I took my husband to iFLY for his birthday and he loved it! Some useful points: 1. Make sure you wear sneakers! 2. Make sure you go in an hour early and are on time. 3. There is only one chamber - so only one person flies at a time. 4. You have to take off all of your jewelry, so it might be better to leave it at home - but they do have lockers. 5. You will most likely drool on yourself at some point - it gets hard to keep your mouth closed. Normally each flight lasts about a minute, but I bought extra minutes when I made the reservation and it was well worth it. Each one of our flights lasted about two minutes, and it was very helpful because the more you stay in the chamber the more comfortable you get. The instructor stays with you the whole time and makes sure you're safe. Our instructor's name was Garet; he was really nice and gave great guidance. He made us feel very comfortable. The last 30 seconds of our second flight, we got to do the "high fly". You basically go all the way up and all the way down a bunch of times with your instructor to get the real skydiving experience. My husband got it for free because it was for his birthday, but mine was $10 extra. It's worth it, because it was the best part of the experience. I'm giving iFLY only four stars, because the staff downstairs was incompetent. They did not know how to communicate, especially with people who have not been there before. I had bought two printed pictures with our package, and it took us three trips upstairs to get them printed because they did not know how to give proper instructions for something that was so simple. They kept omitting information, like the fact that we needed the picture numbers from upstairs in order to get the pictures printed. So, I have seen indoor sky diving. I have never been outdoor sky diving for that matter either. But the indoor sky diving seems lightly less deadly if you screw up, so I decided to go for that. I bought the "flight" online. Could not have been easier. I was actually pleasantly surprised that you get two flights for the price of entry. Kind of cool. The web site was super easy to navigate, and I found a coupon online, which made it even better. Oh, and definitely fill out the waiver online. Makes it faster and easier when you get there. You need to show up about an hour early to check in. But once you do, you have some free time. Watch other people doing their flights. Really entertaining, and not for bad reasons. But rather because its so much fun to live vicariously through them. And watching the flight instructors is even cooler. Serious, these guys know their shit and make it seem absurdly easy. It's not. But man, it's fun. Oh, and when they offer you the "hi-flight" option for 10 bucks in order to go higher and faster at the end, take it! No joke, it is totally worth it. Trust me on this. They put you through a really basic and non-painful training to start. It mostly consists of what to do when they give you various hand signals to get your body position correct. Seriously, this is really safe, so the training isn't too bad. Then you gear up with a flight suit, goggles and helmet. Everything is provided. No stress here. Then you wait a bit, then go fly. Yeah, it seems a bit expensive to get like two flights for the price. But it is actually totally worth it. You get to go into the wind tunnel and practice your position a bit. The instructor is there to make sure you don't screw up. Don't worry, you'll be fine. The will actually make nearly everyone look nearly like a pro. It's not, it's them. Sorry to tell you that, but it's true. The instructors are great. I saw one (Matt) work with a kid who had the body control of an epileptic manatee, and still made him look like a Russian ballet master. That's professionalism. Once everything is said and done, they get you out and done. Yeah, they will offer you some upsell options for future flights, t-shirts and such, but I did't feel pressured at all. I'm seriously considering putting together a team building event for my staff. Yeah, that's how fun they made it. Great staff, great facility and great time. OMG what can I say about this place, simply AMAZING. So much fun & enjoyable. We had a good time. Once we got checked in we were able to watch the other ppl inside the big tube. It was funny watching some of those ppl but they didn't mine. You have a small training video session you have to attend before you do anything. The experience was amesome. When you first go in that wind hit up & you have to get adjusted to it quick. If you are prone to nose bleed then this might not be for you. Corporate needs to make sure POINT of SALE downstairs are as friendly as instructors upstairs. To the skydiving....experience isnt worth your time and money if you dont pay to GO UP HIGH with the instructor......thats the apex of the experience. Its physically intense. Initially, the wind speed is so strong, you hesitate to breathe. Just inhale. Our experience (me, wife, 10 yr old, 7 yr old) was great because we were fortunate to get Russ as our instructor. I went as part of the Chamber community invite when they first opened. I have gone skydiving before and thought this would be a good experience for comparison. There was very little wait involved. Our class was seated in a small room upstairs watching an instructional video (learning proper form and hand signals). You understand what to do (in theory) but I think in practice it takes a bit of adjustment. We went up in the chamber a few times and the last one was the most fun. For a thrill and adrenaline rush short of freefalling from 13,000 feet, the Ifly indoor skydiving is the right place to be. Situated in busy financial district in Rosemont, Illinois the location is excellent since it is close to a major highway, O'Hare international airport, restaurants and of course shopping. I perfectly know well the adrenaline rush and euphoria of freefalling and skydiving since I had several jumps myself. However this is for my 8 year old who likes to experience the rush of skydiving. The facility is excellent in following and conforming all existing safety regulations. Russ, is one of their excellent instructor and good with kids. The only drawback is they don't accept walk-ins. I just wanted to say thank you to the entire staff of ifly. Jim and Danielle were amazing to work with and help us put together an amazing last hoorah for our out if town guests. The process was simple from start to finish. If you are coming for the first time sign your waivers online to save some time so when you arrive you just let them know your name and info is right there. The instructors were amazing and helpful to our group and explained everything very detailed and communication during the process was easy. They let you observe the experience and it's so much fun to watch as well. I highly recommend this for all ages I will definitely be back again next time with my husband for the perfect date night without the kids. We heard about iFly before it opened when we drove through Rosemont last winter. Later on in May, I called them up to plan a flight experience for my wife's birthday. Hilary gave me a call and informed me that although the facility was running, it was only open to professional skydivers before it opened to the public, which she thought may or may not happen in time for the birthday. Hilary kept me up to date on the progress of the public opening up until a few days before, and thanks to her greatness (and my persistence, I'm pretty sure) when she got approval for us to be the FIRST public flight! What!! We showed up, met Hilary and the team in person, suited up, and had an incredible experience that truly felt unlike anything else and a total rush...you know, without the life-risking part. Had a good experience, but was annoyed with timing. When you book at 1 pm. You basically get trained at 1 pm but you won't fly until 1.30 pm. Then you have to wait until your entire group flies so in our case 13 x 2 minutes so by the time we had our certificate it was 2.15 pm ... for a 2 minute experience booked for 1 pm. We came early as we anticipated some kind of explanation and time to get ready, so spent nearly 2 hours inside ... could be communicated better in my opinion. Super fun! I'll go back! It's not scary, not very difficult if you pay attention to instructions, and it's worth showing up early so you can watch others go before you in order to take notes about how to do it right. Here's the useful info: 1. Wear athletic gear, like sneakers, running/yoga pants, t-shirt, etc. 2. When you move in the tunnel, do it slowly - subtle movements result in big changes! 3. Legs straight makes you go up, legs bent makes you go down, hand tilt changes your direction of spin, chin up oddly makes you go up or down too, and is important when trying to keep an eye on the instructor. Also, try to keep your legs from moving too much, as it greatly affects your overall movement. 4. 2 minutes in the tube is rough on your muscles! A typical "real skydive" isn't that long, so be judicial about how many minutes you spend in the tube, as 6 minutes = possibly sore the next day! Pay attention to their initial training video, and watching others before you fly is also a great way to learn! You'll have fun, and the staff at iFly from the front desk to the instructors are all excellent folks who really love what they do! ~Huzzah! read more

