Here we are going on three and half years later.. I finally had my AC fixed and found out it was breaking due to negligence upon installation. Honestly, these people don't even deserve one star. We were supposed to move in on 1 November and we were barely able to start moving our things in on the 5th, I paid the deposit along with first months rent the same day I filled out the application and was accepted. They listed the house as ready to move in that same day with new carpet, when I view the home it was not ready to move in, the carpet was old with stains and very dingy. They replaced the central air unit but failed to replace the air filter which looks like a 10-year-old carpet, it is absolutely disgusting and I have a new four week old baby. The garbage disposal still does not work, the sprinklers do not work, their maintenance guy Eric was supposed to come and remove appliances in the home last Friday and here it is a week later and they are still intact, they were supposed to have a guy working on the fence and replacing boards, he has not been back in a week and every time I called to speak to Darlene she is conveniently in a meeting and every time I leave a message she does not call me back. The electrician who was here last Friday was able to get a hold of her the first time he called and asked her while I was standing in front of her if I could have her direct number and if she could give me a call that day and she has failed to call me a week later. This whole process has been very frustrating and they have very unprofessional workers in the office who Well hang up in your face after the cleaning lady turned away our spectrum service guy because she was "scared" and yet once I went and did another walk-through in the home the cleaning lady had not cleaned anything at all, so I'm confused as to why she was even here in my home. So me and my 7 month pregnant girlfriend who own multiple businesses in LA drove 2 hours each way out to hemet to look at propertys as we want to start our family by saving money before getting our own permanent home. On the second property we had written down, we called IE Homes and talked to Diana and she GAVE us the lockbox key over the phone... there were broken cupboards and holes in the wall, but all in all if it were fixed up it would have been nice. We called Diana back and in her barely understandable accent she said we needed to come into her office right away to get the application. We got it from her and she said to get it back in as soon as possible. we stopped looking at other propertys and drove home to get it back into them. We texted and called and dianas phone kept going to a "the mailbox belonging to _________ is full" message. Finally after a day we got ahold of her to get her email address to send the paperwork, proof of income, our IDs and ss cards into. She said she would check it out and call us back and she never did. We called for another day and texted and finally she answered and said our paperwork was approved and that all that was left was to take in a deposit to her. We said we would bring it in anytime because we for sure wanted the property, but asked in Monday was ok (This was Saturday) and told her we for sure wanted it so to tell us if we needed to bring it in sooner. She said no, the paperwork was approved and monday was perfect, and we the property was ours for sure. On monday morning we called in to ask what time we should come in, and Diana didnt remember who we were. Once we reminded her, she informed us the property had been rented the day before but we could come back out to Hemet to look at their other propertys. I told her I was going to file a lawsuit for emotional distress as my pregnant girlfriend almost passed out from the distress of having a house we were told was ours that she loved totally and completely taken from under our noses by their shady practices. I asked to talk to a supervisor and she put me on the phone with a man who basically proceeded to tell me thats the way things work sometimes and if we didnt like it we could go through a different property management company, and that my lawsuit would have no grounds so they would just laugh it off. IE Rental property management are SLUM LORD'S!! I had the unfortunate experience of renting from them. When I moved in I discovered they illegally rented me this house with no working furnace/A/C unit 5 months before they fixed it, a gas leak, a water heater that was gutted, leaking sprinkler pipes they never fixed, they didn't want me to use the swamp coolers during the summer, I discovered the reason why because the water line's the pump the belts and then the motor needed to be replaced which we fixed just to have air. The breakers kept tripping and was causing sparks because they were too small for the house, we had to have it changed since it was a fire hazard. Then my kids found 3 dead cats in the access door to the house which was in my daughter's bedroom, I had to pay for exterminator who found in the same access door that the walls had a big gap which let in creatures and daylight. They knew that cats were getting in the house since there was cat shit on the floor during the walk through. Filled out work orders every month for this items and always got the run around, being told maintenance was coming between 9 & 6pm and never showed up. I even had received qualification for weatherization program and they refused to give approval for the free repairs stating the program had damaged other of their properties in the past. That's BS when the program have licensed contractors unlike IE RENTAL who sends out convicts and immigrants that don't speak English knowing I don't speak Spanish. We had problems with a couple of neighbor's one that attacked my autistic son in our front yard and then again while he rode his bike and both times he was with his respite worker who is also an LA county sheriff. Made police reports both times, took him to the ER, and nothing was done. Then the back neighbor shot a bb gun into my living room window and broke it in retaliation for my calling animal control because he let his dogs fight and left the injured dog bloody with his face mangled. This "company" showed my gf and I the house off of day st in Moreno Valley, we loved it, and applied. We heard back 3 days later that we qualified and the house could be ours but due to poor credit they were upping the rent from 950$ to 1,025$, and the deposit from 1,700$ to 2,050$. The crappy part was we disclosed that one of us had bad credit and we were told that wouldn't matter as long as we didn't have any evictions. They knew we couldn't afford more than the originally agreed upon price and they took our application fee's anyways. San jacinto apartment off of Ramona Blvd n tiger ln I rented from ie rentals a year ago. We got approved right away when we went sign everything it was all good we we're going to get our keys the next day cuz they we're putting in the sink. So we agreed to move in the next day. They call me that afternoon to tell me that we went able to move in cuz it wasn't going to be ready in time. So I ask when will it be ready. They said 2 more days. So we agreed (red flag). 