I, twice, had a server here who took my phone order to either not get it right or not put it in at all so that when I arrived to pick up my food, it hadn't even been entered into the ordering system! After that last time, I sat in the restaurant & filed a complaint online. The VERY NEXT MORNING the new Mgr of this location phoned me. She apologized & made great strides to make it right & offered re-training for that employee. My experience after that w/this location was WONDERFUL! The service was EXCELLENT and so was the food! I'm a stickler for good customer service so, I was extremely pleased that the actions taken to rectify this situation were to my satisfaction. I think the word ghetto is overrated to describe underpaid black people working in a pancake chain on the Southside of town. The service in my situation has been mixed at this location but I'm not into calling our people ghetto or blasting the entire crew. I think this location could use some lessons from the Highway 138 location. Yes, the latter location does have better service but it takes speaking to management when things go awry. The service here is just as awful as the food. They are extremely rude at this location. A friend of mine told me that as I was parking my car to go inside but I tried to give it a try anyways. I am in the service Industry so I am extremely understanding. It took 30 mins for me just to check out, if I was grimey I could've really just left and not paid... none of them would've noticed. That's how much they aren't paying attention to the guest. Take your money elsewhere. I only took a couple bites of the food and couldn't stomach anymore. I just stood in line for 40 mins waiting on a call in order. Just for all of my food not to be ready. No cust service .....why

Awful with waits and seemed very unorganized like coworkers don't speak to the kitchen.

Last night I ordered some meals via Doordash and never received it. I assumed I may have ordered too late because they weren't picking up the phone and it was pretty late into the night. Today at around 8:30 pm I tried to order again and the same thing is happening. No one is answering the phone and no progress is being shown on my order. This is highly upsetting and I would hope they fix this issue very soon. read more

Still unprofessional, carried own a person conversation with the customers ahead of me. After she completed their order she left and did not come back. I have a slight problem with this IHOP. When I order NY Cheescake pancakes, its suppose to have chunks of cheesecake in the pancakes. Serving me pancakes with just strawberry topping and whip cream DOES NOT pass for NY cheesecake. Another important thing, just because I'm Black and this is in a Black neighborhood, do not assume I want bootleg videos/cds. Stopped by two Saturday's ago. Server was pleasant and knowledgeable. Food arrived fresh, quick and DELICIOUS!! Cheesecake pancakes and turkey sausage are always my "go to". Price was right. And the holiday decorations were a nice touch. Thanks IHOP! read more

Came in on a Saturday night service was horrible we waited to be seated for 5 minutes because no one was in the front.Then we waited 30 minutes until I got up and had to find a server to tell them my table of 3 existed. Ironically someone other than our server began serving us and put our orders in. Also received some flavored water since our cups were far from clean. A server named nakia (the manager i think) gave us excellent service after she realized that all of the servers had ignored us. read more

We arrived around 9:30am and waited roughly 20 minutes to be seated for an empty restaurant. Once we were seated we waited an additional 20 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order. Once she took our order she told us that the restaurant was out of bacon and actually out of a bunch of items. We politely told the waitress thank you for your time and that we understood that it was not her fault and would like to go elsewhere. Once we packed up our items the waitress who was a lighter skinned, plump, middle-aged, woman who told us that bacon isn't good for us anyway as to suggest that our weight and stature suggested we didn't need bacon. Had a server named Britney who treated us like royalty. The atmosphere in the establishment was nice. All of the staff seemed nice.

Pretty decent for an IHOP! Its newer & feels clean which is not always the case with these types of restaurants. Food was fresh & well done, and service was friendly. It was a little slow even though it wasn't packed but it was friendly & courteous. We definitely recommend Brittany the waitress also, tried her based on another review & she did not disappoint! Visited this location on 5/26. We waited an hour for our food to arrive at the table. The bacon on my father's plate was so undercooked, it was inedible. My toast was cold and my order was incorrect. When asked, the manager came out an offered a frustrated apology. My toast was later replaced on the lid of a to go container. Unacceptable! We did not receive a discounted meal for our inconvenience. Wow. Not a pleasant experience at all. My parents live in the area, but we will not re-visit this IHOP location anytime soon. read more

Called in a Togo order and got there they didn't even start making it till I got there... like what's the point in calling in a Togo order?

This is the worst IHOP in Atlanta. The service is ghetto the people of rude unprofessional and most of all they lack the proper decorum My Wish Stephen the dress people. I had to wait 10 minutes because nobody wanted to be at work everybody had issues it seemed as though everybody was on their menstrual cycle because they seem to be patted down with negativity and neglect. All I can say is I will never come to that restaurant again simply because it makes me realize that my people of all people treat us worse than anybody else in the world. I don't like the fact that they have people waiting unnecessarily because somebody is busy on the phone doing something stupid. It seems like all the women at that restaurant are ready for battle ready to fight not ready to serve not ready to be polite. Please tell management they need to shut down the place and hire people from South America because at least it will work hard for your business and hard for your tips there's no way I'm going to leave a tip at this place. Me and my boyfriend went there for Father's Day and received terrible service. First off we sat down and no one greeted us until 30 mins later when I asked some random server who our server was supposed to be. 10 mins after that here she come. You can tell she was new and didn't know the menu at all. But that wasn't the problem. I understand sometimes it takes time to learn. She took our drinks and then disappeared for another 30 mins! We obviously was her only table. Where she kept disappearing to, idk. We sat there hungry with empty drinks for almost another hr until first my boyfriend went to go find a manager and she said to him "y'all only been waiting an hr" NOBODY SHOULD BE WAITING AN HOUR TO GET THEY FOOD AT NO RESTAURANT! ESPECIALLY IF IT AINT BUSY! When he came back and told me that I was hot. I had to get out my seat to go find a manager to get our food out and it still came out wrong. Worst experience I've ever had at an ihop. Don't waste your time. And our server was the light skinned girl short curly hair. I wish I remembered her named. It started with an F. HORRRRRRIBLE!!!!!!! Sat in the front for 25 minutes before a hostess came to see how many people we had. we told her that we had 7 people . there were several open tables . the hostess said "hold on" and left for about 15 more minutes . after being seated we sat for 20 MORE MINUTES before a waitress came and got the drink orders. then she proceeds to say "just to let y'all know we out of bacon. and actually we outta a lot of stuff " we started to leave and we were very nice saying "thank you . we'll just go somewhere else. I went to this I-Hop a few days ago during lunch at work. I waited eight minutes to be seated even though several employees walked by me without even acknowledging me. Another family came in behind me and asked one of the employees to seat them. The employee was about to take them back first until I told her that I had been patiently waiting to be seated. Our server went to the family who came in behind me and took their order first. She apologized to them for having to wait to be seated and thanked them for their patience. First of all I was the one who patiently waited eight minutes to be seated, NOT THEM! They walked in and got seated immediately. When she took my order, she did not apologize for the delay or thank me for MY patience. She checked on me one time but checked on the family who came in behind me several times and catered to their every need. Needless to say I did not leave her a tip.