Absolutely incredible!!!! I had been procrastinating about doing this for years. Either the time wasn't right or the money wasn't available. My boys and I capitalized on the moment and engaged. The heart was racing as The anticipation grew. Watching the other flyers was amusing. The time came to put up or shut up! Training class was a breeze and the test remembering what we learned when the time came. We opted for the extra $10 to fly high. It was definitely worth it. Trevor was our flight instructor and couldn't have made us feel more at ease. The time to enter the tube and of course I had to be the first one to enter. Keeping my apprehension at bay and showing strength with my boys I relied on the training and went all in. The feeling was amazing. The thought of actually flying was so incredible. I finished the first round and couldn't wait to for round 2. I was giggling like a little kid. My inner child got the best of me as I watch my boys experience the same thing. Each of them coming back with awesomeness stretched across their faces. Round 2 came up and the wow factor was elevated. At this point I was completely committed and comfortable. I would give this place less than a star if I could. Our instructor (Tyler?; if I recall correctly, it was a while back; late Oct of 2018) was rude and unprofessional (mocked my friends choice of wearing a mask, he had trouble breathing w/o one). Furthermore, on the end of the second round of skydiving (when you grab the handles and get "assisted" down to the standing position); I was pulled down in a forceful manner, and I felt/heard something rip in my right shoulder. I don't know exactly what that tore, however, I am still having pain and am not 100% in my right shoulder even today (2/17/19). I can't say for sure that it was not a (careless) accident; but I felt that it may have been intentional. Either way I was left with a shoulder injury; which I did not have coming in. I don't have a history of shoulder injuries either. He insisted that I came in with an injury, which is not the case. You sign waivers prior to skydiving (what am I supposed to do after the fact?)- I would be very careful about "flying" here, especially w/ Tyler. Beware. read more

