I was scammed during the pandemic and long story short it affected me greatly. Then Idaho Central…read moreCredit Union decided it was appropriate to withhold the money that the President sent me to help me through these times. A man by the name of Bridger in their fraud department, though I was informed by a specialist in their organization just yesterday that they would not withhold the stimulus money because they recognize how important it is, said he was going to override that and not give it to me. I insisted that was not correct and they asked me to come to the branch and they should honor that since I tried to avoid this even before it was deposited and they wouldn't let me close the account. BRIDGER THEN HANGS UP ON ME AND WHEN I CALL BACK TO REPORT HIS BEHAVIOR TO HIS SUPERVISOR HE ANSWERS THE CALL AND THREATENS MY FREEDOM BY STATING THAT IF I COME BACK TO ANY BRANCH AGAIN I WILL BE ARRESTED FOR TRESPASSING. HE THEN HANGS UP ON ME AGAIN. Because he was acting inappropriately with me I was insisting to speak with his supervisor in a more animated fashion and then the branch manager comes down to the lobby where only I was and threatens me with police as well if I don't leave. I clearly told her I was on the phone with members of her organization that were wronging me and instead of offering help, she threatened my liberty as well if I did not leave. Is this really how we want our community to be treated? Also, when in the past did an employee think they had the authority to keep a customer from ever coming to the establishment again? The issuing bank decided to lie and tell them they put a stop payment on the check and so mountain west closed my account for fraudulent activity and wouldn't return my check and as soon as I said i would call law enforcement they called them and requested to have me trespassed for no reason as I wasn't yelling being uncouth or using profanity at all. So to summarize they HELPED the credit union STEAL over 4 thousand dollars from me.

No longer Bank of the West, its now BMO! So far a total fail as the bank who's taken over Bank of…read morethe West! I had several accounts, including wealth management and a home loan through BotW, BMO took over and for the last 2 months, NOTHING works properly! Hours on the phone with clueless individuals who can't seem to get anything right, I am STILL having issues getting the smallest issues resolved! The only thing that's happened correctly so far is the ability to still write checks, use my bank card and transfer money between accounts, as well as pay my monthly bills. Other than that, its been horrible. They cannot even get my ONLY email address I use to work properly! They send emails almost daily about me logging in from an unrecognized computer (my ONLY computer at my office that I use for banking!), yet I cannot receive the 6 digit verification codes that their system is supposed to send out to verify the computer! Their help line, if you can even get through, is based in the Philippines and it is quite obvious that they are reading from a book based on what they hear from me. What's even more dumb is the fact that they use the last "charge on the account" to verify me, yet I could not log in to see that charge, which is why I was calling in! "Go to the nearest branch to resolve" is their last reply!!! Really??? Now looking to transfer my business, personal, wealth management accounts as well as my home loan just to get away from this poor excuse of a bank! And with the interest rates as high as they are right now, I'm more than likely going to have to just pay the home loan off completely rather than refi at more than twice my interest rate now (currently 3%). Thanks for nothing, BMO. I'll make sure to tell everyone I know, including each and every one of my customers about how bad your company is...
