We hired I design events to decorate our lounge area for our wedding. Veronika was very responsive and helpful from the beginning. When one of our other vendors showed up late, her and her team without a question jumped right in to help. They were amazing. They Stayed after their delivery to help our other team set up and I only found this out from my planner. It was so sweet of them to do all that for me when they didn't have to. Their flower wall and moss wall was a big hit at my wedding. My guests could not get enough of taking pictures with the walls. I want to thank Veronika and her team for making my wedding the best they could and the helping hand they lent to make sure my day was perfect. I would recommend them with no doubt. My husband and I worked with Veronika and her team for our wedding reception (May 2018) in Vacaville. We contacted Veronika via email and she responded promptly and also followed up with a phone call. We then scheduled a meeting at her Sacramento office. Veronika was very kind and easy to talk to. She was not pushy and listened to what our vision was. She also did well with staying within our budget range but still making sure our reception decor would look beautiful. She gave us her honest opinion when we asked about certain decor/ideas and how it would look. She breaks down all costs and also set up a meeting so we could see what our table decor would look like in person. As for the day of event, her team was on time and did an AMAZING job setting up our decor. I was very pleased and happy with everything (See Pictures). Definitely recommend Veronika and her iDesign team! read more

i was very interested in hiring the services of (Veronica) but I came to discover how rude and unprofessional she is from the beginning. she pretty much never answers her phone and when she does, she barely gives you the time of the day and to top it all of, she will not return your call or email like she promised that she would. I would not wanna hire an incompetent person that thinks she is too good for your business. read more

I met up with Veronica ten days before my South Indian wedding and she was extremely amicable ... she was readily accommodating and was totally in sync with my views of the decors. She not only did a good job but also improvised and created a fantastic ambience for the wedding. The attention to detail, the colors, the theme and overall look was phenomenal and flawless. Kudos to her amazing work and I would definitely recommend her. I do wish she was more accessible on her phone! Thanks to you and your team for all the hard work and cheers! read more

I had the pleasure to work with iDesign Events and their amazing team this past June. Veronika was very professional and was always available to handle any of my questions and concerns. Our event was fantastic! iDesign Events team stepped right in to make sure my vision was executed as planned.. I would definitely recommend iDesign Events for any special event planning. DO NOT HIRE VERONIKA! I hired her to do draping in two tents at a major mega music festival. The day she was supposed to drape she arrived three hours late. As this was a mega event, everyone that was to be onsite for an extended period of time needed to be vaccinated (and show proof) or participate in a free rapid test. She refused both! (Seriously!?!? in CA in this covid climate) You have to show vaccination to sit in a restaurant in CA. So she left, no work done. She then refused to give me back the money I was required to pay in advance. She is such a crook. I can not believe she is still in business with all the small claims (Mine included) that she is involved in. I ended up having to hire another company last minute that cost me a fortune, but they did an amazing. read more

Completely disappointed with this company. I booked the flower wall with the chandeliers and was so excited to have this at my wedding. At the time of the meeting I was shown a picture of the flower wall, chandeliers, and a sheer background and I said I want exactly that. I ended up getting a gold shimmer back drop that was supposed to cover my stage, but it didn't cover the stage and there were no chandeliers. The chandeliers is what sold me. When I called to explain how disappointed I was, Veronika stated nothing other than "she was too". I didn't get an "I'm sorry" or anything. My husband then called because we spent $2000 on this and when we first met we were quoted the $2000 with all included (meaning flower wall, chandeliers, sheer backdrop) and she basically kept getting caught up in lies. Told him that someone opted out of the chandeliers (mind you we never did) then she told him that my Aunt (she was my day of wedding coordinator) never called her and that if we could prove that she called her, she would at least reimburse us for the curtain being short (this was a decision they made without discussing it with me and I stated I wanted the stage covered). So, I received screenshots of the phone calls from my Aunt to her and then she acted like I created fake screenshots and made them up to not reimburse me. I am not a person who is about money, but when you pay $2000 for something that you want and expect; that is what you want. For a year I planned this wedding and nothing made me more happier than these three chandeliers in the flower wall, but the fact she couldn't even say sorry is what upset me. I never once complained that the color was wrong or that the picture she showed me was nothing of what she delivered. The costumer service was horrible. I would never work with this company or recommend this company ever. read more

I have worked with a few decorators in Bay area! Idesign events came out the most professional and provided me with the best quality decorations. We rented her floral walls and the quality and service is excellent! We met with Veronika and described what we need! She suggested me few different options and designs! I was so impressed to see her newer designs. We had little bit of space issue but she got extra help and and solved the problem without me being getting stressed! We rented some beautiful couches and backdrops from them. Every time unique pieces they offered! All our guest complemented the beautiful decor! We will always be contacting idesign events for our all future events! read more

