What a nice experience! I called to schedule an appointment the following week, but Iggy was able to fit me into his schedule on a Saturday. He had to look high and low for an in-stock replacement tub spout in polished brass because my bathroom is that old. I had visited Home Depot and Lowe's to purchase one with zero luck. Who here has ever been fearful of their bathroom flooding or water (for whatever reason) not turning off no matter how much you turn?? Unfortunately this fear came true for us! Plumbing is something I never want to mess or have issues with but our time came for our upstairs shower. It all started with our shower/bathtub handle not turning so great. My husband figured okay let's tighten the screw so it'll grip inside better. This led to our bathtub running water for nearly an hour!!!! No matter how much we tried to turn the handle it wasn't gripping. We removed the handle and could not use any of our tools to grip the inner mechanism and then. True nightmare! We ultimately had to shut off our main water. That's when I browsed for a plumber on Yelp and within 5 minutes Iggy responded. He provided the estimated quote which we found was reasonable knowing that plumbing can easily rack up! Iggy simply asked for photos and even offered to come that same night if they had the part. We had two other plumbing companies some years back and recently also the City come out but couldn't find my home's front clean out. However Iggy's plumbing took the time and located it. I called at 9:00 Am and WOW same day response as mentioned. We had a small leak at the garbage disposal. Chris of Iggy's showed me photos of all the under sink issues and recommended repairs. Chris fixed all the issues to include a new garbage disposal and snaking the drain to open a clog at approximately 45-50 feet. He gave us a recommendation for ZEP a drain clog "preventative" product and an under sink mat that can catch up to 3 gallons of water for future leaks. Cleaned up and hauled away, my picky wife approved. Iggy's will be our "GO TO" Plumbers in the future as needed. read more
