Upon my arrival, even though the spot price was the same, I was then offered $925 and told it was a "competitive" price and then best they could give me. I mentioned that I had been told I could get a higher price over the phone before coming here and I was basically ignored. I called the same guy back and was told "he was busy" and couldn't confirm the price i had originally been told. Thankfully however I was offered around $980 at another shop and was still able to sell but a good chunk of my time was wasted and I was lied to.

I went into pawn an item for $100 and I had never gotten less than that before. I was immediately told only $50 and then after a few minutes it was up to $75. The item that I was trying to pawn, I actually did a partial trade partial cash payment to get it as it was being sold for a little under $300. And according to John, he would pawn anything that you bought from him for half of what it was sold for. Which because of my trade-in with the cash, half would have equal out to about $150 so $100 should have been fine. Just really irritates me because it feels like John rip me off. I thought he viewed me as a good customer, but not only shorted me on what I was asking didn't even look me in the eye when he was saying it like he was preoccupied with something else and seem to just try to hurry me out the door so to speak. Because of this, I will not go back.

My wedding ring was originally worn by my mother in law for years and years. It's a lovely black…read morehills gold with a small fake ruby. The etching on the leaves of the black hills gold were worn & almost non-existent. The gold ring part had worn thin, and I feared bending it. The ring needed some work. I took it, first, to an old, established jeweler in downtown Nampa. The person was smug and condescending. So I looked online and found Tiffany's. David replaced the fake ruby with a beautiful lab grown .5ct diamond. He etched the leaves to their original brilliance. He built up the shank to the thickness of a new ring without any flaws. In short, he did a beautiful restoration on a loved ring. Yes, it did take some time, but it was worth the wait. He also gave me a great deal on the overall cost. And, in addition, I was able to trade in some old jewelry to help my cost. His wife was very helpful in advice on proper care of my "new" ring. She is knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me. I'd recommend Tiffany's (yes, he's related to the original family) anytime. They also have some beautiful rings, necklaces, etc, for sale. You have nothing to lose by checking them out.
