I used my roadside asst. through my insurance. I guess Ideal Roadside was the only ones around. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! My ETA was 70 minutes. I called dispatch and spoke with Rob. He said he would call me right back. I never received that call back. I waited 3 hours and when the tow truck arrived he had to take his co-worker home bc there wasn't enough room in a single car tow for 4 people. That added to the wait time. When the truck was loaded on to the flatbed it was just an inch from the edge of the flatbed. Even the driver mentioned it being so close to the edge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVER PROVIDER! read more

Imagine my surprise when i hear no word at 3:30 and call my insurance company and they tell me it was incomplete. Absolutely horrendous customer service. This towing company was dispatched throguh my insurance company SUNDAY at 6pm, for MONDAY at 8 AM. I waited for 3 hours and they never showed up. They kept saying that they were almost there, 20 more minutes, 20 more minutes and we will be there.... but they never arrived. I missed 3 hours of work for nothing. This towing company was dispatched through my auto insurance company at 4:30 pm, February 8, 2024. I was told it would be approx. 90 minutes. After the 90 minutes expired, I was told the company would arrive in 20 minutes. After 20 minutes the insurance company checked on the estimated time of arrival. The dispatch obviously told the insurance company 10 more minutes. Ultimately, I ended up waiting close to 3 hours before just canceling the tow services altogether. Terrible service with no integrity. Do not use this company if you need a vehicle towed. They outright lied to me on multiple occasions about when they would arrive. Originally it was supposed to be my no later than 6:00 PM. The next time given was 8:00 PM. Then their "manager" called me to say he would personally be there by 9:00 PM. At 9:30 I called him back and was told they NEVER HAD AN ORDER FOR ME. Then he called me back to say that my insurance carrier cancelled the order. I called my insurance company back, and they assured me the order was still valid. The insurance company called them on behalf and assured me they would be here no later than 11 PM. Of course, they did not show. On top of this, the insurance company told me that the towers were holding out for more money. They finally showed up and towed my car around 1 AM the following day. The driver was very friendly. I would avoid this company and save myself time in future. I secured this towing through BMW roadside assistance using Urgently. Initially, ETA was 55 minutes. After that the time was updated to an additional 15 minutes several times. The tow truck driver called and stated he has several calls before me and did not have an ETA. The dispatcher provided false information and assured that the driver would be there in 15 minutes. The dispatcher stopped responding and wouldn't take calls from me or customer service. After 2.5 hours of waiting on this company, I had to start the process over and secure another tow truck. It was now close to 8 PM and my car was on the side of the interstate. I spent over 4 hours waiting for a tow truck. Two and a half of those hours were wasted by this company. They deserve 0 stars. read more

If I could give a negative number rating I would because me and my wife broke down on Hwy 110 on a Friday afternoon just inside the Bullock county line around 4:20PM. There was a very high traffic volume and because of steep banks on the side of the road, I could not get the vehicle entirely off of the road. I call my insurance company to order a tow truck to tow our car to Brewbaker Kia in Montgomery, AL. I called my dad and explained what had happened and asked him to come get us. We also had $190.00 worth of groceries in the vehicle we had just bought. My insurance company told me that a tow truck would be there at 6:00PM and he didn't show. I called Ideal Roadside and did not get an answer, so I called my insurance company. They gave me the drivers phone number and I called him. He told me that the 1st truck had broken down and he went to get another truck but he was on the way. After 2 hours, he still had not shown up, but when I called him, he said he was on his way to our location. After 3 hours, I called him and he said he was on the Eastern bypass on the way to us. While on the phone with him, he told me that another pickup just came on his computer and he was going to get them. I told him NO, he needed to come and get us, because we were ahead of the new pickup. He still said he was going to get them 1st and then he would come to our location. I called him and he said that he had issues but wouldn't tell me what they were and hung up on me. I called him back again and he told me that he was on Wares Ferry Rd. which is on the opposite of the I-85 from me and he finally told me that the bed on the truck was stuck in the raise position. I had to call the Bullock county sheriff's department at 7:44PM to come and direct traffic because it was getting dark. After 4 hours, I had the insurance cancel Ideal Roadside, LLC and order me another tow company to get us. The tow company they ordered came from Troy, AL and was there in 45 minutes. That driver was super nice, picked up our SUV and dropped it off at Brewbaker Kia. Ideal Roadside, LLC is a terrible company and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

