He was very patient and helped me with reverse parking and parallel parking. I was unable to do this before, despite countless nights practicing with my family. On the day of my appointment (9:00) no one showed up, it was snowing so I though, maybe they are late. I waited until 9:30 when the office opened and said "I had an appointment and no one is here yet, just wanted to check in". The women on the phone had a very rude tone and said. "Well your payment didn't go through so we weren't going to send someone with our payment. We called you and your husband and left you both voice messages." I let her know that I didn't have any missed calls or voice messages and that my husband did have a missed call from them but no voice message. She said "well I know there were messages because I personally left them, so we weren't going to send anyone over. We gave you until yesterday to call us back, and because your payment didn't go through, we aren't going to schedule anything with you" I responded saying,"I can see why you would think I wasn't interested if you said you called and left messages and didn't hear from me, however, no messages were left so I had no idea you still needed payment or what you cancelled my appointment". [I was trying to be understanding, while still being confused about these so called message]. I continued and asked if we can move forward with scheduling something in the future. She said "Well you would need to pay the missed appointment and pay for a new appointment and because your card didn't go through, I REALLY doubt you would want to do that". I said, "I was willing to pay for both appointments but because your tone was rude and condescending and the customer service your providing me is uncalled for" I added "when I called and scheduled my first appointment, the man I spoke with was wonderful" then she said, "yeah, he called and left the message with your husband" so I responded "BUT you said you personally left both messages". She continued to be rude to me and speaking to me as if I didn't have the funds to pay them so how could I possible be interested in them. Midway, do yourself a favor and get a new "office manager"! Who by the way when asked for her name she said it was "office manager" and when asked to speak to her supervisor she continue to say that she was "the office manager". She is loosing you business.

I was prepared for it to be slower than a regular dentist as they are students (each step is checked by a professor). I was not prepared for how very slow it is. For each appointment you are to plan for three hours. Great, I thought, they will get a lot done during the appointment! Nope. Not even close. The first three hour appointment is pretty much all paperwork. The student goes through a long list of questions with you. I mean a very, very long list of questions. Questions that no dentist I have ever been to has ever asked, and I am not certain how they apply to anything doing with my teeth. I have now been there for FOUR appointments, almost three hours for each of them, and all that has really been accomplished is a cleaning and one cavity has been filled. With the number of cavities I need filled and the crown I need, it will be past the time for another cleaning before I am done. My first appointment was in October, and my latest appointment was in December. As for the idea that it is cheaper than a regular dentist, I am not convinced. You are charged for each appointment and you have to go back so many times that by the end of it all I don't think I am saving any money at all. Minimally if you include the value of your time you do not get a good value for your money. I will definitely go somewhere else for future cleaning services, and I am not at all confident that I will complete all of the work they recommended at this place. I just don't have that much free time.

We were able to reserve the whole right side of the cafe, which was great because we had a surprising number of guests. The open tab at the cafe was great so all our adult friends could caffeinate and chase their young ones around. There was plenty of space to play and extra rooms for coats and gifts. The staff was lovely. I don't think they were totally informed on what the cafe was meant to provide for the party, as plates and cutlery were a bit of a scramble for a few moments (in the party info it mentioned these would be provided). But honestly it wasn't a big deal at all as the two people running the cafe were more than happy to help accommodate us in any way they could. I think we were supposed to do a craft, but that never happened. I'm sure if I had mentioned it one of the staff members would've organized the activity but honestly, trying to wrangle a bunch of 2-4 year olds to focus on one task would've been a nightmare. All in all, I think Rebe's is fantastic value for a birthday party. We had 36 adults/kids, rented out the entire righthand side of the cafe, and provided coffees/drinks/snacks. The total was less than $400. My daughter can't wait to go back and play more!

I went with Bret and a small group for my 50th birthday in September 2025 to Nice, France. It is still the most memorable trip of my life and for all the right reasons. We enjoyed laid back French breakfasts with the group. Amazing Nicoise style dinners. A tour of Nice. Picturesque drives to vineyards and nearby towns and of course each other's company. If you are a Francophile or budding Francophile (for the France tours) and have a deep curiosity for travel, culture, food and language then consider taking a culinary trip with Bret. It's more curated, he's thoughtful on who he finds to assist with local activities, the restaurant selection is fabulous, and the cost is less than a lot of companies out there. The bonus is that plenty of free so he does not focus on monopolizing your time for tours and restaurant visits. You get to actually explore the you're in or just relax in your hotel or Airbnb. if you were looking for something new to do for a trip, think about Bret next time.

If you're rather inexperienced like I am, and have no clue what meals to prepare or what dishes to present, you can ask Bret, and he'll come up with a menu. His private classes can range from teaching one special dish or dessert, to teaching you how to make a multi-course dinner. Let him know what you'd like to learn. If you're a beginner, also plan some time for learning cooking techniques and knife skills. What to expect: I booked Bret's Table for a small dinner party themed event, where the guests were invited to help in the preparation of the dishes that would be presented for dinner. Not knowing what to make for the dinner party, I asked Bret to help me come up with dishes to prepare. We came up with a 6 course dinner plan. If you already know what you'd like to learn, you can make that specific request instead. Through emailing, Bret provided me with recipes and the list of ingredients I needed. Because I was a nervous wreck hosting my first ever Dinner Party at my home, Bret was kind enough to show up early to help me get acquainted with some of my kitchenware before the guests arrived. He showed up nicely dressed with his white Chef shirt, apron, and twirly mustache! We designated areas in my kitchen as stations to prepare each different part of the dinner. Starting with appetizers all the way through dessert. Bret was very attentive and helped give directions to each guest. Everyone had a great time learning and cooking together. It's a great way to build friendships! And during the down time, the people who worked on the less demanding dishes drank wine. The dinner itself was amazing! The food tasted great, the company was great, and by the end of the night, we went through 10 bottles of wine. Not bad for an eight person dinner lol! Ok, ok, maybe a bottle was used in the cooking. I highly recommend hiring Bret from Bret's Table. He's very professional and friendly, and did I mention the cool mustache?!! And it speaks for his reputation for the fact that my dinner guests immediately hired him for their own dinner party after meeting him for the first time. It will be a fun experience for all, especially if you are cooking with friends! Also, how amazing is it that you get to work with the chef in your own home? Great fun! Highly recommended!

Ahhh this place makes me want to have kids JUST to be able to send them here!…read more Leonardo's Basement is a crazy amazing workspace with after school programs and summer classes for kids (mostly, some for adults too). It's pretty much a hands on learning space where children get to explore the extents of their creativity! Walking in you feel like you've stumbled into your crazy inventor uncle's basement: filled to the brim with contraptions the students and staff have built, the tools for building, and all the junk you'd need to build more contraptions. They have classes for every kind of interest, from building functioning robots to learning how to fix a bike, to making costumes, to cooking. They take things that children only dream of (like building a giant maze out of 30+ cardboard refrigerator boxes) and turn them into realities. They have such a variety of classes that you just have to check out the schedule to figure out the specifics. If I had to summarize it in one sentence it would be: This is a place that focuses on the joys of creating through building, experimenting, and learning how to take ideas out of your brain, put them on paper, and then make them physical objects. For the grown-ups they also offer some classes on making things, through the affiliated Studio Bricolage (linked on their website). We were told to check this place out by many members of the design/tinker community here and after seeing it for myself this afternoon I'm really happy to know a place like this exists.
