Waited to complete at least 6 sessions before I wrote this review. Their "lifetime guarantee" and "throw away the razor" marketing is a bait and switch, and not real at all. The fine print in their contract voids the marketing ploys, so don't buy packages based on that type of thinking, like I did. Their "co-pays" for any sessions after your 8 sessions that are included in every package have just increased by 800%--absolute highway robbery. The copay for my face treatment was $35, and I was just told on the phone that it is now $269. I spent close to $10k on packages from them, because I was so tired of having to shave all the time, and I have hair EVERYWHERE. I was told when I bought all the packages for multiple areas that my appointments would be booked together--another lie. Trying to get appointments for all my areas together was impossible, so I had to keep breaking them up and even going to their Cranston location sometimes because there just wasn't enough availability. Then there were the actual providers doing the treatments. Some providers were awesome, and listened to me when I told them they didn't get a particular area, and needed to go over it again. Others would argue with me, and the worst ones would burn me and leave marks on my body. When I told them during my next session, I kept getting gaslit and told that I may have had something on my skin that caused the burns. No. Absolutely not. They were half crescent-shaped burns that happened because they didn't put the laser head down properly and fully on my skin before they zapped me. Or the cooling head wasn't adjusted properly for some sessions. Overall, my experience with the laser treatments has been good, not great. I still have hair growth in a lot of areas, even after 6 treatments. I have caramel colored skin that lightens a bit in the winter, and dark brown/black hair. I have a lot of hair on my body, and laser has lessened the growth, but it does not go away entirely like they advertise that it will. Their business practices left me feeling like I was robbed, and I will not be going back for touch-ups after my sessions are done. Especially not with these "new prices" they just released. Also, if you have tattoos, you cannot get those areas lasered. It would have been great if someone had told me that before I spent $10k, but of course, they didn't until my first appointment. Thankfully, I don't have many large tattoos covering the areas I needed lasered, but it was yet another thing about their business practices that annoyed me and left me feeling like they're not honest. read more

I originally went to Ideal Image because a local small business Med Spa that I have previously been going to closed. I was a bit hesitant to go to a chain, but I liked the promotion they had going on for laser hair removal (has a competitive bodybuilder. I wanted to not have to worry about my bikini area). I have been to Ideal Image (Attleboro) for two different treatments and have had a great experience both times. I also thought the initial communication from my original inquiry was handled promptly and professionally. I appreciated the help Lori, who did my zoom consultation, offered in answering ALL my many questions. My first laser hair removal treatment (of an eight treatment series) was a breeze. I was a bit nervous (it was a bikini area treatment) and Kerri, my treatment nurse, was totally understanding and very professional. I scheduled my second laser treatment at the end of my first treatment. Easy. My second time there was for a different facial treatment. I called to see if they could get me in sooner than my original scheduled appointment. Lynn, the store manager, was friendly, courteous and luckily squeezed me into a spot that had just opened up due to a cancellation. It worked out perfectly! Laura, my treatment nurse this time, was just as great. She spent time answering my questions and explaining what to expect, both from my treatment and my recovery. The nurse who did my Ultherapy was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. The rest of the experience was less than impressive. My initial contact was via social media and then via text- no problem My "consultation" was a zoom meeting. It was a glorified sales pitch where I was told there would be discomfort but to "take a handful of Advil" when I arrived and I would be fine. I was also told results could be immediate or take up to 90 days. I'm pretty sure the person doing the "assessment" was nothing more than a sales person and the clinical medical office in the background was fake. After agreeing to the procedure, I was approved for financing and electronically signed all kinds of papers. I arrived early at my appointment early. Checked in and waited . The music was not relaxing at all. In fact it was nerve wracking. You would think this kind of place would have more calming music. The two women at the desk complained the whole time I was waiting about someone "telling them what to do".... one admitted having a problem taking direction- This did not instill confidence. Finally I was called in. The nurse practitioner THEN informed me that: 1. It can take up to SIX months to see full results- I was told 90 days max initially 2. I should take 800 mg of Advil an HOUR before the procedure- not a random handful when I arrive. 3. Maximum improvement might be a few MILLIMETERS. - fact that was not disclosed at my "assessment". And this was a procedure more to prevent further skin aging- not to rejuvenate existing skin. Also not disclosed at the initial contact. 