Veronica was referred directly from one of my friends. She had done a lovely job at their wedding. I called her she answered the first time. She seemed confused so I realized I'd reached a personal number and felt badly thinking maybe it wasn't where she'd preferred to receive work calls. Veronica was edgy and rude with me. I noticed immediately she was put off I'd asked her to help me with a smaller event. She pretend she'd contact me through email and tried to shimmy me off the phone before asking me for contact information. I kept her an extra moment while she clearly penciled me in with her imaginary notebook. No call, no email.. two weeks have gone by no response. I finally text the phone number- her business line is a cell phone, it showed up as a text message. No response. Here is some advice Veronica- if you are too busy to take on new contracts, cordially decline. Instead of being a child and running silent treatment on people about to drop a few grand putting food on your table and keeping the lights on in your house. Good luck. read more

Avoid avoid avoid!!!! Veronika is a con artist. She charges for things that she doesn't deliver! We had a 3 day wedding and each day veronika messed something up. Wrong table linens. Wrong center pieces. Silk flowers when we requested fresh flowers. During our consultations veronika was unwilling to budge on our requests. I told her we were a little over budget already and I needed to go with silk flowers instead of fresh to lower the price. Veronika said she couldn't do that because she already ordered the flowers from South America!!! Why would you place an order when we didn't finalize anything. Come the reception day guess what every flower was fake!!! And what's worse is she kept all the money. She is unethical and a con artist. Go somewhere else. read more

We used Veronica for our reception about a year ago. I must say that I was disappointed. Her staff showed up late didn't complete the job as agreed. Didn't bring the flowers for the stage even after several phone calls assuring us they would be there charged us for more than double the up lights in the contract she promised a refund for services not rendered and only issued a refund for the flowers not the lights. My previous review was deleted for some reason I'll keep posting ! I was a customer subpar service was provided I will Yelp about it !!!!!!!! read more

I recently got married and hired Veronica to do my wedding hall decor. I was super excited as it was my big day. I met up with her and finalize on a design that I wanted for my backdrop. I asked her if her team will be able to create the backdrop for me and she said that it's not an issue and I will get the backdrop that I selected. I left the office after making a deposit. When it got closer to the event time, I reached out to her couple of times, making sure that everything is going to be as we discussed and she assured me that it will be. We did have a little rough time in between due to payment. I wanted to transfer the funds online because I work in SF and she is in Sac and it's hard for me to go their to give Cash, as she was asking. I told her that I can transfer the funds online through my account but she said it will have to be cashier check or cash which I felt was inconvenience for me, especially closer to the event date. She also said that she can't guarantee if the decoration is going to be as I wanted if she doesn't get the money on time. That's the last thing you want to hear when you are 2 weeks away from your event. So I went ahead and made a cashier check. I called her and said that I want to make sure everything is as we discussed. So on the day of the event, I was very disappointed that the backdrop I selected is not what I got. I paid a lot of money so I can get the design I want, not to get simple draping, which I could have gotten for a lot cheaper. I would not do business with her again as she focuses so much on money, that she promises that you will get what you want but you actually don't. She is unprofessional and can be rude. I have reached out to her twice after my event, trying to discuss this with her but she has not responded back once. If you do decide to use her, don't ever make a full payment to her ahead of time, until you can see the work she has done for you. read more

First of all, I would like to let all Brides out there know to not choose idesign as your decorating company for your wedding. Veronica is not organized, does not listen to what the bride needs and has us going over the samethings we already went over during our meetings. Like, do u even write down these things? She complains about how much time we are working with her! First off all, you took time from me when I had a set appointment with u! Then she tried to say that we have been working on my decorating planning for two months. Really??? Because we would have been done but veronica kept holding off the meetings till later dates. She is very unprofessional and if I could rate them, I would not give them any stars. She lost my business and is rude to her clients. Plus if you are not able to give your clients a quote then next time, state it in the beginning of your meetings with us! Be more professional at what you do and for a company who has been around for 15yrs, you really haven't learned much from your previous Brides. For future Brides, do not go to her! They are over priced as well! They need to have better customer service and someone who is able to communicate better with their clients! Idesign you need to find a better planner, cause she is making you guys lose alot of money from clients you could be earning from. read more

If I could give idesign zero stars I would. I was never refunded for things that were not provided at my wedding reception because I had given a negative Yelp review.. So I am posting on here again to warn other brides. This company has changed their name because of all the negative reviews Veronica gets. I was never refunded for a step and repeat photo background that I was charged for and never refunded for fresh flowers that were never provided, instead substituted with fake flowers that I did not ask for. I was never notified/contacted that they will not be able to provide the fresh flowers as promised. It's been a year and a half since my wedding and I still am upset at how unprofessional Veronica is and still upset that I put my trust in idesign and Veronica. WARNING to all bride: do not go with idesign, the pictures they show of possible backdrops and centerpiece options from the huge 3 ring binder don't turn out like the pictures, why? Bc they are not their own pictures from events they have done. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me. read more

Met with Veronika a few months ago. From the start she seemed very nice a little to exaggerated. I got bad vibe from her. Everything that I was asking her for my event she had just place an order for and assured me she would have each piece for my event. No thank you she didn't seem trust worthy. I'm glad I decided to look her up on Yelp and the reviews before hiring her. Everything seem accurate note; she does hire students to come set up the day of the event. Ended up hiring Shakor decor so well worth it. read more