2 days come n it wasn't ready. So my FIL called n told them what the is going on. So they said we could move in the next day. Just come to an apartment that wasn't clean at all n everything they took out of the house in out lil porch. When we asked if they could come n clean it up. They seem bothered by it. Then my kitchen sink was leaking water n it crated mold n when it was raining my roof started leaking. I rented from IE rentals in San Jacinto.... the bath had tons of old mold that they tried covering up with a shitty caulking job, I had no stove knobs, was missing a kitchen drawer and the kitchen fan was barley hanging by a wire.... after complaining for a few weeks I finally got some stove knobs but they were disgusting and full of old grease and food particles. And I never got the kitchen drawer and my bf had to fix the fan himself...the whole complex was invested with cockroaches, the washer room was left unlocked 24/7 so we constantly had homeless druggies in there pissing all over the floor and leaving their drugs, needles, crack pipes, drug paraphernalia in there. The managers would promise change but it never happened...thank god for my neighbor who would take time out of her day to clean the washrooms for everyone. Once every month they would shut the water off from the whole complex and claim they were working on a broken pipe but when I walked the whole complex looking for the "workers" and "broken pipe" to ask how much longer because I needed to shower for work... low and behold... there was no broken pipe or workers to be found... they would just shut thee water off to save money I guess.... no heads up or warning, the water would just be off for hours. The dumpsters were constantly overflowed one time it even caught fire and the tenants had to hurry and move trash so the fire didn't spread. I finally had enough and moved out.... I scrubbed the apartment and even in the managers words left it "move in ready" all they had to do was replace two of the plastic blinds so tell me why I only got half of my deposit back??? The place was actually nicer when I moved out then when I moved in! I had replaced the missing kitchen drawer myself, fixed the fan on top of countless other things... BEWARE OF IE RENTALS!! If I could give less than one star, I would. I should have realized that this was a shady company from the get go. When I went to move in, I was told initially that the carpet was being replaced "all brand new" and that my move would be delayed a few hours. I was ok with this, but I was told noon the latest. 7PM rolls around and they still haven't finished. Fortunately, I was moving things in my own truck and hadn't paid a crew, otherwise it would have been a night mare. When the inside crews finally left, around 9pm, the agent tells me that she has done the walk through. When I refuse to sign the papers until she goes through with me and I approve of what she wrote down, she got frustrated, and said she would have to do it another day. A week went by and I noticed my air conditioning was not working efficiently. I call and submitted an online request for maintainence. They tell me I am on the schedule and to anticipate someone on a specific day but can't give me a time frame. The day comes and goes, no one shows up. Five more calls, nothing happens. Then the plumbing starts to back up. More calls, no one comes out until I threaten to withhold rent in an escrow fund. They throw some liquid plumber down the drain. A temporary fix. Everything in this house was cheaply, quickly and probably not done to code. I wrote them my sixty (60!) day move out notice on a month to month lease not even three months after moving in. The landlady calls me right away asking what the problem is. I iterate the problems to her. She tries to apologise but we're well past that. I tell her that we are moving out on our date still even though she tries to coerce me into staying. Oh, then maintaince shows up only to say they don't have the right tools and they'll be back later that evening. Well, it's been three weeks. Must be damn hard finding those tools. DO NOT rent from IE Rental Homes in San Jacinto under any circumstances. You are better off living in a cardboard box. Their houses are in shady neighborhoods, they will happily take your money and drag their feet about fixing the issues inherent from the get go. Horrible! The manager isn't onsite so getting a hold of him is a fucken mission. Called the office and they tell me to have my manager handle it. I have roaches, infested with them. I have maggots. I have fucken snails inside the damn apartment. Apartment wasn't in move in ready as they claim. There was trash in the back yard infested with flies (which are everywhere as well). Trash included adult used diapers and other nasty shit. Window is broken, no screens on the windows. Oh! Did I mention there is mold. Don't we sign off on the lease agreement before we move in that there is no visible sign of mold on the property? Isn't that a violation already on their part? It's because they paint over it and since the cabinet is falling apart due to water damage prior to us moving in. The pieces are falling apart and revealing the mold under the paint. I E Rentals can't even locate the manager. They told me to go to his house. But I'm sure when rent comes around all these idiots are going to surface. You are better off loving on the streets, you will be living with roaches, maggots,flies, snails and mold but at least you arent paying rent to have them living Inside with you.