This was a totally cool and one of a kind experience! The people working there were very nice and extremely helpful. I use a wheelchair and I felt well taken care of by these guys. The bad: It was impossible to find. We drove around a lot; we could see the building and just couldn't find a way to the parking lot. There was a long wait. Once you've done laser tag, paintball, war games and of the other common activities, you might find yourself looking for something unique. This is it! We went as a group of 9 for my buddy's birthday (instead of jumping out of a real plane) and it was really fun. The first time you feel like a fish out of water, but by the second round, the fun quotient goes WAY up! And you DEFINITELY want to do the higher height, trust me! The session ends with a quick show by the instructor, who did tricks I thought I would only see on TV. Our instructor (Jay) was super helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. All of the staff people were welcoming, warm and confident (so you don't have to be). It's definitely something I'll do again! read more

I went online to schedule our flights about 3 weeks before I wanted to take my husband for his birthday. I was very surprised to see that most of the day time flights were already booked up. That left early in the morning (9am) or late into night (10pm). So, I guess book early? The website and email confirmation all make it very clear that you are supposed to be there one hour before your scheduled time. You have to complete a waiver, but you can do so beforehand. There is even a function on the website that if you are organizing a flight for a group, you can email out everyone the link to the waiver, and they can complete it beforehand. We did our waivers before we got there and once we checked in, we were told to go upstairs where we could watch a group doing their flights. I didn't mind a ton, but there really wasn't a reason you had to be there so early. You just sat there watching other people go. About 15 minutes before our time to go, we were led into a smaller room to watch a safety video and learn the basic hand signals instructors might give you (they have to communicate with signals because you can't really talk once you're in the flight tunnel) - legs out, legs in, chin up. OK, seemed easy enough. We were led out of the room and given flight suits to put on. I'm short, and mine seemed huge, but I was assured it was the proper size. At this point, you have to take off every piece of jewelry and put away any personal items you brought. There are free lockers to use. When the group ahead of you finishes, you're led into a pre-flight area, where you sit on a long bench and go into the flight tunnel once at a time. I sat myself at the end of the line and watched the people ahead of me. My husband went before me. He's very tall, and had a bit of an issue keeping straight at first. he caught on pretty quick though. Most people did, except one lady who was just flailing about and looked petrified the entire time. I definitely thought the same thing would happen to me, but I actually was able to keep myself pretty straight. We all did two flights each, and at the end of the last one, the instructor grabs you and up you go! I wasn't expecting him to do this (I had actually said no when asked), but he took me anyways. It was a really weird feeling, but in the end, I was glad I did it. At the end of everyone's in the group's flights, the instructor puts on a show of his own, doing really cool tricks in the air. You can tell he's quite experiences as he shoots up and down, doing flips and turns the whole time. It was neat to see. Since it was for the hubby's birthday, I bought a package that included videos of our flights. It probably wasn't necessary, and honestly, you'd probably be better off bringing a non-flying friend with you and using your phone. Same thing with photos - just have someone take one of you with your phone. Flight instructors do not expect to be tipped, but it is a nice gesture. I found out that there is typically a $10 charge to do the high flight at the end (I wasn't charged for mine since I said no), so we tipped our instructor for it. I'll end by saying that I'm a huge scardy cat, and was very nervous while waiting to go up on my flight. Once you're in the tunnel, it doesn't really feel scary to be flying since you're concentrating on body placement. Plus, they let little kids do it, so how bad can it really be? When my friend told me that she wanted to go indoor skydiving this weekend, I was originally opposed. We paid around $70 per person and arrived about ten minutes late, but they were nice enough to still let us in. The girls at the front counter were very nice, but I ended up being even more opposed after having driven 6+ hours that day. I came in with a terrible attitude. The suit fit funny because I'm short and slightly overweight. The earplugs wouldn't stay in and the goggles were very tight. I was not having any of it, but our flight instructor completely turned my attitude