4. There would be varied discomfort- nobody ever said pain. Let me tell you- IT FREAKING HURTS!! I gave birth to my child with no anesthesia of any kind- I know pain. This was AWFUL and unexpected! But since I committed to it- I went thru with both appointments. Afterwards there was virtually no pain- no discomfort. My skin feels swollen and tight but doesn't look it. Day after I have minor sensitivity right under my chin but it's nothing. They took "before" pictures when I arrived but there is no follow up afterwards for "after" pictures so I assume the purpose of them is in the event of litigation. My last 2 appointments were cancelled by the Attleboro location. First one as they explained, that the system over booked and the 2nd time the technician was out sick. I do understand that things happen but the worst experience I had was when I called the main customer service to get the duration of the contract extended as there was no way that with the 2 rescheduled appointments, I would be able to complete my treatments within the contracted timeframe. I was shocked at the customer service I received by the call center. The first person I spoke to put me hold when I asked for the manager and then hung up on me. I called again, the 2nd agent was just as rude, told me that I have to take it up with the Attleboro location and then puts me on hold, and then someone totally new from the call center comes on the phones. I went in to ask about receiving a service and a potential per diem job (I'm a nurse). The woman at the front seemed appalled that I even came in. She was very short. She made it very clear that the services are, "VERY EXPENSIVE" and that I needed a consultation. I said, "ok, I'm still interested". She seemed bothered but did call over a nurse. I already k ew from her initial reaction that I wasn't going to ever receive service her because of her service BUT was willing g to speak to one of the nurses. Well let me tell you . My wife had signed up for hair removal 9 sessions. With covid and busy schedule with kids she couldn't go back to finish the treatment. She calls and try to make an appointment and that's when things got ugly. They stated that we can't help you unless she paid. How, she only did 4 sessions? She paid for 9 upfront $6000 . They refused to help her and told her she has to paid again. This is the worst customer experience ever. They stated that the sales rep that sold you the contract no longer there and therefore we can't help you. Terrible customer service. I bought a package for laser hair removal in June of 2022. The lady who sold me the package said it came with lifetime guarantee touch up and 16 sessions. I went to book my appointment for my next session and it said I had to pay. When I called and talked to someone they said I paid for 16 months of laser removal. If that was the case I would of made more sessions closer together. They also don't allow you to book for 6 weeks at a time and half the time they don't have appointments available when you need them. Not to mention I was bruised in one session due to the person going over the same spot repeatedly. They also automatically charge you for a yearly membership without notice. I went in for consultation for BBL. the regional manager was there and stated the results I wanted (pore reduction/evening time/colors, fine line reduction) could not be achieved with BBL due to my age (50's). What I wanted could be achieved from Ultherapy. I asked if it was very painful and was told no (lie #1), I asked downtime and was told NONE (bruising, facial edema are common as is pain) (lie 2), I asked if results would be immediate I was told yes (lie 3)but also ongoing to full effect in a few months (I have my sons wedding in just under 2months). Based on her recommendations and saying bbl would not work at all for me; I signed a contract. I was never told money would be immediately withdrawn in full (months before any service occurred or any appointment dates available), I was told appointments would be immediately available yet my appointment is 45 days away. I was not told this contract is non refundable and binding. I am very angry and concerned. If this company lies to customers what other things are they skimping on, lying about?? I signed up for 2 laser face services back in 2021, My dermatologist told me because of the way my skin heals not to do any laser procedures on my face. I gave them my doctors note. I havebeen fighting with Ideal Image trying to get my credit put on my account for years now, It finally was put on last week, And I said Id like a refund. I get a call from corporate and he states its been to long to give you your money back. This message is for the Ideal Image company as a whole... Very unimpressed! There are many negative reviews at numerous locations around me. I gave my information for a consultation and was contacted a few hours later on the day before Memorial Day 2019. They wanted to schedule me for an appointment the next day... which sounds great but it gives you no time to think about the copious amounts of money you are going to spend. Everyone is just very pushy. So I then decline to go to a consultation appointment... now I get at least one text message from them every week. I had told them at one point that I do not want to go with their services due to negative reviews and that I want to weigh other options. They send a ridiculously long text message being extremely pushy that I should make an appointment and that they are the best. THEY CONTINUE TO TEXT NONSTOP. I told them to stop contacting me and I already told them that I do not want to use their services so I want to be removed from any and all contact lists. Their response... "ok". No apologies for the relentless harassment. Poor customer service. I didn't know what to go back to