Do NOT go here! I went here several times before my wedding in June. Every treatment I received did not work. One month before my wedding I got lip filler I only got a half a syringe as I didn't want to look fake. My lips were completely uneven. When I went back, they told me that there was nothing they could do for me and that I would need to pay for a full syringe for them to fix it. I called corporate. I spoke with the Sarasota office manager. They did nothing for me! I was in tears and told them that I was getting married in eight days and that my lips were completely uneven. They did nothingo and told me once again I would need to pay for a full syringe for $650 for them to fix it for me. This was completely their fault, I did nothing wrong. I have had cool sculpting done before at another center. This experience was so much better. I had 6 areas (flanks) done on the same day. From the consultation to the treatment I was greeted by professional, qualified, and very kind staff (especially Kim who did the actual procedures). Unable to book an appointment after several calls. I am a return customer who experienced additional hair growth after numerous treatments at a different location. Their policy states they provide treatment for regrowth at a discount but good luck with that. They are only interested in selling you full priced treatments and not honoring their own policy. I just had an absolutely horrible experience at the Ideal Image in Lake Wood Ranch, FL. It started off with them mailing me a coupon that I brought with me which they would not accept. I carried the coupon in my purse for a month knowing that I had an upcoming appointment and planned to use it then. Guess I should have read the small print on the back and found the expiration date. I could have called and prepaid using the coupon. My bad, but still it just set a bad tone in my mind. Then I received my procedure and went to pay. They said they had to email me a contract and that I had to agree for them to save my credit card on file. They said this is a new procedure. I told them that I did not want them to save my credit card on file. Call me paranoid, but in this day and age of computer hacking and identity theft I do not want anyone keeping my credit card on file in their system. Sure maybe some places do it without me even knowing it, but I'm not going to give someone permission to do it. They told me it was the only way I could pay. I have been a continuous client of Ideal Image for close to 15 years. I'm sure I have spent a lot of money there. That means nothing to them. Over the years I have paid for procedures in cash and have written checks. They said they no longer accept any of that. I ask them what they would do if I didn't have a credit card with me. They said I could go to the convenience store and buy visa gift cards to use. Please keep in mind that Visa gift cards cost $5.95 a piece. I really didn't feel like I should be penalized by having to pay an extra $5.95 a card to pay them. They said there were no other options. Don't get me wrong. I had no issue in paying with a credit card. Credit card was how I intended to pay from the start. I just didn't want to agree to allow them to keep it on file. I really felt like just walking out and saying bill me. However, I didn't know what the consequences of that would be. I finally caved in and went online and allowed them to save my credit card and paid online with my credit card. However, afterwards I made sure they went into the system and cancelled my card and while they were in there I had them also cancel my membership. Yes, I pay an addition fee to be a member. Apparently to membership has them mail me coupons that they won't accept. I will not be going back. After an almost 15 year relationship I'm done. It's not like they are the cheapest in town. I've been going to this Ideal Image for a few years now for laser hair removal. I've worked with Danielle since the get go, she has always been super friendly and has worked with me on financing options. I started with underarms, then added bikini, and then my forearms, which was life changing for me! I've been so ashamed of my hairy arms my entire life, I waxed for years, OUCH!! No longer having to endure that pain and my self-esteem boost was worth every penny! Most recently I did cool sculpting on my back and belly. I just went for my after photos and I am loving my results! I feel the difference in my clothes (i.e. no more muffin top when I wear jeans!) but seeing the side by sides was like oh yeah baby!! The cost to get a full Brazilian and lower leg laser treatments was outrageously expensive. It was just under $8000 and that was WITH 60% off. It would have been nearly $20,000 if it wasn't "on sale". The fact that they offer this: "Ideal Image provides all of our guests with a Lifetime Membership for all areas purchased and guarantees those areas will stay hair-free.", really was not a good selling point for me as if I were to need a follow-up treatment, one of the areas would still cost me $160 (with their Lifetime Membership), for ONE retouch. I requested a rough ballpark idea of cost prior to coming in for the consultation but I was told that they could not provide that and I would NEED to be seen, first. I understand that everyone is different but your representative could have told me what the worst case scenario would be regarding cost. I did come in, as a result of being told that I needed to. I feel bad for wasting the time of your staff to do so. They were all very nice and clearly educated on the products and procedures and they should not have had to waste their time on someone who would never pay that much for treatments. I called the toll free number and a nice lady answered. My question was specific about laser hair removal for lower legs. I asked for a price range and I was told $330/session for 10 sessions. She then set up an appointment for a free consultation at the cooper creek/ osprey dr location. The first turn of as I walked in, was one of the ladies on the phone complaining about her job. She welcomed in, to meet with the consultant. The major turn of started. The consultant did nothing regarding a consultation. She took out a piece of paper and wrote down the cost of $1,003/session for 10 sessions. I informed her that I was told $330/session. Her answer was " I don't know who and why you were quoted this price" she explained nothing else about the process, what to expect nothing! I left there very disappointed. Two days later I receive an email from Danielle Hudson the manager, telling me that there is a special offer just for few days and I need to do a decision, the offer is $330/session. Here where I felt scammed, tricked, and I lost trust in Ideal image. Then I read the reviews and they were all consistently negative about price scams and gauging. I the did further homework, found a better place in Sarasota that does laser har removal. They have the pricing set on their website, no need yo prepay god 10 sessions, you can pay per treatment. The specialist explained to me the whole process, the hair growth cycle, the type of machine to be used, pointed out the benefit that their laser machines are owned not rented, there is a doctor on site. Here's my horror story My roommate and I were very excited to get laser hair removal so we searched for a bunch of place in Sarasota & Bradenton. We wanted to go to a place with reputation because it is our skin and health what we were going to deal with. After looking around we found an Ideal Image office in Bradenton, FL (the one on University Parkway). I was the first one to get an appointment so I showed up and met with Danielle, the sales rep. She pretty much sold me on the idea of signing a contract, which she never explained in detailed. She said so many good things about the company and their laser but she avoided main points in the contract and of course hidden charges. She even got me a loan for $5000 with Chase...I was never informed of that either. When I went to my first appointment, the laser specialist was rushing, didn't care about doing it right and in detailed. Also, the laser damaged my skin. After this horrible experience, I decided to cancel the service but Ideal Image refused to do it. They even declined to reimburse me for the treatments I hadn't even received yet. No matter what I said, they declined to send the money Chase paid in advanced for the treatments. Due to their reluctance, I decided to file a formal complaint with Chase. Chase spoke with Ideal Image multiple times and at the end Ideal Image said that they will reimburse the money for the treatments I didn't use. When I called Chase, they said that Ideal Image reimbursed everything but $680, which they claimed they charged me for the first treatment. I was very upset and faxed them copy of my contract, which stated my first treatment was only $187. Chase agreed with my claim; however, they said Ideal Image said that because I cancelled the contract I was not eligible for the discounts anymore so they decided to charge me full price. After dealing with Chase and Ideal Image for a month and a half I gave up and paid the balance in full. I have never been so disappointed and upset with a company as I was with Ideal Image. I will never recommend or even consider going back. I understand that Ideal Image is a franchise so every owner is different; however, Corporate should not let these kind of people run under the business name.