around. His name was Trevor and he was was very cheerful and pleasant, even cracking a few jokes. After taking us back into a small room and having us watch an informational video, he gave us clear instructions on how to successfully sky dive, showing us hand signals that he would give us in the wind tunnel. We exited the room and suited up. Once it was our group's turn, we waited in a closed off glass seating area surrounding the wind tunnel, each of us taking turns, one by one. Once it is your turn, you are instructed to stand in front of the door and let yourself free fall into the tunnel. You skydive for around two minutes, although it feels much longer. The wind catches you and your instructor guides you, helping you hover in midair, helping correct your posture with the hand signals I mentioned before. It was definitely an experience I have never had before. The wind coming from below creates immense pressure on your limbs and you have to relax and focus on your breathing, otherwise you will have the experience I did. On my first turn I couldn't catch my breath. It doesn't help that I have asthma. After that I just lost control of my limbs. Trevor helped me out of the wind tunnel and asked me if I was okay. I explained the situation and he told me I just needed to relax. On my second turn, he got a different helmet for me- one where my whole face was covered so that I would not have to worry so much about my breathing. This might not have seemed like a big deal, but it was a big deal to me! It made my experience SO much better. I was actually able to enjoy it. One more thing that I would like to add is that you could pay extra for your instructor to spin with you...just do it. It's worth it. Overall, I would DEFINITELY return! It was an awesome experience and they have amazing customer service! We also got a voucher for free videos of one of our two flights! Oh, and don't forget to tip your instructor :) not required, but they deserve it! read more

For the past few days, my Dad told me he had a surprise for me on 8/15/14 and to be ready at 3:30. Well, I had no idea where we were going but he told me to wear a t-shirt, shorts, and some lace-up gym shoes. Upon arrival, we input our info and we were sent up to the floor where the flying was. We were told that someone would yell when our 'class' started. 4:30 came around and our class started promptly. Our instructor told us we would be watching a video giving us our instruction. After the video, he returned and had us so a little demonstration. After, we went and got our gear on. My favorite part was they did everything efficiently and made sure we were all comfortable and safe. Major points on that one. It was finally my group's turn...I was 4th in line...that meant only 4 minutes until it was my turn! I was a little scared at first but then I thought, "What am I scared of? This thing is safe...You're not actually skydiving right now, Jacki...calm down." My turn... You just sort of have to jump in and so I did just that. In one word it was... exhilarating! I got the hang of it pretty quick and really enjoyed it. The second time in, I sort of forgot how to breath...that's one thing that if I was able to, I would knock off a half star... in the instructions, they didn't really talk about how your breathing should be. Not even a mention that you should just breathe normal, it would have been helpful. I just freaked out for a second while in there a second time and as a result....I got spit all over my cheek! haha All of the staff was helpful, polite, and friendly. Just how it's supposed to be! What a fun experience! I loved every minute of it. I have gone actual skydiving multiple times at SDC and its phenomenal time but iFly chicago is so close to home and about 3 times cheaper than the actual thing. Fixes your adrenaline urges right away. Sure you dont get to experience the jumping off the plane, the freefall and the scenery (as it is beautiful and completely natural over there) but its still a great experience. The good news is that even kids can do it. It is so safe, you can't hurt your self if you tried. Went there on a Wednesday night. Our appointment was at 830 and we were told to go there at 730 for the class. I am not sure that we needed to be there that early as the class was only 6 minutes long but it was fun to explore the place and see the previous "fliers" and the instructors have their turn. Many previous reviewers complained about the time. I can't say the same. Russ our instructor told us that we were going to be on time. And that we were. Our flight time was 830 and we were in the cylinder at 833. He was so informative about the flight, the gear, and was even more concerned about my multiple injuries than i was. He checked on me several times. When I was reading the reviews one fellow yelper suggested we get the high flight. I am so glad we did. The instuctor takes u up high several times and spins you around. It was a fun time. We are going there In two weeks as a bday present for me from hubby. Cant wait! read more

