I was looking for a place that would treat my natural nails with care. Joanne, treated my nails and me with care. I didn't get the side eye because I didn't want powder, acrylic or any other add ons. I simply wanted a manicure and pedicure. Joanne provided me with the best pedicure/reflexology I've had in Alabama!! Please ask for her the next time you're looking to treat yourself well! Thank you Joanne, I'll be back!

But I was pleasantly surprised to find Cute Nails & Spa open and ready to welcome clients. The location is super convenient, with plenty of free parking, which is always a win. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how bright, clean, and beautifully decorated the space was. It has that elevated spa feel that instantly helps you exhale a little deeper. I was asked to sign in on the kiosk while a gentleman, who I believe may be the owner, prepared my pedicure chair. He offered me a drink, which I appreciated, though I had brought my own. As I settled in, feet in warm water and massage chair humming, I could feel the stress starting to melt away. That's what I came for. Not just pretty toes, but a moment to release and reset. He also handed me the menu and polish options so I could take my time choosing. I decided on the Deluxe Pedicure because I was in the mood for all the extras. The steamer, hot stones, and extended exfoliation sounded like exactly what my soul needed. Ivy came over with a kind smile and introduced herself. She made sure the water temperature was just right before getting started. When she returned with a tray of products, it felt like a true spa experience. Thoughtfully presented and intentional. That detail stood out to me because while many places offer pedicures, not all create an experience around it. Ivy did an incredible job. She was attentive, unhurried, and truly focused on making the experience relaxing and thorough. Even when another client came in asking for her specifically, she never rushed through my service. She spent a full hour on my pedicure, giving special attention to both my feet and calves, and it was absolutely lovely. This wasn't just a pedicure. It was a moment of peace. I will definitely be back.

Great job on my nails and also helped me figure out why on my last pedicure, not at JR Nails, three of my toes looked like the polish just slid off a few days after getting the done! Seems if they don't shake the polish well, the oil can float to the top when applied and the polish just slides off. Exactly what happened. The polish just slid off all in one piece . The mani-pedi from JR Nails lasted for a month. Thanks guys! I'll see you again soon.

I searched the local FB pages for recommendations and found that JR Nails had opened a few months ago. Rodger and Joann had previously been at another shop and gotten great reviews, so that's why I picked JR Nails. We were able to make a same-day appointment, but they also welcome walk-ins. When we arrived, there was one client getting a pedicure, and Joann and Rodger were ready for us. Another client walked in after we started, and they got to her pretty quickly, too. There is a large TV on one wall to watch, and signs indicating they had wifi available, but unless you're getting a pedicure, there's no reason or time to be on your phone. Another sign indicated that several beverages are available on request. The color choices were vast, and they give you the swatches from which to choose while they set up. All three staff worked quickly and efficiently. Even with the other two clients there, we were out in about an hour. At the front desk, they also offered us a piece of chocolate before we left. I'm trying to get my nails back in presentable order, and they've made me self-conscious lately. I walked out super happy with how they look and will return more often to get them done.
