her to take it back was because it took us an hour to get it the first time, we were very hungry, and we didn't have time to wait. We had to ask other waiters for things because our waitress never came to the table. We tried to ask one waitress for something and she looked at us and walked away. When we got up to pay the check the lady at the register rolled her eyes while waiting for my friend to get her wallet out to pay for her meal. Food took forty five minutes to get then the order was screwed up. Next thing I know our waitress is sitting in a booth rubbing her feet talking about how bad they hurt. The manager then comes out and says he can't seat some folks in a spot in the restaurant bcuz there is a problem. He tells me that 30 minutes to get pancakes is ridiculous for any establishment. Stopped here last Friday 9/8/17, on our way to Maryland for my nephews funeral. Thought since it was @ 9:30 in the morning we could get in and out. Well, after 45 minutes the manager came to the table to inform us that our order had not gotten back to the kitchen (computer error or something). She said that she was going back and prepare our food herself. She did that and brought out our food after@ 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, our server never did come back to our table to refill drinks or say anything. Another table got up and left before getting anything. The food was decent but we won't be stopping here again. When we were leaving, the staff was just standing around the front and our server had an "attitude".