I had been wanting to try indoor skydiving for years before it was available in the Chicago area, and just recently I finally got to try it out for the first time at the Rosemont location. We arrived as recommended about an hour before flight time and checked in. I recommend filling out the waiver online so they have your information ready to go when you get there. Next you go upstairs and see the wind tunnel! It is quite an impressive sight. There were many people there already, some in the tunnel, some watching, some getting suited up etc. You will be able to get an idea of what it will be like from watching the other groups. About 1/2 hour before your flight time, you and your group watch a quick introduction video with a little bit of training from your instructor. Luckily there is not a lot you have to remember for your first time other than the flight position, a few hand signals, and how to get in and out. Next you go to get your suit, helmet, and goggles. They have regular helmets as well as full face helmets for an extra fee. I went with the full face because I wear glasses and then you don't need the goggles. Also they provide earplugs because it is noisy in the wind tunnel. They have free lockers to store your things as well as a place to hang up coats if needed. Once everyone is suited up, your group goes into the outer edge of of the wind tunnel and one by one take turns going in with the instructor. I tend to get nervous easily but for some reason, I was not too nervous about it. When you first look in, it can be kind of intimidating because the tunnel goes very far down and very high up. There is a net at ground level. It is very controlled so there is not really any danger. When it was my turn, I just went for it. You lean in and the next thing you know, you are up and flying with your instructor. It is very windy and intense as the wind speed is about 100mph. It is a little noisy but not as noisy as I thought it would be thankfully. For the first time, I was just trying to stay level and center. It is kind of hard to know if you are doing a good job while you are in flight. The instructor helps stabilize you and gives you signals such as "keep chin up". Overall it was not a scary as I thought it would be, but it was definitely intense. Also before I got in, I was a little worried because it seems like everyone will be watching you, but once you get it, you don't even think about that. The flight time goes for about one minute. Everyone gets another turn and on the second flight time, you get the option to go much higher if you choose. The first flight, you pretty much stay in the 5-10 foot range, but with the 2nd flight, you can go up 30-40ft. Initially I did not want to do the high flight, but my friends convinced me to do it. It was worth it. Even as someone who does not like heights, it was still a great experience! After everyone in your group has had their turns, the instructor goes in to put on a little show of their own. They are amazing! It is incredible how well they can control their flight and do all kinds of tricks! During the flights, they record video and pictures of your session which you will be able purchase with your session or afterward. The videos are pretty cool and a great way to see your flight! Overall the experience is not cheap, but it is definitely something that is out of the ordinary and worth trying at least once! read more

We were there the day it opened. We were checking out all the places around the square (the german brewery, Toby Keith's, Lucky bowling, Mexican restaurant and had heard about this place so we stopped in. They had just opened and were about to give a demonstration of advanced techniques in the chamber. It looks amazing. One of the instructors said the time in the chamber is more than you'd get in a normal skydive so skydivers come there to get experience without the time limit and preoccupation with having to pull the chute. If I could give iFLY 3.5 stars I would. It was a great experience to try, and our instructor was so nice, but it's just not enough time to do much more than feel like you're drooling on yourself. The problem is unless you're coming every weekend I feel like every time you come you'd almost be back at step one trying to remember what to do. Even the 10 or so minutes between my first and second minute out there I had to keep reminding myself what to do. I didn't pay for it, so I want to give it 4 stars, but knowing the price of it is why I lingered on the 3-3.5 star level. If you have the money and the time, this could be amazing. And it was a great experience. It's just hard to capture the experience in the two short one minute intervals you get in there. I will mimic what other's have said and will say that it's worth paying the extra money for the instructor to take you up high at the end. read more