We hired Veronika for decor for our wedding and reception. We signed a contract that clearly outlined what we discussed and paid for. She said she would send me pictures and videos after she was done setting up the decor to confirm everything was done properly before each event started. She did not do that. When I got to the venue, everything was done wrong from backdrops to color schemes to centerpieces. There were lots of missing items from centerpieces, stage decor, etc. I tried to call her and I have messaged her multiple times but she has not responded to my calls or messages. She charged us thousands of dollars, did not provide us what we paid for and is now ignoring our attempts to reach out to her. I have our contract and pictures of what we asked for and also pictures of the decor she did. Dealing with Veronika has been very stressful. She has been extremely unprofessional and insensitive to our situation. It is wrong to take money from a client and mess up their big day. She will take your money and not provide you with services you paid for. I would avoid this business at all costs because Veronika is a liar and a fraud. read more

Veronika and her team were really good. Not only did her team come earlier than needed they also help us solve some unexpected last-minute changes. She was always accessible by phone. I travel a lot for work and with the 3 hour time difference, Veronika was able to make early conference calls as well as late evenings to answer our concerns. I recommend Veronika and her team to anyone who's looking for a great event planner who has knowledge of all the unforeseen details when it comes to your wedding. read more

While the decor looked good by the time it was finally complete, Veronika is the most unprofessional individual I have ever dealt with. Reception start time was 5pm, Veronica's people did not complete the decor until 6:30pm by which time most guests had arrived! Please be very careful when using veronica. SHe does multiple contracts with little detail and then you have to return frequently to try and get the information accurate. My friends used her for their daughters wedding and I attended two appointments with them as I am very detailed oriented and they wanted my input so that the contract could be completed accurately. We had a book with pictures and colors - very detailed. Her contract did not mirror what we wanted at all. Then, she sued my friends in small claims court for $10,000 for not using her, even though there was never a signed contract. Although she lost, this is not what you want to deal with when you daughter is getting married. Please check the better business bureau, her business' under different names/reviews, before you decide to use her. read more

When I first met with Veronika we discussed all of my events and what I was looking for. I provided pictures of exactly what I wanted and we discussed the pricing which included all the events for my wedding. Then, when I met with her a second time she kept adding additional expenses on to the price we had agreed upon. She kept saying "oh that's not included; it'll be extra", but I had made sure that everything was included at our initial meeting. Also, when I asked her about my pithi event, she said we never discussed it and it wasn't included in the price, but I confirmed with her multiple times that every single event was included in the price (including my pithi-- she even showed me decor ideas for it). The more we spoke with her, the more shady things got. She seemed very untrustworthy and would continue to add expenses and change the reasoning for the extra charge each time we spoke. We ended up going with another decorator and are very glad we did. read more

I would not recommend Veronika. We used her for our wedding ceremony decorations and it was a disaster. She didn't provide a stage or the chairs for the ceremony as in our contract. We never saw her the day of the ceremony and she promised to fix the problem prior to the ceremony and it never happened. She promised to refund part of the cost and never did that either. She really ruined the ceremony and added a lot of stress to my family who missed part of the ceremony trying to fix the problem. We also tried to take her to small claims court and she never answered her door and we were unable to serve her. read more

Do not make the mistake of picking this place for the decor of any event of yours. I can not explain the disappointment I feel. The decor and backdrop looked nothing like what I had picked out. The centerpieces weren't what I wanted.Furthermore, we were overcharged for things that were not even used at our party. I am in the event/hospitality business and never did I think a company like this would screw us over. I feel that when a business makes a mistake that they should be given a chance to correct it. We gave idesign multiple chances to refund some of our money to help compensate for their doings but no luck. It's just sad, because you only have one reception and they don't seem to care at all, they just kept making excuses, exhausting. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. read more

Veronika Khar of IDesign was a pain to work with. She promises a lot, is rude and doesn't deliver. She has no sense of time and thinks that everyone needs to work around her. Veronika and her entire team of event planners are hands down the best in the business!! I had the pleasure of working with Veronika for my very Indian engagement party as well as my very traditional Indian wedding and reception. I am so happy to say that she went above and beyond for all of my needs. I was hesitant at first as to what to expect as it's hard to conceptualize a fully decorated room from a hand drawn layout, but when I arrived to all 3 events I was blown away by how beautifully Veronika and her team were able to capture my dream wedding and make it all into a beautiful reality. Thank you so much for everything! I look forward to working with you in the future. read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! Brides, stay away from Veronika Leoni. She cheated me out of a lot of money and when I tried to find her to sue her, I was never able to track her down to serve her court papers. She ruined my wedding and looks like she does this all the time. She takes the money up front and doesn't deliver so you're stuck with nothing on your wedding day. Won't answer phone and can't find her on my wedding day. And I couldn't hire anyone to do the job because she strung me along up until my wedding day when she sent some teenagers to put up some flood lights around. Are you kidding me? All of my bridemaids were frantically putting center pieces together and putting up curtains because her team of teenagers came late, didn't know what they were doing, and didn't have much materials so my girls made stuff up with what they can get their hands on at the restaurant. I curse that woman for all the ruined wedding days she has created, including mine. Money will never buy you love nor happiness in your life. Be ware!
