JEFFERY IS NOT A LICENSCED CONTRACTOR. PLEASE CHECK THE LICENSE # BEFORE HIRING HIM. I hired H T…read moreConstruction to install luxury vinyl plank flooring in my foyer, living room and dining room area. Jeffery came to my home and installed my vinyl flooring. The floor cracks when I walk on it and the planks are not properly locked together. Also, when I walk on the floor, I stump my toes because the floor is so poorly installed the ridges from where they are supposed to join are raised off the floor. I tried to resolve these issues with Jeffery with no resolution. Jeffery was rude and constantly talked over me and made it clear that I did not know how a floor should look, and I did not know what I was talking about even though I have laminated flooring in other parts of my home. Jeffery also told me he installed a FLOATING FLOOR. FLOATING FLOORS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THIS, MY FLOOR. It would not take a professional contractor to look at my floor and know it was installed poorly. My advice is run do not walk away from H T Construction. All of the hype you see on their website; not true. They will take your money and not do the work correctly. Also let me add I requested a breakdown of my PAID invoice and have not received that as of this date 07/27/2024. The room painting was done poorly; painted the air conditioning thermostat and vent, window chain used to open and close the verticals. Did not tape off anything just painted. I was also charged for an electrician that never came to replace and check my electrical outlets. Two floor installers showed up to do the floor installation; one was a young man who looked like he was still in high school and did not have any idea of how to install flooring. Jeffery told me maybe the flooring was defective. When I questioned him if the floor was defective, he should have seen that as the floor was being installed and not installed the flooring and I could have retuned the flooring. This was another attempt to shift the blame for the poorly installed flooring to something or someone else. H T CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS INC

My experience with Palm Beach Constrution is nothing short of fantastic. The quality of their work is impeccable and the extra value services they brought to the table as far expertise and detail oriented service is remarkable. Having Able as a PM was a God send. Him and his partner worked my project like conductors to an orchestra. I highly recommend them and their company. You can sleep at night knowing the project will be done on time and within budget, which is rare in the construction industry. Thank you Palm Beach Construction for all the effort and navigating through the tough waters of permits and inspection needed to complete my project.

About 20 months ago and prior to moving in, I was tasked with updating the manager's 2BD 2BA…read moreappartment in an upscale beachfront condominium in the Town of Palm Beach (TOPB). Amongst a group of bidders Palm Beach Construction (PBC) was awarded the job to rennovate and update, where financially feasible, the 30 year old appartment that had minor prior work done. Simply put the PBC Team from budgeting, to design, to planning, to execution, to the overall timing, did an outstanding job on the project. The original scope of work was to do new porcelin floors throughout a majority, a modern redesign of an open kitchen, including removal of two walls, with an add-on large island/bar and lots of additional cabinet space, one bathroom complete redo, additional beautiful and code compliant electrical outlets and 3-way dimming lighting, code compliant plumbing line relocations, code compliant HVAC returns, exhaust system upgrades, smoke alarms, new walk-in closest fixtures, and painting. As we got into the project demolition, mold was found in multiple places of the appartment. Long story short, 80% of the drywall had to be replaced and ALL the sources of water intrusion, vapor collection, and mold were mitigated properly. Abel E. and Luis V. were great hands-on supervisors and field generals that not only kept their crews on task, in line, and tidy, but also other contractors that were coming in to do work in the unit. PBC also provided other great recommendations such as, Jaime Plana Architect and Rainbow Blinds & Interior for design work and finishing touches. These all met the highest requirements of the condominium associaition's construction rules, the TOPB building codes, and a beautiful, bright, and open floorplan with modern amenities and professional aesthetic finishes. PBC was not the lowest bidder, nor the highest, but they turned out to be the best return on investment. Their desgin to budget, high end execution, and problem solving abilities, will provide a long lasting, beautiful, and timeless finish that the family will enjoy for many years to come. If you are looking for a great and trustworthy General Contractor for your next remolding job, you should consider Palm Beach Construction as one of your go to options. Demand for good contractors is very high in South Florida. Therefore, plan ahead, beat the crowd, and select someone capable that cares, will get the job done right the first time, will save you money in the longrun, and if ever needed, will stand behind their work. I deal with many owner contractors that come in to clean up someone else's mess. Bigger is not always better and cheap quality is not long lived. Do your homework and choose wisely. Ryan competed with two other companies in bids and not only gave me a better quote, but was able to start the long process in a more timely manner. The load bearing wall was compromised by another company that tried to take shortcuts by installing a soak away and ended up ruining my laundry room and garage, leaving the roof compromised during hurricane season. Ryan kept me apprised of all he was doing and took care of all permits and inspections. His team showed up early, did what was on the agenda for the day and left me with a clean work area every day when they left. Someone always showed up during an inspection and took care of everything. By the time all was completed, I felt great relief knowing my family is safe. I would hire them again without thinking twice about it.

What I received in return was chaos, poor communication, and little meaningful progress. Communication was terrible. Nearly every conversation resulted in changed statements or denial of prior commitments. I repeatedly asked for clarity on where my money was going and never received a clear accounting. I was told doors and windows had been ordered -- they were not. Subcontractors showed up at my home expecting payment and later stopped coming because they were not paid. There was no consistent supervision, no reliable schedule, and no transparency. The experience felt like constant overpromising followed by underdelivering. If you are considering this company, DON'T DO IT. Based on my experience, I STRONGLY regret hiring them.