A great experience! If you want to spend anywhere between 69.99 - 119.99 to fly in a tunnel several times it is pretty fun and difficult(well for me). When you check-in there you are reserved a time to come back. (Notice: there are several bars and restaurants to choose from but do NOT drink *heavily* cause they will forfeit you to fly and there Is no returns, once you pay you are locked in to fly) they usually give you a two/three hour gap before you start flying. read more

Bought a 5 people family package with my friends and everyone had a great time. At first I was very nervous, but after watching the groups ahead of us do it it was clear that the equipment is well monitored and the instructors are super experienced to take good care of you. The instructors also do a showcase at the end of each 30 min session where they show off all of their cool moves in the tube (flipping, twirling, shooting themselves up and down at insane speeds) and it's really mind blowing. When it was our time we were called in for a brief training session, geared up, then lined our for our "flights." Each person was give 2 flights. The first one to get accustomed to "flying" and learn how to stay in the proper position, and the second one where the instructor takes you on a super awesome twirling session. The flights are only a minute long each unless you pay extra, so while fun the experience was very brief. I guess it makes you want to come back again! The only hiccup we had was that my boyfriend's video clip for his flight didn't get captured (a free video is included for each person), but the instructor just let him go on another flight. Now all of us wish our video didn't show up either haha. read more

Really awful customer service. I planned an event a month out to celebrate my daughter's birthday and booked several other events around our flytime. I even called to confirm all the timing details of my reservation before booking 3 other activities around it. 6 days before I got a call from Danny at the facility telling me they can not honor my booking. I had to drag an explanation out of her - basically they have had issues with their staff. No apology, didn't feel she needed to explain and unable to make it right, really disappointing!! read more

Suggested this as one of several possible corporate outings, and this won the vote. Smoother experience than expected. Basic orientation video/talk. Quick suit up, quick fly, quick wrap up. It gets a bit warm/steamy while in goggles and helmets and flight suits, but that goes away pretty quickly in the chamber. Instructors enter the chamber and guide you through flight 101; there is a $10 option for the "high fly" where an instructor spins you and takes you up the height of the chamber. This left me a little dizzy, but it was worth it! The basics are easier than I thought they'd be, once I stopped moving my legs opposite to what the instructor was telling me. As someone who sits in front of a computer all day and has bad posture, I was worried about my neck complaining about the position you need to be in, but that ended up being zero problem. Also, at least for basic flight, you're not really in need of strong abs either, something else I had been concerned with. Will go again - bought a return flight package on my way out. read more

Hmm, where to start? They tell you to be there 60 minutes early AND have your waivers done. 1. If you have your waivers done, then you end up doing nothing for 60 minutes. 2. Since when does it take 60 minutes to do a waiver? 3. You have to do the waivers on a computer because they have no mobile site. So we sat there for 60 minutes. Awesome. *sarcasm* After paying for your flight, they do not tell you that every little thing is an additional cost. For example, want to go higher? $10 more. What??? We had a great flight instructor. We tipped him. I did not mind that extra expense. I wish the flight time was a little longer. read more

This has to be the worst & most racists place i have ever experienced. I booked & paid for a party there but obviously when my party came all of sudden there were "major problems." All of sudden there was issues the machine was crashing and the manager Had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He just came and told us our party was cancelled due to being 10 mins late. But we were considered late because ifly system crashed. But other parties came in that looked opposite of us walked right in and was given services. The staff there was extremely tacky, we got nothing bit attitude since the time we walked (we were on time), the manager doesn't know what he's doing & frustrated, they ignored us & are extremely racist. We were also informed that there were no more slots available for the entire day... really??? This place is the pitts!!! read more

