This tiny little store is NOTHING like any other Kroger I have ever been in. It is so small you can…read morenot move a shopping cart thru the store without running into another customer, especially in the Produce where you have to wait for others to slide their cart to the side. The new Dollar Stores are larger in size than this Hole In The Wall. They have NO Fresh Fish, NO Fresh Meat Case & do NOT carry items other Kroger stores carry. Customers line up in the Aisles waiting up to a half hour to ring out & everyone complains but do they ever complain to management....NO! I do NOT feel sorry for the customers as long as they never complain to Management. Only by Word-Of-Mouth will they ever put in a NEW store. The above is why I sometimes go to Walmart to get what I want!

We decided that was too much to do on the side of the road so we picked up a container of southern style egg salad. We decided they wouldn't believe that we made it homemade because we are traveling right now so we just brought a container of egg salad. They loved it.

Mrs. K. and I are big fans of the ALDI chain for inexpensive (not cheap!) groceries. Having shopped…read moreALDI for years across the USA in 20 states from Buckeye AZ to Detroit MI, I am familiar with the system. You'll need to bring a quarter to release your shopping cart (which you get back when you return the cart), you'll need to bring your own shopping bags (or buy one from ALDI) and you'll be bagging your own groceries. Easy enough if you understand that it's all to keep the prices as low as possible. Bread, fresh produce, dairy, frozen and even beer/wine with an excellent meat selection (as cheap as it gets) and lots of it. This store was clean, well stocked and very clean. Our shop didn't take long as we're just picking up snacks for the trip and a few things for light meals. Five stars! [Review 271 of 2025 - 287 in Kentucky - 23834 overall]

I was in Kentucky store today and I truly witnessed something horrific. I was standing in line…read moreand heard a commotion. I looked over and saw two ladies in line and the cashier was screaming at the second screaming at her telling her she should not have put up her groceries on the belt because the first person had not put up all of hers yet, but she kept screaming at this poor lady. It was truly horrible, and I felt for the lady being screamed I felt for her first hand because the employee that was screaming at her actually screamed at me one time and I had to speak to the manager and nothing happened. I don't know what the name was she had brown reddish maybe in a ponytail. The lady being screamed at looked at her with tears in her eyes and said could you please call your manager and she screamed at her and said I am the manager why do you guys not train your employees to be nice to customers they are what pays your check. I was this lady that got screamed at. I saw the customer being screamed at walk away to avoid further confrontation. I don't know what happened after that because I and went outside, but while I was outside, I saw this lady out crying her eyes out and I just thought what a shame I will from now my groceries elsewhere because I refuse to go in somewhere that lets their employees abuse their customers I hope that employee was fired. That's what she deserves but I'm sure that's not what she's going to get. I just wonder how many times she's been complained on before.
