Had a terrific grocery pickup experience at this Walmart last week. I had a huge order for a week…read moreof house-sitting nearby and my car was loaded with personal belongings, my dog and I! I popped the liftgate in back and hopped out when I saw the person coming over. He was able to get all the bags in the open space, neatly, and even set aside my bread and eggs to put up front with me. Every piece of food was nicely chosen, properly wrapped and bagged. He was polite and quick. Great job, WAL-MART pickup!

When he prepared my crab legs he wrapped the package only once. I placed in my cart thinking that was thin. A few minutes later i winder why my 12pack can boxes were wet, as well as my clothe shoe. I don't know what has happened at the store, but there has been a steady decline overall. We have stopped in several times over the last few years to pick up sale items in their weekly ad. There have been instances where I look and look for the items and can't find them. When I ask at the service desk I'm told: We don't carry those items here because we don't sell enough??? Now the latest problem; the pharmacy is basically non functional. The pharmacy closed their drive thru and put up a sign informing they don't have enough employees to operate the drive thru. Now they no longer text you when you have a prescription to pick up. Also, they will not answer the phone. I recently had a dental procedure and was prescribed an antibiotic. I never heard from them so I tried to call more than once. They never answered. I called the prescribing doctor and was told they had to leave a message. I had the doctor send the prescription to the Kroger on hwy 62 in Jeffersonville. When I picked up my prescription at Kroger, I asked what has happened at Jay C pharmacy. I was told the pharmacy employees all walked out. So I guess people like us are just left hanging without a word from Jay C or Kroger. (Kroger owns them). Now I understand why this store has degraded.

Be careful if purchasing items that appear to have been opened, many times the returned item is incomplete or broken. The store does not do a good job vetting returns an often puts sub-standard products back on the shelf.