I have a lot to say about this place. First of all, when you purchase a package they immediately try to upsell you so that you can have a "high fly", where you go 30 feet up into the air as opposed to staying about waist level. They failed to mention the option at all on the phone when we originally ordered but to be fair it really was worth it. It should have just been incorporated in the original price. Then at the end of our run, they went for another up sell and told us that they had time for two more flights if anybody wanted to fly one last time for $20 per person. Finally, at the end they go in with one more pitch. They offer you more flights for less of a price but you have to do it there so... needless to say there were definite sales techniques intertwined with the experience. With that said, the experience was a lot of fun and for those minutes that we were flying it was an excellent experience. BUT... it's not over Because then, we cut to the videos which are included in your package along with one photo. It's included in your flight. So my girlfriend goes to the videos and of the 20seconds, we quickly discover that half of it is dedicated to the DUDE BEFORE YOU- then you enter the chamber and so you FINALLY get to see you right?... for a total of about six seconds of your own flight. These are the worst seconds too ironically because you are just learning. Additionally, My girlfriend wanted to purchase four pictures so they charged us for the three an additional $17. And additionally, they don't allow any ability to purchase video from the high flight or any pictures from the high flight which is the best and what makes the experience worth it! Finally, the woman in the morning had a positively rancid attitude toward our group. My girlfriend was told that she had to book the reservation and had to have the full amount One week in advance. But when she called that day, (three times) to make the payment, nobody ever answered the phone or returned her voice messages. She then called the next day to make the payment and the exact same thing happened. One day after she called finally somebody answered and she made the payment. Then the next day someone called her and asked when she was going to pay her amount in full? So there is a serious lack in communication for whoever is in charge of making reservations. Finally, it was unclear whether pictures would be immediately made available downstairs or if we had to get them online and the communication again was just really unprofessional. That said it was fine and our instructor was great. There was just a lot of downside that a lot of people should know about with this place. They need to up their game. read more

This was my first time coming here and I have to say I'll be coming back!!! Scott was my instructor and he was awesome, he was nice and professional. I was nervous and excited at the same time when I first walked in. As I was waiting to go into the tunnel, I was getting more Nervous and excited. But I had A great time and such an amazing experience!!! I can't stop talking about how amazing this place and this experience was. Awesome staff here!!! read more

My family and I went to IFly Rosemont location to celebrate my birthday on 7/2. We were all first-time flyers. We had an amazing experience. Everyone we came in contact with was warm and friendly. I even received a complimentary 'high-fly which, I would recommend everyone try at least once. You guys made my birthday a good one. Keep it up!!! read more

I took my husband here for his birthday as a surprise and man, was he surprised! The whole experience was fun and the instructor was very nice and prepared us properly before entering the chamber. It was awesome to be able to get to know the other people in our group, though I was a little disappointed that nobody told us it was a group activity as I thought it would just be my husband and I. It was also a bit aggravating that there were a ton of pre-teens running around, making a ton of noise, and just overall being obnoxious. Nobody said anything to those children until our instructor told them to calm down and wait their turn, since they weren't a part of our group. Another frustration I had was that there was not a suit that fit me properly. Either it was too tight or way too short, and it was awkward and a bit embarrassing that I had to squeeze into the one he gave me. The actual flight was so much fun and gives you a rush like no other. It's a bit complicated to get the hang of, and frustrating when you fall to the ground inevitably, but again, the instructor is wonderful and is able to get you on the right track again. We did the high flight and got one for free for my husband, which was nice of them, and that was a ton of fun going that high. Unfortunately, when we left we got a code to download our pictures and videos, but when we went on the site, it did not work. I called in multiple times to see if I could get a copy, and they said that there were stipulations that we had to download it within a certain time frame. When I advised her that I had actually tried to do it the day we left, she hung up on me. I gave up on the process of trying to get the video, but feel a bit scammed of that "perk" for getting the deluxe package. I technically paid to have those and couldn't get them. Other than that though, I'm so happy we went and we definitely want to take our son there soon, but are worried he won't want to fly! read more