do it again. they said they couldn't refund me whats left. so I have a loan out w then for 2 areas I didn't get done! I just finished my second laser hair removal appointment at Ideal Image in Attleboro MA, and I drive from Maine to get to these appointments. I confirmed my appointment before arriving, but there was an issue and they didn't get notified I confirmed. This resulted in the company auto-cancelling my appointment without calling me. This is no fault of the clinic, but the company Ideal Image itself. I was shocked when I arrived and was told my appointment was cancelled. They did squeeze me in between other appointments, and the RN was very pleasant which I was very grateful for. What I'm not grateful for was the receptionist who severely lacked tact, kindness and customer service. The way she treated me resulted in me crying throughout my entire appointment. I have never been treated that way as a client of any business I've been to. I rescheduled my appointment at a different office, where hopefully the staff will treat clients in a more professional manner. And a reminder to anyone reading this, kindness is free! read more

This is my first time doing something like this and nervous. My consultation went super well and loved the doctor I spoke with via on Zoom chat. She was so nice and awesome to talk to, very soothing. However, I'm rating it as of right now 2 stars as I was told that someone would call me to schedule an appointment. It's been about 2 weeks and nothing. I'm trying to call now because online it's not clear whether their location in Attleboro is open or not, which I find strange. My first call took 20 minutes to reach someone (not bad at all), however when he redirected me to another line, it led to a dead end to voicebox telling me that I couldn't leave a message as it was full. So I'm starting to get very aggravated and I'm legit now on hold for the second time to speak to someone. I don't get why it's this hard to do something so simple as legit scheduling an appointment. They're really good at giving you a great experience while they're selling you the packages. But after that their delivery leaves more than to be desired. Their equipment breaks down while you're in the middle of your treatments, then when they try to reschedule you they cancel you. It's a lot of money to spend for a bunch of runaround. I tried CoolSculpting in April after having some excess fat cells I couldn't take off at the gym so I did my research and went in for a consultation. After signing for the big "deal" that the sales manager offers to everyone, I booked an appointment and was in a few days later. Procedure was fairly easy, a little tingling but it depends on the patient. To this day, I haven't received a phone call, email or any correspondence about CoolSculpting. The procedure had a reverse effect on me where my abdominal area was red and pulled out for 10 days and all that has gone away is the redness. I had a six pack that I was trying to get back which now seems impossible with my regular workouts and me. read more

Worst experience ever. It started with the appointment. They will only schedule you for a high pressure sales presentation. They only want customers that have never had laser hair removal before. Their fees are double/triple of what I have paid at other locations. They will not touch a hair if it is an inch out of what they categorize is an area. On 12/26/18 I went to Ideal Image in Attleboro, MA to have a Botox procedure done to my forehead, around the eyes and in between them. The Nurse told me that I needed 56 units of Botox to achieve the smooth look around the areas mentioned above it. I was stunned by the large amount of Botox she wanted to inject in these areas because in the past, the most amount of Botox that I have ever had injected were 40 units with phenomenal results. Due to the fact that I wanted to have this procedure done close to home, I have decided to do the Botox applications at the Ideal Image Advanced MedSpa, BIG MISTAKE, I wish I had done better research. In less than a Month, whatever product they used on my face is almost gone. When I went to my follow up visit on 01/12/19 I told them that I was extremely UNHAPPY with the results of whatever product was injected in my face. They told me that I needed additional applications of Botox and yes, I would have to pay for them. I asked to speak with Chantal (Store Manager) who is not giving in, the only thing she was willing to give me is a special rate of $9.00 for each of the additional units. I will NOT give them another penny in fact, I want my $504.00 back so I can have go back to my previous Doctor's office (Rhode Island Hospital) and have the procedure done by real Doctor's and using the real Botox, not water. When scheduling my consult for 4pm today I was specifically told that I only have a 15 min window to be late and I asked them how long a consult usually runs because I had another appointment. I got there minutes BEFORE my schedule consult at 4pm and filled out 5 mins of paper work. I waited.. waited and waited till finally at 445 I couldn't wait any longer. I politely told the receptionist I was leaving and she said the lady would be right with me in a minute but she told me that 45 minutes ago too so I said no sorry I have an appointment at 530 like I told you guys earlier and she looked at me like I had 10 heads or thought I was rude but I'm sorry it's totally unacceptable to make a customer wait 45 minutes for a scheduled consult... specially a new customer. My vet and doctor don't make me wait that long. While waiting a customer literally started and finished a face service but she arrived right after me!
