I am a walking miracle. I thank God for my surgeon Dr Iero who prayed and used his talent to…read moresurgically put my right knee back together and the nurses that helped me when I stayed overnight in the CHI St Joseph hospital. When I wheeled into PT in a wheelchair and I was nonweight bearing already for 6 weeks and everything was new and scary and uncertain. I had my knee locked straight in the brace and then the journey to bend my knee and when I stood on my 2 feet for the first time. I was nervous. Would I be able to walk again?.... But PT Matt and PT Philip and techs encouraged me every physical therapy session. I remember crying because I had never felt so weak and I was frustrated because I could not do a certain exercise. They NEVER gave up on me. They were tough! They had no mercy on me heheh Hehhehe..... they believed in me and I am a walking miracle and back as a nurse because they both blessed me with their talent and passion in helping the community and that included me as their patient. I thank you so much for helping me learn to walk and I am back being a nurse again!
