The place is large. 3bd, 2ba, 1800+ sq ft. Mind you it is empty but that's a lot to cover. What I didn't realize is that 3 women came armed with a wide array of cleaning supplies. I told them they didn't have to vacuum since I was getting the carpet cleaned a few hours later, but they vacuumed up the dust and debris they had collected from swiping every crevice. They went right to work, cleaning all the normal stuff. What impressed me was all the little things they cleaned without my direction, from window sills to the oven grill and pans the laundry closet around the sides of the washer/dryer. They had a telescoping broom made specifically to dust the corners of the wall/ceiling. They even cleaned the light fixtures in the dining room and the lightbulbs. I needed a receipt so she rushed out to get one for me before they were done. I am still taken aback at how efficient they were. I was running around doing last cleanup and even taking work calls, but they were not annoyed or fazed by me. It took them about 2.5 hours and the cost was $140. For that level of quality service, I think that is phenomenal. Keep in mind prices may vary as this place was completely empty. I heard she does most of the Peninsula, so I will definitely refer her to people. Moving out is always stressful and usually somewhat melancholy or bittersweet. I really appreciate Sylvia's work and attitude in making this easy and hassle-free.

The day before cleaning I texted her more info about the place and what else I needed cleaned, and she accommodated my time after my work to get a quick look and confirm the cost for a 2-2.5 hour cleaning of my 2 bed/1 ba place. On the day of cleaning, Loida and Shirley (?) came on time. I confirmed the specific areas that needed to be thoroughly cleaned with Loida (bathroom shower stall and air vent, out/inside stovetop oven, refrigerator, washer, and dryer) along with wiping/dusting all outside surfaces and walls, inside of all drawers/cabinets, interior windows, vacuum and mop. I was there for the two hours since I needed to clear out a furniture and small items that were left from the previous tenant. They were flexible and worked around me as I emptied the rooms. They did a good job making my new place look, smell, feel cleaner and more comfortable to move in. I chose Loida among others because she's local to my new place, responsive, and addressed my specific cleaning needs at a reasonable cost. There were just a few cobwebs on the ceiling and dust at a small area of the floor that I noticed after they left, but not a problem considering their thoroughness with cleaning the areas described above. I hired Loida again for "move out" cleaning from my old place. Loida and Shirley did a comparable job with the 2 bed/2 ba condo that was even messier/dirtier than my new place.
