Being ghosted by someone I'd trusted as my stylist was disappointing and confusing. Because of that experience, I won't be returning and can't recommend her. She isn't interested in explaining her weird and unprofessional behavior. Cowardly passive aggressive ghosting with no explanation. Unprovoked. And childish. I went in & the stylist and I had a great conversation about what I was looking for. The cut was really beautiful but she said the color would take more time than what we'd booked. She said she'd confer with the owner for any additional suggestions for processing my hair, and I scheduled the following week for color services. I returned for the color a week before Christmas. We spoke again to confirm my objective: I wanted ash blonde highlights in my naturally grey hair. Easy Peasy, right? No. The color process went awry, and after she tried to tone the color down with an all-over color, I left with a full head of solid strawberry blonde hair. Yes, I paid $250 for a 3 hour, total hair transformation...which was great if I were in witness protection. On Christmas Eve, my grandchildren cried because they didn't recognize me, and our dinner was unusually quiet. I never went back to the salon, and in spite of the stylists' advising my stylist on remedial options, I never heard from the salon again. The End
