CU School of Law's faculty are incredible and include graduates from tier one, indeed top 10, schools. Our faculty members have also been widely published. Speaking of writing, the Legal Research and Writing program is getting the attention of practicing attorneys around town. Many classmates have told me and I, myself, have been told that our writing exceeds what would be expected of someone either new to or even fresh out of law school. In fact, we have had a couple of students that have been published in the law journals of other schools--not bad for a school that just welcomed its 5th incoming class. As a recent graduate of the second class, the thing I am most proud of as an alum is that we, the student body, foster a team environment. Before starting law school, I heard horror stories of students hiding books or purposely misleading other students just to try to advance to the top of the food chain. This scared me--I didn't want to trust anyone. The student body at CU-School of Law, however, decided that if our new, blossoming law school was going to survive, we all needed to succeed. We worked together to make sure we all made it through school. We started strangers--classmates, but strangers none the less--but graduated as family. Finally, I would encourage those students considering law school that are not extremely religious to still seriously look at Concordia. Yes, CU is a Lutheran based school and that is clearly evident on campus. However, you are allowed to maintain your relationship with your higher power as you see fit. There is a beautiful, peaceful chapel with a door that is open anytime the building is open, that you can seek solitude when you need to reconnect with your spirituality. The chapel has also been the site of weekly voluntary bible study groups. Your degree of involvement in the religious aspect of the school is entirely up to you; your beliefs are left to your beliefs. I could go on for another 4 paragraphs on living in Boise and Idaho, but since I have probably lost most readers by now I will simply sum it up by stating that in an article located at http://realestate.usnews.com/places/idaho/boise, Boise was ranked as 6th best metro areas to live and work. We seek to be involved in our community and affect change. We have extremely high-level full-time and adjunct professors. You will receive a first-rate education. We are students at a relatively new law school with an interim dean and a new permanent dean starting in January. We have the opportunity to create our own traditions and establish our own level of prestige. Make no mistake, this is exciting but it is also a responsibility that you have to those that follow your lead in attending Concordia Law. We will all contribute to how valuable our degrees are years down the road. Lastly, and most importantly, we create a supportive atmosphere for learning. The (grading) curve of law school tests your knowledge compared to your classmates but what it really tests is your humanity. You really have two options: are you going to try to get better grades because you can pull others down or are you willing to help each other and see how your best stacks up against their best? The students at Concordia Law have overwhelmingly chosen to support and help each other. As you help others, others will help you when you need it. I have been in the fitness center and it even has something to rock climb. The pool is also very big. I was fortunate enough to have my bike there and I biked a lot around the college town. I really enjoyed running on the right trail. But I did have a bad experience once when I decided to jog on the left trail which goes to the state of Washington. When I was jogging back to the campus I felt something in my left eye. So I stopped running and looked left and on the top of a hill I noticed a man was there wearing night vision googles and he also had a rifle. I realized this because it was a laser pointer that I felt in my eye!

(I sought their care after being double billed by a local dentist, then having several horrifically painful & worse ineffective visits at another dental office.) So if you are between dentists, don't have adequate dental insurance, or just sick of unprofessional dental offices... perhaps consider helping the students here finish out their schooling.

This review pertains to the law library specifically…read more As a member of the public using the University of Idaho Law Library- an accessible public study space in the area--I was verbally harassed by a security officer for simply using the women's restroom while presenting exactly as myself. He opened the door stating "you're in the wrong bathroom." After telling him I am not, he persisted. I assured him that I am indeed a lady, and he then left. This kind of invasive, perverse behavior makes public facilities unsafe for both transgender and cisgender individuals and reflects poorly on any institution that allows it. I hope the university will take into consideration the type of individuals they employ as security. This is simply unacceptable.