Locked my keys in my car , sent three different drivers the last driver who was 1 of 3 to actually show up straight up stole belongings from my vehicle, rambled through my things , then had the nerve to act like he wasn't gonna keep them when caught and confronted. I wish that I had gotten the tow truck drivers name. He was so nice. I'm driving from Atlanta to New Orleans for Christmas and broke down in Montgomery with my two little dogs at night. Super stressful! He was very professional and comforting, my nerves are shot. Brought me to the motel I booked and then he dropped off my car at firestone and put the keys in the night drop for me. I don't know if there's such a thing as a pleasant experience when it comes to getting a tow truck, but dealing with this company was especially painful. We recently had car troubles and needed a tow, so we called a roadside assistance company we have a service contract with. That company put a call into Ideal Roadside, who is a member of their network. We were told it'd be almost two hours (1 hour and 41 minutes to be exact, they were strangely specific) until the truck would get to us, but said ok and began waiting. After two hours of waiting in the cold rain we called the Ideal Roadside dispatch number we had been given to get an updated ETA. The dispatch lady was incredibly rude and hung up on me twice without giving me any information other than she'd have the driver call me. After that she just began ignoring my calls. Not just ignoring them, but rejecting them and sending them straight to voicemail. After three hours of waiting in the cold rain the roadside assistance company we originally called, called me to make sure the service was satisfactory. I let them know I still hadn't heard from anyone. So they started trying to call Ideal Roadside to find out what was up. When they couldn't reach them either, they cancelled the original ticket with Ideal and told me they could get an out-of-network tow truck to me for an extra $75. At this point there's not much I wouldn't have paid to get out of there, so I told her to do so and I'd gladly pay the extra fee. After four hours of waiting in the cold rain I see two tow trucks pulling up. The tow truck from the second company in front, with the Ideal tow truck right behind him. I told the Ideal driver that we had canceled that request after we were unable to reach anyone at their dispatch office for the last couple hours. He was incredibly pissed, and justifiably so. But I can't help it if his home office isn't updating their drivers. For about 15 minutes things got pretty tense and had everyone's tempers flaring. Eventually, the Ideal driver left, mumbling insults as he did so, and the second truck got us taken care of and on our way home. The whole process with Ideal felt very unprofessional and poorly managed. I'd avoid doing business with them if at all possible. read more

My experience with Ideal Roadside service has been awful. They towed my vehicle on 6/14/2021. The drive informed me he was in route to go get my vehicle and bring it to me. I advised the driver to bring the vehicle all the way down the drive way cause I wouldn't be able to move it cause the ABS module went out. The driver assured me he would bring the vehicle all the way down the driveway. The driver never let me knew he had arrived and dropped my vehicle off to where it was blocking my driveway. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys left in it. I did the survey about my experience with Ideal Roadside Service and a Emergency Roadside Services Representatives reached out to me about the experience. The representative was very apologetic about the bad service with Ideal Roadside Service. The representative was sending them back out to move the vehicle. Ideal Roadside Services was dispatched at 4:25pm. The tow truck driver called me at 6:40pm and stated he was on his way. Ok cool so I'm waiting and it now 8:30pm so I call the driver to make sure he was still coming. No one answered the phone so I called back at 8:42pm and still didn't get a answer. I then call Emergency Roadside Services back at 8:58pm to inform them no one from Ideal Roadside Services has showed up yet. The representative placed me on hold to contact Ideal Roadside Services to see what time they would be coming. Representatives came back to the phone and said he would be here in 10 minutes. That would be 9:08pm when the driver would arrive. I'm still waiting and no one still hasn't showed up from Ideal Roadside Services. It's now 9:54pm and I'm calling Emergency Roadside Services back to see what's going on with the tow truck driver. While calling Emergency Roadside Services back I finally get a call from Ideal Roadside Services at 10:00pm telling me he was on his way. Upon the drivers arrival he then begins to tell me how he was just dispatched to my house. Honestly I believed him cause the first driver called from a different number at 6:40pm earlier telling me he was on the way to my house. Needless to say this company lacks effective communication skills, professionalism, provides low quality care to the customers, and showes no empathy towards customers when they mess up. I definitely would not recommend using Ideal Roadside Services to anyone. A 60 minute wait time turned into a 6 hour and 10 minute wait to fix something that should have been corrected on 06/14/2021. DO NOT USE IDEAL ROADSIDE! Called them to tow my inoperable car to the dealership. Took the driver an hour to get to me. Driver claimed he did not have gas and could not find his gas card. Driver ended up taking the car to the wrong location despite me giving the correct address. Called to have the car moved and they tried to charge me again. After being on the phone with them all morning they finally agreed to move it since the error was on their part but they never moved the car. I had to pay another towing service to move it across the street and lost a day of repair time. AVOID! read more
