Initially, I found it odd that a plastic surgeon was also an oral surgeon but there were no issues. While the uncovered portion of insurance is payable in advance of surgery, my dental Insurance was processed without issue . She was in and out of the office within 2.5 hours max. Dr. Haigney called the next morning to check on her status. As a mother, T]this made me feel really good. If there were any issues with my daughter, I would have been able to address them with him directly. However, she had no issues. Her pain today (2 days later) is minimal and she had a cheeseburger today. It was great to see take 30 minutes to eat a meal; I hope this tradition continues. :) As with all dental surgery, know that you will have prescriptions to drop off and pick up immediately after to ensure the minimum pain level is maintained on behalf of the patient. This was not the case for me personally (with a surgeon in Greensboro) but is specifically important when your wisdom teeth are extracted.

Best experience ever. Normally, when I see a 5-star review, I'm skeptical, but not in this case…read more From the moment I stepped into the office and was greeted by their wonderful PA/nurse, through my time with the doctor, everything was first class. My procedure was completely painless, bloodless, and I had no swelling during recovery. I truly cannot say enough about this stellar office. They should give a seminar on how to run a doctor's facility. Thank you, Carolina Oral, for making my wisdom teeth removal journey as pleasant as possible.

I applauded the doctor's efforts (really, I did) got cleaned up, got a goody bag with wound care instructions and a scrip, did the money-for-services exchange and went home to sleep this one off... got a call from Dr F in the evening to see how I was holding up. nice :-) especially thoughtful was his apology for disturbing my rest... who does that any more? the calling or concern? that's real class... and I was doing fine, hardly no pain at all for having a tooth extracted six hours earlier. now it's tomorrow and my face still doesn't hurt :-)

He is amazing, kind and truly knows what he is doing ..He patiently takes the time to explain the procedures in depth . I'm am so glad I gave him the opportunity to work on my teeth given the past horrible experience I went through in the past where I was promised that they would replace my missing teeth then turned out they didn't deliver as promised and told me I had no others options left expect to wear a flipper! I felt I was let down and I had no other choice until I met Dr Kapitan and he assured me he would be able replace my missing teeth! He has superceded my expectations 100 percent!

I made an appointment for another child and told them what kind of insurance I had (medical and dental). Never heard caution re: my insurance until I arrived at my appointment. After I was at the office, they informed me that they don't accept my insurance and I may be responsible for 100% of the cost of the surgery! Waste of my time and theirs!! This should all be checked prior to arrival!! Also (this is little) but everyone sends appointment confirmations now and I got nothing from them (no phone call, no text, no email). I had to call them to make sure I had the right day and time, and to confirm the address. Would be nice for them to reach out to me.

I did not have to come for a follow up appt, since everything healed nicely. The payment experience is the part I still am perplexed and not satisfied with, but I chalked it up as one of those insurance payments and moved on- but wanted to at least share some insight into what you'll likely experience if you go here- there's an accountant member who walks you through your cost estimate for the procedure you'll have- I asked her to reach out to my insurance to get me the exact cost it would be- seems very straightforward to me- if everything goes as planned, what's the exact cost- she said she did- but for whatever reason they just provided an apparent estimate- fast forward, I pay my estimate the day off and ask what insurance said the cost would be and it was the same as the estimate - great- ok...surgery goes as planned and the next month I get a 25$ bill from the dentist and the said it's my deductible I have to pay. They blamed insurance, I obviously felt like it was some weird extra fee, but nonetheless I had to pay it as they wouldn't rescind it. Sooo surgery was fine, doctors great, less than perfect transparency is what I experienced. Take it as you will.
