I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Sheila Dobee and her entire team in Fremont. I have…read morebeen a patient of Dr. Dobee's for over 15 years, and over that time I have developed not only trust in her as my dentist, but a genuine appreciation for who she is as a person. From the very beginning, we instantly connected through heartfelt conversations, and one thing I love most is that after all these years she has remained exactly the same -- kind, compassionate, genuine, and someone who truly cares about her patients as people. Dr. Dobee has always been known for thinking outside the box, using the best materials and treatment options, and putting her patients first. So when my boyfriend unexpectedly fractured his front tooth around 10 PM on April 24th, I immediately knew who to call. Even knowing we would likely be cash paying rather than using insurance, I had complete confidence that she would help us navigate the situation and find the best possible solution. I texted Dr. Dobee and sent photos despite it being late on a Friday night, and she responded right away. Shortly after, Dinesh, the office manager, contacted us and scheduled my boyfriend to be seen first thing Saturday morning. From the moment we walked in, every person treated us like family. We were seen by Dr. Hawari, who I have also been a patient of and have always known for his incredible restorative dental abilities and attention to detail. He immediately came across as compassionate and reassuring and focused on helping us move forward rather than sitting in guilt and stress over the situation. He took X-rays, examined the tooth carefully, consulted with us, and explained our options every step of the way. He initially performed a composite build-up on the front tooth and honestly it looked incredible -- you would never have known there had been an accident. What stood out most was his honesty and attention to detail. Rather than simply continuing treatment, he noticed there could potentially be a root fracture and immediately shifted directions because he wanted to make sure the treatment plan was right. He coordinated care with Dr. Frankie, who specializes in same-day implants. When we met Dr. Frankie, one of the first things that stood out was how down-to-earth, understanding, and empathetic he was. He immediately made my boyfriend feel comfortable during what was already a stressful situation. One thing he said really stayed with me: he would never do anything to my boyfriend that he wouldn't do for his own mother or family. I found that incredibly commendable because it showed genuine care and integrity. It truly felt like everyone involved was thinking outside the box and trying to determine what was best for my boyfriend and, most importantly, trying to save his natural tooth if possible. After further evaluation, Dr. Frankie consulted with Dr. AC. What happened next honestly amazed us. Dr. AC had already completed a full day but still stayed late unexpectedly, reviewed the imaging, discussed options with the team, and continued his evening until almost 10 PM helping my boyfriend. He and his assistant prepared the room, performed a successful root canal, and everyone worked together to create the best possible treatment plan. We later went to Micro Dental Lab in Livermore for color matching, and even there we experienced the same kindness. As soon as we mentioned Dr. Dobee's name they immediately knew who she was. We were treated with such warmth and even given a tour of the facility near the end of their shift, which was incredibly thoughtful. What stood out most throughout this entire experience is that everyone associated with Dr. Dobee feels like a real person first and not just a doctor. My boyfriend's insurance is not great and we were paying cash, but not once did we feel treated differently. This could have been a devastating experience considering it involved a front tooth and such an important cosmetic area, but they made the process smooth, reassuring, and manageable. Thank you Dr. Dobee, Dinesh, Dr. Hawari, Dr. Frankie, Dr. AC, and the entire team for your compassion, professionalism, and exceptional care. My boyfriend already says this will now be his dental office too, and I completely understand why. I cannot recommend them enough.

I was scared because I was in deep pain and needed urgent care and I was very worried about them getting me in. I got there by 11 am and they immediately helped me seeing that i was in massive pain. The front admins were so kind. Dr. Dobee immediately came to help as well as her other dentist person. He was amazing. He just was so kind. Their products were top notch for xrays, and very fast. I could see all the issues. Dr. Dobee immediately scheduled me to do my complicated tooth surgery. The was really good at making sure i wasnt in pain. She was positive energy. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this office was frustrating enough that I felt…read morecompelled to share it. The biggest issue was the front desk experience. Miriam's lack of organization, poor time management, and unprofessional demeanor completely changed what should have been a simple appointment into an unpleasant experience. An appointment was apparently lost or mishandled, and instead of trying to resolve the problem professionally, the interaction was made worse by the tone of voice and attitude I encountered. Customer service is often the first impression people have of a business, and unfortunately, that impression was disappointing. Patients expect courtesy, efficiency, and respect, especially when they are taking time out of their day for a medical appointment. In this case, I experienced the opposite. The dentists may provide excellent care, but the front office needs significant improvement when it comes to communication, accountability, and professionalism. Sadly, this experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

If you struggle with anxiety…read morearound the dentist I can tell you that your comfort is a big priority to them and they want to aid you in maintaining your dental health. I actually came to Dr. Weisman for a second opinion. I started having some pain in a tooth while eating and my dentist at the time said she didn't see anything wrong with it (no decay for example) and suggested to "wait and see" as maybe it was inflammation or something. I wasn't satisfied with that and arrived here. Dr. Weisman explained how it is possible there could be a crack in the tooth that can't easily be seen, but pressure from chewing can affect it and cause pain. He then explained there is something he can do to test and see if that might be the case. Well, it certainly seemed to be! We scheduled an appointment to come in and have it fixed. Literally two days before the appointment, a portion of that tooth broke and so he was right and I am glad I had sought out another opinion. The next thing I want to call out is this: I am someone who has had a LOT of anxiety around the dentist for a variety of reasons. I would always need nitrous oxide if I was having anything done other than a cleaning, but that is not the case here! I always feel comfortable coming in and I don't know how Dr. Weisman does it, but the novocaine is always nearly painless. Everyone else in the office is also great. Everyone seems to support each other and help each other. There is a warm and comfortable environment here.
