Each child received a $20 game card, unlimited drinks, slices of pizza, one 30 minute laser tag session and a slice of very yummy cake. We did purchase additional pizzas for the adults, as well. Everyone had a great time! We even stayed after our reservation time was up because it was so awesome. I was a little annoyed with how they crammed several parties together in the small area behind the Axe Throwing. They had each party in a "lane" sectioned off by waiting line "ropes". Because of the small space the guests were asked to please be elsewhere until "party time" (aka pizza and cake). We were told that we could rent additional tables for $50/each. We declined and decided to go hang out in the regular seating area. The food was great, the place has been transformed into something really cool (a huge difference from the old Space Center), and overall I am very happy with the decision to have his party here HUGEEEEE shout out to our party hostess, Star. She was absolutely amazing and so kind. She was sweet and helped with everything we needed and worked her butt off to make sure all of the attendees (from all parties, not just ours) were happy. I understand from the confirmation email that changes needed to be made at least five days in advance, so I recognize why we were charged for 20. However, the main issue was the service that evening. When I asked about the charge, the staff member who introduced herself as our server told me the pizzas for 20 people were already prepared and would be brought out, but she never returned. Another staff member later approached us but was argumentative rather than helpful. At that point, I simply asked for the remaining food to be boxed so we could leave. After waiting about 25 minutes with no follow-up, the food was still sitting untouched. My wife ultimately had to box up her own birthday party food. We spent around $700 expecting a fun milestone celebration, but instead left feeling ignored and frustrated. Given how quiet the venue was, the lack of attention was especially disappointing. I wanted to share this feedback in hopes it helps improve future experiences.

In the party eating room there were two highchairs available, although one had broken straps and the child couldn't be strapped in. I have these same highchairs in my home. They are $25 from Ikea - I would hope a replacement highchair is in the works. As I was a guest for a birthday party, I did not pay attention to prices. My 3-year-old had a blast however; they are lacking accommodations for families with younger children and that made our time difficult. We don't plan to return.

She later claimed I had signed a waiver stating I could not record. After reviewing the waiver I signed online, I found no such policy. She then returned and said she had just read it on the computer and wanted me to come to the computer with her. I declined because I had already reviewed the waiver myself. After these interactions, the employee continued walking around me, repeatedly looking at me and giving me dirty looks. Her behavior made me feel singled out, intimidated, and uncomfortable. Instead of de-escalating the situation, her repeated interactions increased my concern. I called to report what had happened and was told someone would contact me. More than an hour passed without a response while I was still at the facility. During that time, the employee remained there, which made me feel unsafe leaving. I became concerned about whether she had access to my personal information or information about my vehicle. I do not know whether she does, but the situation caused me significant

I do want to reiterate that my experience could have gone very differently with a "I'm sorry that there was confusion about when you'd be able to access the room. I can see how that might be frustrating. We will do everything we can to get you access to the room as soon as possible." Nothing like this was ever said. We were told the room is in use and the room is being cleaned and then we were admitted. We were admitted before the stated contract time but the reason I choose to still provide feedback about the experience is b/c while contract language says "jump time 1-2, room time 2-3" there was also email guidance about what could be brought in and how access to the room could be granted upon arrival to decorate and set up, which lead to my confusion. Also EVERY other party we have attended there and I'd say it's over 5 we had access to the room no fewer than 30+ minutes prior to "room time" or before the end of "jump time" however you want to phrase it. There's a difference between being contractually "in the right" and providing quality customer service. It's true it said room time 2-3 but it did not say no access will be provided to the room prior to that time and did have conflicting guidance in emails about access to decorate, etc. Lastly, based on the comment about being dissatisfied with the outcome, I want to be clear the only "resolution" or "outcome" I was looking for was room access, which we eventually received and we expressed our appreciation for your party planner with both words of gratitude, tip, and assisting her in getting all the items upstairs. But the outcome we never received, which appears we won't, was an acknowledgment of our feelings or even a bit of empathy for the confusion we had and the frustration we felt. Maybe it was entirely my fault to misunderstand email language about set up and base my expectations on past experiences, but all it would have taken was a simple "I'm sorry there's confusion. I see how that could be frustrating. We will do what we can to get you access as soon as possible." That's all I needed...
